As for Ultra...
Well then... I might as well have fun then, yeah?

~Kazul (continued)~

"Right. Who's second?" I laughed as even more, seeing the on-coming brawl came up to also fight. Except in their case, they were just here to fight anyone.
The first one to get in my face got a straight to the jaw followed immediately with my barbs shredding their face too.
Another attempted to double-team me with a fire-&-ice combo with a partner. I punched the ground with both fists, twisting my arms around so the barb-covered backs were facing the elements. I barely felt the impact and perhaps a little heat and cold behind my arms.
As soon as the attack was over for the moment, I lifted my fists from ground, shouldered another member of my own squad roughly to the side and proceeded forward, my attention focused on the two element-users. I swung my arms around behind me and blocked a counter-attack I knew would be coming. I felt the slight impact on my arm, which registered no pain whatsoever and quickly yanked the Sqwad member forward (his weapon caught among my barbs).
Something most ignorant fighters don't take care to learn about me is that my barbs are a bit prehensile. Not so much that they curl around something but enough that I can tangle something in them and drag them along for a little ride. A little like ivy.
Back to the fight: the Sqwad member behind me went flying forward right into the two element users who were probably from the Brains squad. Brain over brawl? HAH!
Then I got tagged in the shoulder by a bullet.
"Oi!" I roared, turning automatically towards the source "You keep outta this ya buncha ninnies! Unless you wanna come down here and do this up-close and personal!" I roared (along with a measureable amount of swearing and curse-words) at the Steath Sqwad taking pot-shots. That shot they took at me was obviously them playing around. If they wanted to hit me somewhere more vital I knew they'd have hit it.
Knowing my words were... well, just words, the lot of them just snickered at my raging and when they made to target me again, I took evasive manuevers and grabbed someone else.
Using more force than really neccessary, I yanked the other guy in-between me and the Steath-guys and absorbed a few blows from other black min in the brawl.
Another element-user attempted to blast me with electricity at point-blank range. Unfortunately for him, the back of my arms was mostly dry, hard flesh without any moisture in it. Thus, my arms don't conduct electricity. This isn't to say I got off completely unharmed but it certainly didn't hurt as much as it would've otherwise.
Once the electricity was gone, I released the guy I was already holding and twisted my arms around to clap electric-boy between the backs of my arms.
He wisely ducked and my barbs intertwined with one another. With a hard yank, I just pulled them back apart and continued fighting.
~Log Paused~

That's good enough for me for now.

And yeah... Kazul thinks the Steath Sqwad as little more than wimps too afraid to get up close in a fight. In short: cowards. 'Course, this is far from the truth but hey, Kazul's not exactly equal to Einstein in IQ.

Time to get to some previous characters....

Yeah, some people here just had to pick Jade as a name for their characters...

I'm not mad about that.

Note: This log is the female character named Jade.

Jade Log

I had been told as soon as I woke up that I had been out of it for a long time. It was Deneb who told me that and then I was left alone. She was also the one treating me. I saw that I had several bandages wrapped around my torso. I tried to get up but someone shoved me back down.

"Stay down there for now. You're still hurt."

I turned my head to look at who spoke to see that it was a silver pikmin with light for eyes. I was going to attack her but soon realized that it was only Wren.

"Where's the healer?" I asked coldly.

"Deneb, she's around but she wanted me to make sure that you don't get up" Wren said meekly as she shifted her eyes from side to side

I swiped Wren's arm away and got up to a sitting position against the tree that I was lying by. I looked around as I focused on the trees around us. I turned my head and focused on Wren who seemed concerned about something. Yeah, I had that sort of effect on her. I had that sort of effect

"When will Deneb be here? I have a thing or two to say to her" I growled angrily.

Wren backed off in a hurry as my crimson curved blade appeared in my hand. I held it up as I glared at the surrounding trees waiting for Deneb to get back. I shifted my eyes from side to side as I looked for where Deneb would come from. I was about to give up when someone or something landed on my head. I looked up as I felt something jump off of my head and land down somewhere. I looked around until I focused on the blue pikmin wearing a witch hat. I brought my sword about and pointed it at Deneb's throat. She grabbed a hold of my sword and tilted it so that it was pushing up her hat. I saw the grin from beneath the shadows.

"Nice to see you are up and about, Jade Muramasa" Deneb said coolly as she took off her hat.

"Why am I supposed to sit here?" I demanded. "Aren't I healed up already?"

"You're healed up but there's a chance that your wounds might open up again. I'm not about to let that happen. You being the leader and all."

"I'm not just going to stay here and lay about!"

I got quickly back up onto my feet disregarding Deneb's insistence on staying there. I cringed a little from the pain but started to move. I noticed that I was little bit stiff from just laying about. I wondered how long I had been out since that fight. I remembered what happened. I was going to suck the life out of that last pikmin but that pikmin stopped me. He had a strange body type one that was harder to take down. He didn't give up when I went to my second form. I brought myself around as I looked at the tree noticing a few scratch marks on it. I had marked the tree so that I could find my way back here again.

"We're towards the edge of the forest."

"Good."

I looked at Wren.

"Get the rest of the weapon spirits here."

"We're already here."

I turned around and looked up to see the various weapon spirits sitting in the trees above me. I looked down to see a bit of red showing up on the bandages. I walked off as I knew that the rest were following closely behind me. I heard them following me.

"Are we going to kill anything?"

"Yes, we are Pride, yes we are" I said as I knew who was speaking to me.

"Goody, as long as I get to kill something, I'm satisfied. I don't care whether if it is another pikmin or even one of my own color. I'll kill whoever I want to kill" Pride said insanely. "Blood spilled is the best kind of blood!"

Pride was one of those weapon spirits that was messed up in the head. He was a black pikmin before but now he had no loyalties to his ilk. The voice inside of his head had stopped completely since he was trapped within the blade. I released him but he had no voice inside of his head talking to him. He was a little lost but I filled that void. He grew to accept what he now was. He was no longer a black pikmin since the day that I released him. He was truly loyal to me alone. It was with his help along with the rest of the weapon spirits that I would accomplish my goals.

I kept on moving forward as I found myself outside of the forest and heading for a city. I focused on it as the rest of the weapon spirits got all ready as well. This city would be turned to rubble.

End Log
Jade (Muramasa) is on the move though she's hurt. I don't really care what someone says about the whole "Black Pikmin" thing. Jade is quite mysterious with her powers. Yes, the whole "Snapdragon scroll" thing actually kills the character then transforms them into a sword. It turns them completely into something else. Jade, being the way that she is, has ways of twisting any being around her fingertips. She's a master at manipulating others to her very whim.

6.6.11 to 6.12.11[]

Completed Paper Mario for what I think is about the tenth time.

I've been looking into information into the new system...

It's now called Wii U.

Just to note something that I saw wrong with your reaction log, Kirby...

They were eels and not snakes (of course, your character might have thought that they were snakes, and if that was the case then forget that I even said that bit)...
-------------------------------

Vanada Log

I dodged out of the way of an attack to be hit by something piercing through me though it didn't hurt much but what happened after, caused me a great deal of pain. It caused to falter a bit but then I dodged successfully out of the way of the next attack without very much effort. My eels circled around her as he dodged out of the way as one charged at her and she moved straight into another one which bit down into her. She stifled a cry and blasted the eel away. I regained some sense back and tried to resist the urge to attack her but this was quickly quashed by a sense of hopelessness as the area around me grew dark or well it must have just been my eyesight and then the impulse came back in full force.

I tried to resist it but that was quite hopeless. I dodged out of the way as she attacked me. She had asked me what my problem was. I wanted to tell her who I was but it felt like I wasn't really in control of my body at the moment. I snapped my fingers together and the eels dispersed sending out a wave of red salt. She tried to dodge out of the way but one portion of the wave smacked into her. She was still okay though from what I saw. I dodged out of the way of her next attack before getting hit by the blunt end of a strong underwater current.

"You forced me into this position" I growled at her as my body dispersed into the water.

She was looking around for me trying to find me but she wouldn't be able to. I started shifting the water around causing it to turn into whirlpool forming in the middle of Listless Lake as I reformed on top of a rising tower of water in the center. The water was being absorbed fast into my body. My body started to contract into a smaller and smaller shape until I could see all around me as I was a mere ball of water with something in the center and then I sprouted watery limbs filled with the blood-soaked salt and then I closed my eyes. I opened my eyes again as I spotted her in the water trying valiantly to avoid being sucked towards the center of the whirlpool.

She was the elemental of water after all and so it wasn't too difficult for her to keep from going to the center without tiring herself out. I lashed out with one of my solid-like watery limbs, grabbed onto her, and then threw her back into the water where a barrier of blood-soaked salt was waiting. She bounced off of it and seemingly winced but well I couldn't really say for sure. It must have hurt and I may have been imagining things. I felt something move from the center to one of the limbs. I felt something pierce through me a second after something else that was within me had moved. She dodged out of the way of one of the limbs. I chuckled at the sight of her dodging out of the way. I sent a wave of water in her direction and she barely dodged out of the way. I watched her as she fired off an attack. I moved out of the way of the attack and smirked at her.

"Come on now, you'd better hurry up. The water level is declining."

End Log

Okay...

Inspiration for this part of the fight....

Morpha (the whole changing his body into a sort of modified version of that boss from LoZ: OOT)....

Whirlpool is right around the center of Listless Lake, creating a sort of barrier (closing the area up a little making it that much harder to dodge around)....

The water level is actually declining due to Vanada absorbing the water from the lake.

---

Eh... eels... snakes... when I initially did that log, I mistakenly only had two of them involved (rather than a swarm). I corrected that though. At any rate, you understand so no harm done.

~Serris~

I don't know what I had hit exactly in this guy but when I did, I was hit quite suddenly with an explosion of energy. It shunted me back and left me tingling with pain.
For several moments, the guy seemed to be fighting something in his mind while I was forced to evade more of his salty pets. One managed to clamp its fangs down on my shoulder. The pain was sharp and intense but I overrode it and reacted. I smashed it with a ball of "hard" water and tried to fight my way towards my opponent, who seemed to have gotten his head into the fight again.
"What the heck is your problem, comin' here and attacking me like this!?" I roared and shot at spray of sharp water-darts at him.
I tried forcing him back up with an undercurrent went he went downwards, where he just vanished into the water. What the-? "You forced me into this position" Then a whirlpool formed and a ball of water rose in the middle like a tower. It seemed like the water was vanishing into that ball as the lake water-level dropped rapidly. I tried throwing more water-spears at the ball, hoping to have some effect but nothing...
I ended up getting thrown into a wall of that salt in the water for my trouble. I quickly escaped the wave of salt and went with the flow while still fighting the inward current. Trying to go against both the direction of the whirlpool and the sucking of the same would only slow me down and make me more vulnerable to attack. Then I noticed something moving and it grabbed me before I could figure out what it was in time.
It, which turned out to be some sort of tentacle, proceeded to throw me at the salt again. I hit the salt and again felt that intense stinging.
"Argh..." I grunted but then noticed something moving in the salty water. Taking my chances, I forced more water away from this guy's control and shot a lance of the water at the moving object, hoping it might be him. I apparently missed though.
I heard a soft chuckling and then a small, red tidal wave arose of its own accord and I barely managed to jet myself over it. "Come on now, you'd better hurry up. The water level is declining." "Yeah... tell me something I don't know." I grumbled to the area in general.
~Log Paused~

Just a restatement of that last log from Serris's perspective. Next events coming up.

---

~Serris~(continued)

I saw another one of those tentacles come at me and evaded it just in time. It was hard to see in the water but I managed.
I ended up shooting up out of the water and proceeded to run across the top of the water like some water-sprite. From here, the water current's effects on me were reduced and what was going on was a bit clearer. On the other hand, I was feeling much more weakened just being out of the water (even if I was still on top of it) and furthermore, I was rapidly running out of water to work with.
"Right... time for a gamble." I mumbled and scanning the water and everywhere around for that thing I had spotted earlier. As it happened, the object was on its way up the tower of water in the center.
I dived and jetted at the fastest speed I could, blasting through the water and half-dispersing myself in it (I was still partially substancial though). The various things attacking me in the water seemed to lose track of me for a few seconds, which was precisely what I had been aiming for. As soon as I saw this, I turned sharply at the tower and shot out of a wall of the whirlpool like a spear being thrown, shooting ahead of the thing I was targeting. I was going at break-neck speeds; I couldn't put any less than everything into this. Make-or-break time.
It was a long flight despite being only a few seconds and my biggest concern was something intercepting my flight-course (which I wouldn't be able to change and was helpless on) however, it seemed I had lost the guy for a moment with my speed-burst and for several moments, my stomach clenched as gravity proceeded to increasingly assert itself on me. Then I hit the tower and, before anything else could happen, I punched at my target, forcibly firing a lance of water from the tower itself, at it.
*Bang!*
The water exploded and the tower visibly destabilized. Being so close, I was blasted off the side of the tower myself. The tower remained, though the whirlpool slowed and the tower took several moments while the body stopped sucking water and repaired itself, some water dripping back into the lake.
Something that also caught my attention this time was the fact that some of the water near the explosion was a deep maroon. In fact, some was out-right black.
Something's not right here...
I thought I had seen black before, but I had figured that was the explosion of water nearly knocking me out. I was quite concious right now and could see this blackness clearly.
What's going on...
~End Log~

One more hit ought to do the trick and allow Vanada to dispell the forced impulse. And in case you couldn't tell, Serris is now getting her suspicions that Vanada's not being himself (though her memory doesn't recall anything about him).
Any problems?

~Digit~

I had just finished another fight and just earned myself a place in one of the higher tiers. This was evident from the tier having only one list. A fine (and first-time) accomplishment for me.
Leaving my armor-suit where I usually did after making repairs and tuning it up, I headed into the lobby once again and took a seat and to celebrate a little with a drink.
The clerk saw my satifaction and gave me a smirk.
"What? Somethin' wrong with a guy giving himself a hand for making it so far up without all that Blood-flare stuff helping him? I mean c'mon, I've been ridiculed for at least a year because the rest of 'em claim I'm a wimp for something I just don't have the mind to use." I said defensively.
The clerk calmly raised his hand in a peaceful motion.
"Easy, it's not that... it's just that you're kinda relaxing a bit too much for someone who's going too slow to keep away from our newest star. You heard about that Blood Queen?"
I blinked... I'd heard some rumors...
"Yeah... she's a nasty piece a' work. Not going to be too long before she gets to where you're at and then..."
The clerk's hand wandered to his own neck...
Some of my excitement over my accomplishment died in my chest and laid itself to rest right there, leaving dead-weight that made me feel like I might suffocate.
Clerk's expression soften a bit.
"Mind you... I get the feeling she might be nicer than she lets on. 'Course, that could just be me and my delusion, again mind you." he shrugged and went to attend to other things.
Uuuuuugh... great... what do I do...? My head sank into my hand as my thoughts started running around trying to figure that out.
~Log Paused~

I figured it's getting close to time for Leda to face Digit. I don't know how much of a challenge he might be able to give her but...
Anyways, it's not neccessarily her next fight so no pressure to proceed here.

---

~Serris~ (Redo)

It was hard to evade all the attacks coming at me continually. I barely evaded another one of those tentacles that came at me in the water, being that I barely saw it at all.
I finally ended up shooting up out of the water and was running across the water like some sprite. There certainly wasn't any getting away from here what with the wall around this whirlpool.
The effects of the water currents were considerably reduced on me up here and I could see more clearly what was going on. On the other hand, I also felt considerably weaker being out of the water (even if I was still atop it). This guy was little more than a ball of water now at the top of his tower.
I scanned the entire area and then noticed that thing I'd seen earilier, flowing around in the ball. This wasn't going to be easy, I could be sure of that. Only one thing for this... and it'd be a big gamble.
Initially, I considered launching myself directly at the tower, through the air but being apart from the water like that seemed like a bad idea. The alternative... wasn't much better but I'd still be in the water at least. I was still doing everything in my power to evade attacks while I watched that thing that I had hit earlier. I saw it move out into one of the tentacles and I saw a chance right then.
"Alright... here goes nothing." I muttered and turned sharply towards the whirlpool.
I generated a surfboard made of water and began riding down the whirlpool, going slightly with the flow but most of all, I was going down. Attacks came as I went but I shredded in the water and used my "waterboard" to slice through them and continue on down at high-speed. After several moments, I hit the base of the tower of rising water and from there, I used the momentum I had to shoot up the tower. Note: I was actually inside the tower of water.
"Alright, you wanna suck water? Suck on this!" I yelled as I reached the top (the current of the tower itself helped). I punctuated my last word with a hard water-loaded thrust of my hand at the thing in the ball, which had been moving into the ball from the tentacle it was in just then, as I predicted. I smashed through one of the tentacles and thrust a lance of water at it. *Bang!* The explosion occurred again, blasting me back down the tower into the whirlpool and the ball lost a considerable amount of water which fell after me. The tower of rising water staggered in its progress and almost stopped.
As I looked up at the ball, I noticed something definitely wrong. The ball that was normally red, was now more a maroon in color. Some of it was outright black.
Something's not right here...
I had to move right then as more attacks came at me (no doubt more automatic attacks) and I dove into the water and moved with the whirlpool, looking for another chance.
~Log Paused~

Shadow, I'm certain by this point that I understand clearly what's going on. And again, yes what Serris did was quite a risky move but she's trying to end this fight before Vanada wears her out (and she's dead if it comes to that obviously).

Vanada Log

I screamed out in agony as something exploded outwards from within me. I felt the impulse starting to fade away but I couldn't resist it. I dispersed into the water again spreading myself out from the tower of water. It resumed its actions from before and now several dozen water towers rose up from the lake's surface, obviously the water was being sucked up again but at a much quicker rate. I watched the elemental of water moving within the whirlpool. She wasn't going to escape this time. She seemed a little surprised that I wasn't there at the tower anymore or at least tried to figure out which tower of water I was on.

I smiled as a tentacle formed within the water grabbing her from behind. It lifted her up and out of the water as it threw her down into a small drifting cluster of red salt. I watched as she went straight through it. She didn't cry out in pain or anything like that but she must have been hurting. I had to stop this. No, I had to attack her. She recollected herself or so it seemed as she looked around for whatever she had aimed at before. I wasn't going to kill her. I felt the impulse weaken for just a tiny bit. I didn't know how long I could do this for but I just had to do this. I reformed a tentacle somewhere within the whirlpool. The "thing" traveled up that limb and seemingly stayed there as I was pierced by something. I hoped that she could see it now.

"Help....me...li...sis!"

I could barely control this action of mine as I started attacking her with other watery tentacles. She avoided these with relative ease and was once again using the watery environment to her favor. I couldn't stop the attacks from happening and so I was going to have to try and stall the "thing" within the tentacle from moving. I let the blood and the salt condensate into that tentacle highlighting it for my sister to see. I hoped that she could see it. Based on her current movement, she would be in sight of it within two minutes or so. I was only holding on just barely with that one tentacle from attacking her. She eventually got in sight of it and was now gunning for the limb. I started attacking her more as the impulse became stronger again but I still held out that limb and trying to keep that "thing" to stay there. I blasted her back with a wave of salty water but she quickly recovered and headed for the tentacle.

She attacked that spot in the tentacle but at the last second, I felt the "thing" move away from the attack. I watched as I continued to attack her as she did the same move again but this time she got up real close to the tentacle and hit it dead-on. I cried out as the dark energy erupted inside of me.

It faded away after a few seconds and the impulse to attack her, left my mind. I laid there dispersed in the water and non-moving. I felt something escaped from my body. I looked towards the whirlpool and the dozens of water towers disperse and become one with the water again. I was going to be feeling this pain for a little while. I reformed my body and the salt and the blood returned to me.

“Hey there, little sister” I said as I turned to look at her.

End Log

Well, I didn't know exactly what to do to finish this up and so I just did what I had to do...

Ya, you wouldn't be able to "convince" me otherwise about Morpha.

---

Ah, right. My bad.

~Serris~ (Redo)

I finally landing another hit on that thing and the explosion wasn't as powerful as previously. I noticed something blue that wasn't water fly out of the other side.
After several moments of... deflating, the ball of water reformed into that pikmin-shape again. He got up, a little shaky probably from the explosion. I still couldn't help being a bit on-guard even if he was- in theory- back in his right mind.
"Hey there, little sister” he said as he turned to face me, a silly smile on his face.
I blinked, struck a bit dumb right then... I finally managed to get out something:
"Excuse me?"
"Little sister." He repeated, "Yanno... Vanada... big brother..." he was definitely more friendly. He seemed to be trying to get me to recognize him.
And something in the back of my mind did spark... he looked familiar...his name too.
My attention was diverted though when I noticed something that looked like small black pikmin flew down and picked up a blue... rock(?) off the ground behind Vanada.
Vanada noticed and glanced back.
"Demetri..." he growled and looked like he wanted to tear the black figure into molecules.
The nightshade tossed the blue thing in the air once, caught it and flew off, joined by something that looked like a fireball.
Vanada glared after Demetri and then turned to me again.
"Look... sorry about attacking you like that... I figure it was him. I can't figure out what exactly he did to me but... it's good to you again sis."
I refocused my eyes on Vanada's face, taking it in...
Big bro, eh? I gave him a smile.
"I'm afraid I can't really remember you... but something is definitely ringing a bell back there in my mind." I said, somewhat apologetic.
~End Log~

I think that ought to do. Anything further with Serris and Vanada (as far as I've got planned) won't involve fighting. In fact, anything else with them for now is up to you.

6.13.11 to 6.19.11[]

Alright... I'm going to try this one more time...

~Demetri~

Having reclaimed the Sapphire, I did comtemplate for a moment finishing off the two fluid elementals before me but it occurred to me that that whelp-shade was still tailing me and these two together... while they certainly couldn't beat me, they'd stall me long enough that that annoyance would catch up again. I had no desire to deal with him right now. So I flew back into the air, rejoining Firus.
I noticed his discomfort at flying over water.
"Get a grip." I spat roughly "We're gonna be flyin' over a lot more than that soon enough..."

Some hours later, we arrived at the location: a different continent entirely. I pulled out the topaz in my little gem collection and focused on it. Firus took the time to apparently recollect his nerves from flying over 100 feet of water like we had.
Electricity crackled around me as I forced the gem to point my desired destination out.
......North... North-east...
I looked up sharply and jetted forward. At one point, we passed something large and mechnical and Firus wanted to torch it for the fun. I gave him a glare that halted any action on his part.
"No time for games of that nature now." I hissed "Perhaps another time." Not that you'll have another time. I thought in the back of my mind.
We finally arrived... black clouds and masses of lightning jumping every which-way awaited.
This could be a bit dangerous.
~End Log~

Demetri will be having a confrontation with Zack (who's hanging around the temple as he's wont to do on occassion). But in the meantime, I'm going to wisely ask what these things are that give dark-users a disadvantage in Cascading Plains.
Regardless, Demetri's going to be just powering through it (or using whatever means neccessary). But it's best to know.

Black Scythe

I took a deep whiff of the air. Snorting it back out, I nodded. There was no mistaking that scent, not after so long. I'd encounter that particular brand of oil in only one place.

Gearteeth.

Irrationally, this drove me to find the source. Any remnant of Gear, I was going to annihilate. I'd make SURE nobody even remembered he'd ever existed. He didn't deserve it. Now where is that smell coming from?

Following the scent to the edge of the woods in the area, I touched down and took another whiff. Closer. So close. Where is it?

Click.

I swept my right arm up and caught an artillery shell to the blade. I lashed out with my tails and caught the large, unmistakable shape of a Geartooth. Growling, I ripped it in half and tore the remains to shreds. Irrational, yes, but I was beyond caring.

"That's it? Hah. To think these things were once a threat. How the mighty have fallen," I sneered, stomping the machine's motherboard to smithereens. That was when something made a shunk noise behind me, as a hidden door swept up and open, revealing a ramp down into the earth.

A ramp with lots more Gearteeth on it. A grin spread over my face as I raised oil-slicked claws.

"Just like old times, then," I muttered to myself, before rushing into their ranks, tearing my way through them on my way down the ramp. The dark hallway lit up with explosions in my wake, lighting the way further in. A few bullets and shells scored hits on me, but I simply shrugged them off on a berserker charge. Spotting a door a ways up ahead, I sped up, whipped my right arm back, and burst forth, crumpling the door with one huge blow.

Dispatching the few remaining Gearteeth directly behind me with a few contemptuous swipes of my tails, I yanked my arm free from the yard-thick door and hopped to the top of a railing, for I was now on a walkway over a large...

Underground factory. Damn, I hadn't even known he'd had these. I'm gonna have to scour the whole damn planet just to get rid of these now, aren't I?

"WARNING. INTRUDER ALERT. INTRUDER ALERT!" a mechanized voice reported. The factory was very suddenly alive with machines. Lots of machines. Lots of machines with deadly weaponry.

"Oh, this WILL be fun, won't it?" I sneered.

---

Might as well...

~Kazul~

The brawl just continued to escalate, which was perfectly fine by... well, just everyone here. Basically the entire army really.
I halted another attack against me, catching the attacker's weapon with my arm and shoved. The black had to back away when he felt unwilling to experience a faceful of briars.
Someone else got past my defenses and started laying in on my back with attacks.
I forced a turnaround and caught the weapon in one hand, before countering-attacking with a rather fast hook across the guy's face. I then unleashed a haymaker with the other arm, knocking the fellow black clear off his feet with the excessive force I used.
I stormed onwards laughing loudly as I was throughly enjoying this. None of that weakling nonesense that other colors were always givin' me. Of course, several attacks got aimed at me for that; laughing like that was just roaring: "Oi! Attack me already! I'm a big-headed idiot." Whether I was actually an idiot or not depended on how well I took the target down. I blocked what attacks I could with my arms and whirled recklessly, smacking several combatants around me with my fists afterwards. The battle was only starting now to take it out of me.
Someone else came clanking forward, probably one of Ark's armor guys judging from his equipment.
"Bloody compensators..." I grumbled and twisted to avoid a metal-laden punch from the armored black. I punched at the guy's stomach and the armor resounded with a loud *clang!*.
"Hate to admit it, but you did a nice job." I muttered, somewhat stunned that I hadn't even dented the metal. My fist was a little sore but I was okay otherwise for the moment.
"Thanks." the black said, and I could imagine he was wearing a big grin under that head-covering helmet of his.
*Wham!*
He counter-attacked with a hard punch to the face that I didn't manage to block and I staggered back.
"Right... think I'll see if that armor's so good everywhere" I muttered and, wiping blood off my lip, stepped forward again.

Think I did okay... then again, you probably don't care too much Ultra. *shrug*

Been a bit of a while since I've had the freedom of just having two of my characters fight like this.
One last thing about my edits: I am trying to limit myself just so you know.

~Demetri~

I found the gem couldn't seem to pull any control of the electricity around here towards me. However, it still provided a good shield as I could still control the electricity inheriently there in the gem itself already. As I flew along, I just used the gem to either absorb or deflect bolts that attempted to strike me on their way down.
Firus didn't have nearly so easy a time since the gem's barrier was one-pikmin-only... myself. Then again, he seemed to not attract all that many electrical bolts... perhaps the heat?
On the other hand, I was attracting quite a few bolts, probably either due to the gem or just this area's vindictiveness. None of them were getting to me though, as they either vanished into the gem (where I had control over the electricity then), or hit the barrier from the gem and zig-zagged off in another direction like a ricocheting bullet.
After some minutes of fast flying through this electrically dense zone, we finally arrived at a very large building that had to be the temple of electricity.
Though it was made of what looked like stone, electricity was flowing in the air all around it and there was at least two pointed spikes on the building that was drawing electricity towards them just from height.
*Zzzzzrrrtt!*
Almost right as we arrived, a white... no, he's yellow... appeared in a jolt of electricity. He was a very light shade of yellow... no wonder I thought he was white at first there...
"Demetri..." he said with rather bored intones "To what do I owe a visit from the previous elemental of darkness?" he didn't look pleased or even confused to see me. He had a rather long stalk that he was almost cradling with one arm, it ended in an orb that was glowing with an electric spark.
I landed and surveyed him.
"Zack... isn't it?" I asked politely. I'd done some research before coming. However it seemed Zack wasn't going to even begin to buy any friendly motions from me.
"Drop the act dark-boy." he said, teeth clenched "A friend of mine witnessed what you did to the guy who was previously the water elemental... Vanada wasn't it? Told me he almost immediately went searching for Serris and started a fight. 'Hope for your sake she's alright... 'cause if anyone's gonna spark her hide, it's me. No one else!"
Greater and greater amounts of electricity were gathering around Zack as he made his little speech. He finally seemed to explode when he yelled the last statement, and I was forced to block the discharge with the gem.
It was almost immediately over-charged with electricity. In fact, I had to let go of it and let it rejoin the others as the electricity was getting to be a bit too much for me to keep under control.
Zack flicked that long stalk of his around behind his back and positioned himself to fight, looking very peeved...
It seemed this was going to be tricky... I had no defenses now against his attack save my own element.
"Oh yeah, and a little tip for you Demetri: if I were you right now, and I was gonna fight, I'd stay on the ground here. The clouds around here are my personal tesla coils if you get my drift." Zack said with a definite air of menace. The guy originally looked laid-back but now... he seemed like he could give me a run for my money in the "scary" department.
Best give this my all then...
~End Log~

I think I followed the way the landscape works well enough so far...
Whether the large number of bolts Demetri attracted was natural or Zack's influence... I'll really just leave to imagination.
Oh yeah, and Zack's witness-friend was Penn just so you know.

~Demetri~ (Continuing)

The electric elemental hopped into the air where I promptly wouldn't be able to reach him without a ranged attack.
I fire a laser of dark energy at him, which oddly was distorted as lightning flashed in the back. The laser ended up flying past him, not even close to hitting him.
"Whatsa matter? Can't hit the broad-side of a bulborb, Demetri?" Zack said, clearly taunting me in a sarcastic tone.
*Crack-Booom!*
I shielded myself entirely when a bolt of lightning shot down from the clouds and caused an explosion rather close to me. I then jumped out from behind my shield and darted towards Zack.
He whirled and within seconds, electricity had gathered about him, four rings of electrical power circling him.
Firus had been flying to attack him, just withstanding the few bolts of electricity that struck at him in the meantime, but when he attempted to strike at the electrical pikmin, the barrier... gave him a shock (which is a severe understatement). He dropped from the sky and crashed to the ground, not moving. He wasn't dead though... or else he'd have vanished.
Zack whipped that orb around again, catching it in one hand this time.
"I'm going to end this now." He said bluntly and gripped the orb like one might as they try to see the future in a crystal ball. "Sky Raid!"
Immediately the four rings around him shot into the orb and two things happened at once:
First: several streams of electricity shot from the sky and the temple behind him to orb and Zack in general. They were apparently channeling power.
Second: A singular, thick bolt of electricity shot directly at me. I barely got the other gems out and put up a barrier with them in time!
This bought me all of three seconds.
The electrical stream drained the gems in a hurry and I was forced to hurriedly use my own power to block it. I immediately could feel that I only had a few more seconds with the relatively little power I had.
I was getting quickly irritated by this problematic situation and resorted to something a bit risky. I pulled out the over-charged topaz and slammed it.
This got the desired result: a violent electrical discharge. This hit myself rather severely and I felt a significant drain of strength. Additionally, I of course ended up dropping the topaz. In the meantime though, the discharge also scattered Zack's electrical stream and caused it to lose contact with me for several moments.
I didn't have any time to lose and pulled out the opal in the gem collection. I then extracted the onyx in myself. It seemed my power alone would be inaccurate so I'd need to stabilize it's accuracy, if only a little.
"I will not be denied!" I roared and slammed the opal into the onyx as I fired another black blast at Zack.
The dark-light blast shot through the air and while the darkness seemed to try going to the side, it was hooked to the light as well and couldn't move from its trajectory.
In the moment where it was flying at Zack, his electrical stream reconnected with me and I ended up with several million volts shooting directly into me.
I only experienced this pain for about 2 seconds though as the shot I had made at him hit him shortly after.
The blast was more powerful than I might've intended (I was trying to conserve power if I could right now) and it knocked Zack out of the air to his surprise.
He landed on the ground and shook himself off before getting up again. I was already feeling weakened just defending from his attack.
Gah... hate to admit it... but he's got some real power here...

Lilith Log

I grinned as I appeared right by Drake passing him. He started to whine as I raced on ahead of him. The four other me’s were racing by him as well. He did a double take but that was to be expected. He complained even more.

"Quit your whining, Drake” I replied harshly. "Better keep up, Drake. He only sent you out here with me to test your worth."

I kept up my speed and he still whined a little but that had stopped as he tried to keep up with me. It wouldn't really matter to me whether he arrived later than me. I was aware that the town that Malice was sending us to was not some common place. I finally had two of myself carry him after five days of slow traveling despite his protests that he could move as fast as me. It was with this that I ran at my full speed. I finally stopped in front of the main entrance to the town. There was little to even defend it or maybe I was overlooking something.

My clones put Drake down and he seemed ready to fulfill Malice's wishes. I watched as he acted out on those wishes. I simply watched him as I prepared myself to do what he specifically asked me to do. I would allow Drake to do the simple work of spreading death and destruction. I sent out my clones as they melded into the shadows, looking for the statues of heroes. I felt something else was here but I didn't know what it was. It seemed like I was being watched but that was silly unless there was something watching from the very maw of hell. I looked pensively at the ground and thought I saw a pair of gold colored eyes looking back up at me. It was a tiny bit disturbing but there had to be something else here then. I wasn't losing my mind that's for sure.

I remembered something that I heard from the ramblings of demons that had come before me. There was this one being within hell that didn't care about what it attacked as long as it got to feed on the energy stored within any living being. If I could release this being and convince the being to join Malice's side then we would be much closer to our goal. I got straight to work carving the runes needed to open up a temporary gateway to hell. I would let it through.

"Doing a good job there, Drake" I said coolly as I focused my powers on this new task of mine.

End Log

Lilith was told to do something else by Malice and that was to destroy the statues. She's currently working on opening up a gateway to Nazar (that one character that I created). I left it pretty much open for Drake's actions, Kirby. No restrictions...

---

Might as well do a short one from Drake since you addressed him:

~Drake~

I was somewhat embarassed by Lilith carrying me a good portion of the way but I just went with it.
On arrival, I darted straight into town and tackled one pikmin.
"Let's get this party started!" I cackled and slammed my hand down on the pikmin's back, over his heart. I focused for a moment while I called on that new power Lord Malice had gifted me with and it responded very quickly. It acted of its own accord, apparently knowing what to do already and shot through my arm (leaving me with a hot, burning feeling in my arm that felt quite nice to me).
My victim didn't enjoy the sensation so much and screamed. Beautiful.
I lifted my hand from him and looked up to see the others attempting to swarm me.
"Go! Let's raise some Hell here!" I commanded the new demon that had been a pikmin seconds before. The others before me didn't notice this change until their former associate got up and pounced on one of them. I attacked another that looked strong already and, after a moment of wrestling with him, I slammed my hand on his chest and injected him too.
I laughed some more! This was so much fun, I figured it ought to be illegal! Then again, it probably is to them but what to do I care!? Ha ha!
I charged in, the populace beginning to flee now.
~End Log~

I think that's good enough from Drake for now.

Aura Log

I was preoccupied with my thoughts at this very moment. I didn't really know what I was going to do. I didn't want to get Isaac involved but we were meant to fight together. I didn't like hiding my problems from him. I should be more open but at the same time I feared being open to someone else. I wasn't prepared to face those hardships yet and so I kept him in the dark. We were steadily moving towards the west coast of this continent. The silence between me and Isaac was never broken after we had our little argument. Isaac seemed disturbed but well he had right to be. I didn't have any reason to be. I was coming down the hill and as I did I looked up. I could see something blue moving in the distance. I was sure that my eyesight wasn't fooling me. It had to be the ocean. I stared at it before we reached relatively flat and rocky ground. I had some notion where I was to go. I heard the whistling sound but didn’t really think much of it.

"Watch out!"

I looked up to see what looked like shiny dots in the sky. I quickly jumped back and found Isaac was already there. He had noticed what was happening before me. That's new but in my defense I was deeply thinking about things while barely noticing what was going on around us. It was in the next moment that I saw an arrow hit the ground that we stood on just moments ago. I looked at the next arrow and then a flurry of arrows hitting the ground at high velocities. These arrows weren't from any small bow. They were too big. It was after a few minutes before the last arrow hit into the ground. I looked at the ground after the dust had cleared to see a medium sized crater. I looked back at the arrows. I hadn't seen those arrows in a long time and in such a stream of arrows before.

There was that and then there was that someone who yelled those two words to us or maybe just to me. I finally looked to see some pikmin running towards us with hefty looking bow that he was carrying on his back and he certainly was larger than the average pikmin but even then a bow that size would be too heavy to carry especially with the arrows involved. It was one of those siege bows and he could still move quickly with that thing on his back. He stopped right in front of us and I noticed that his color was of that of what desert sand is colored as. His eyes were normal at least. There was something familiar about him.

"I didn't realize that you two were there," he said apologetically as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

I stared at him for a minute or two and then realized that this was someone that I definitely knew but how could this someone be alive.

"Wait a minute," Isaac said with a joyful tone as he pointed a finger at this pikmin. "I know who you are."

"You do?" the pikmin asked confused.

Isaac turned towards me and then turns his hand palm up with the tips of his fingers facing the strange pikmin.

"Hey Aura. I know who this guy is, it's Tim," Isaac said enthusiastically.

I blinked as I looked at the pikmin again. I finally recognized him. It was Tim.

"How is that pikmin, Tim?" I asked Isaac with a confused look on my face. "Ain't he supposed to be dead after all of this time?"

Tim waves at me.

"It is Tim."

Tim waves again.

"There isn't anyone else with his looks as far as we know."

I stared at Tim for another few seconds before turning back to look at Isaac. I turned my attention back to the sand-colored pikmin finally.

"How are yo-" I began to ask but Tim interrupted me.

"I'm just am. I'm not too sure of it, myself. I came upon a gem that gave immortality to the one who picks it up and then it turns to dust quickly after that" Tim explained nonchalantly.

Tim looked at the both of us as if he finally recognized us.

"Are you two, Isaac and Aura?" Tim asked us politely.

"Yes, we are."

I noticed Isaac glancing at me when I had spoken to Tim.

"It's been a long time. How-."

"It's a long story. We became immortal via our own methods."

"I'm so glad to finally bump back up with you two again."

I watched as Isaac and Tim bumped fists with each other. I chuckled a little at this. It was fun to meet back up with old friends and Tim, short for Timballisto, was one of them. All of us had sat down for time being just talking and catching up. I was rather impressed with Tim and his tales. Tim asked us if he could tag along with us. I knew that Isaac would let him come and so I went along with that decision. I told Tim that he could come along. We were now off again on our journey.

Yep, I definitely stole that name from Mossflower (from the Redwall series)...

Zaliss Log

I had opted not to go through the Cascading Plains in the morning. My decision added a few more days onto the traveling time but it had been worth it. We were well past the Cascading Plains and were nearing the area where the Wisetalon tribe was. I had sent out several of my sentinels but they haven't returned in several hours.

There is something amiss here. I looked around seeing that we were close by to an extremely hilly and dry region that seemed to have multiple holes across the ground. I had a bad feeling about this place. I continued walking but kept my senses about me. I looked to my left, as I heard someone or something running towards me, and I saw one of my sentinels.

This sentinel was one of the younger ones and he was nothing special I saw the tribal markings on his cheek and knew that he was one of ours. I stopped completely as I watched him get closer and closer. He seemed quite disturbed for some reason. This ripmin was supposed to have a partner with him. I wondered how and why they were separated from each other. The ripmin stopped in front of me and I saw his eyes. I could just tell from his constantly shifting eyes that he was worried about something.

"Report" I commanded sternly.

The sentinel shook a little as he collected himself. He straightened his body out and looked like he calmed down.

"We were caught by surprise. No way to win...partner got killed, told me to warn...it was Wisetalon...under" he said giving his report to me but as he related the part about his partner, he stuttered with the words.

I could clearly see that he was afraid. I tried to get him to speak more but he wouldn't talk anymore. He fell over a second later and I saw a dart in his back. I looked around at the various holes all over the place. I turned my attention away from the holes and checked on the sentinel and found that he was quite dead.

I didn't know what he meant about under. It could have been the Wisetalon tribe like he said or maybe it wasn't. I didn't want to find out.

These holes must lead underground. The dart that was in this young sentinel's back had to be dipped in poison. I looked to my right to see Mimoza coming towards me. She dropped down in front of the dead ripmin body.

"This young one will be honored by being buried" she said respectively as she eyed the young sentinel.

Mimoza turns towards me and a frown appears on her face.

"I know barely anything about this poison. The two things that I know is that it is a rare one and I wouldn't know how to cure any ripmin inflicted with it" she said with a deadly serious tone. "If you get hit then you're dead."

"This young one told me that the Wisetalon were underground" I said and then told her the rest of what the sentinel told me. "

She scratches her chin with a claw as she ponders my words for a few moments.

"Underground, they usually don't do that. It's not a part of their..." she said thoughtfully and then stopped.

I saw this look of fear on her face as if she realized something. She looks around at the holes around us in this hilly place.

"What's wrong?" I asked her quietly.

"I forgot entirely about this place. It's easy to forget but this is where they live" she told me quickly as she shook with fear.

"What are you talking about, Mimoza?"

"They are a feral bunch of beings that haven't seen the light of day in a long time. I thought they were only a legend but they're real. These holes lead to their dwellings."

She looked around again and then nodded her head.

"They're the Shadow Ones" she said quietly. "Don't move from your spot. They're watching us now."

I stayed right there as still as a statue as I heard a multitude of different talons digging into the soft dirt nearby. This was bad. This was really bad. I turned quietly around to look at the others. They were shifting around not too sure what was going on. I signaled them to stay exactly where they are. I could see not a sign of the feral ones or whatever Mimoza had called them. I had heard legends about them but nothing more than that.

End Log

Yep....

Zaliss's tribe went around the Cascading Plains days before Demetri got there.

I did have something else that was going to happen but well this sprung into my mind and I went with it. Yeah, these "shadow ones" (until I find a better name for them) are completely feral ripmin that have survived the extermination of their race by hiding underground. They became feral after not having any contact with the outside world for an extremely long time. They will eat even their own kind. Zaliss and his tribe have stepped onto a wasp's nest (metaphorically speaking).

I'm not going to finish Zaliss or his tribe off that easily.

No ripmin or pikmin knows about the "shadow ones" still being alive after all this time. This would include even Keijo (though he has heard about the stories told about them)....

Mimoza is quick at noticing others.

Ryuzu Log[]

I stared up at the sky on top of a rock as I was pretty much free of anything that required me to oversee for the time being. Our tribe hasn't moved a bit after moving here. My sentinels had reported a day before that the Scareye tribe was coming in this direction. If I had to guess then they would probably go through the Cascading Plains, there were dangerous lands to the north of the plains, and well they wouldn't dare go through the Ceremonial Testing Grounds. I didn't know what Zaliss would do and my head seer was having trouble seeing what might happen to them. The lands up north were pretty dangerous. I took another step when I felt a very familiar presence. It was Dusk's. I swiftly turned around and grinned.

"What brings you here, Dusk?" I asked sternly.

"No respect for your ancestor, Ryuzu. I'm shocked!" Dusk said with a voice dripping with irony.

"I might have treated you with more respect if you didn’t come so suddenly without notice, ancestor" I said quite irritated with him.

"Should have done that, aye better make note of that."

"Now I want you to answer my first question" I demanded fiercely.

I couldn't see him but I knew that he could see me and I could sense his presence. He might be behind me but he liked playing these games. I was more aware of him then others who he met with. It just seemed to be that way. I focused on not looking at him.

"I came to bring you news."

I heard his voice coming to my side but I didn't really care. I jumped down from the rock and started heading back towards my tribe's location. I walked by a massive tree. I looked up at the branches. The times that I stayed here, the tree was always lush, looked alive, and always in bloom. I stopped there as I put my claws on the tree. Dusk's presence was still nearby to me.

"I was checking on the route of the Scareye tribe. Zaliss chose not to move through the Cascading Plains. He might have been a little antsy about going through there and well I wouldn't blame him for going around up and around Cascading Plains" Dusk said truthfully as he spoke next to my ear.

I stood there stunned as I heard what I didn't want to hear. I did want to have Zaliss stop at some point but definitely not like this. There were some in my tribe that saw Zaliss as merely some warmonger stirring up the careful balance of our separate tribes. My opinion on Zaliss was different. The information that I got from his battles is that he was trying not to throw all of us into chaos but I wasn't sure exactly what he aimed to do when he had all tribes under him. I wasn't going to let him die.

"Hurry up, my kin. The land will devour them soon!"

It was with those last words that Dusk's presence entirely disappeared. I couldn't sense him anymore. I hurried back to the tribal grounds. I would gather up an advance party. A quick strike force was needed. I had the exact ripmin in mind for this job as they would be best against whatever there was in the badlands. I quickly came into the tribal grounds. I searched throughout the large area that we had sent up camp at. I had over the next several minutes picked out the members for my advanced party. I looked at each one of them before we started our little mission.

Most of them were from a specially created group that I had started but the others were from the regular groups. I needed all of their expertise. I had exactly twenty members for this party. There were two magic users, my head seer, two of my best sentinels, two shadows, one cultist, and the other twelve were of that specially created group of mine. I went over the plan with them as usual with short words and a few gestures as they usually got my plan from those instead of long drawn out explanations. They ran off and I ran behind them.

“Do you think it wise to help the enemy?” my head seer asked concerned as she turned her head to look at me.

“Is it not true that if you help your enemy then you can face the enemy at their full strength later?” I countered thoughtfully. “Ripmin are creatures of conflict after all.”

“If you attacked your enemy when he was distracted and not at his full strength then couldn’t you have an easier time at defeating him?” she countered with a question.

I silently cursed to myself as she had me on that one. I always had these troubles with my head seer. She was older than I and had more experience. I may be smarter than all the ripmin ever born but that doesn’t compare to actual experience. My party and I headed off into the distance crossing over into the badlands.

End Log

Ryuzu is on the move with twenty of her tribe members. I'll get to the next log with the Ripmin when I decide to. She's a leader who is very lax in regards to the tribal rules that she has set forth and seems to make herself a target quite often by going out alone without anyone knowing. This has pretty much lead to all the deaths of anyone trying to kill her and take her position as leader of the tribe. She ain't no chump and that's for sure. She has a belief that when you cross blades (or claws in her case) with someone then you can tell a lot about that someone.

I have a tiny battle planned between these "ferals" and the "non-ferals". It's not going to last for very long. The truth is that the "feral" outnumber the ripmin involved...

~Demetri~

I realized at this point, I myself was running out of power fast and my dark energy wasn't serving very well. Meanwhile, my quarry wouldn't be running out of energy anytime soon if at all given our location. I didn't have any time for cloning or reviving this time, I was going to grab what I wanted out of here and then beat a hasty retreat. No sense trying to kill any elemental on their home turf like this and this guy wouldn't be giving me the time to give him someone else to fight. Escape would be hard but not I figured not as much as trying to fight him.
Zack flexed, apparently loosening himself up.
"Alright... so you got one on me there. That all you got though?"
I dropped into the ground; shadow-melding wasn't something I did too often as it felt a little too sneaky even for me. I liked to have a bit more... presence usually but in this case, I felt I needed to make an exception. I rushed over to Firus's unconscious form and engulfed it in my own energies.
"This useless piece of charcoal is about to serve his final purpose for me." I growled, through his mouth as I picked him up off the ground.
Zack smirked.
"Yanno, electricity beats fire. Wanna know how?" Zack arched an eyebrow as he asked this.
"Frankly, I don't care electro-boy." I hissed and sent a wave of flames blazing at him.
Zack laughed and flew into the air again.
"Aw c'mon, the science and everything is so cool. I wanna tell ya!" Zack said almost like a little kid being withheld from a toy.
His minor pout then turned into a grin and suddenly, electricity flashed and formed a dense barrier before the wave of fire. The fire died in front of the wall, only a minor amount of it actually hitting.
"Didya know lightning fries the oxygen in the air enough that it turns it into ozone?" the elemental chuckled.
"Turn this into ozone, geek!" I retorted and hurtled myself and Firus's body at him.
Zack was clearly surprised by this tactic because he got defensive.
I jumped out of Firus's body a moment before it hit Zack head-on. All the gems except one joined in the impact.
By my will, the fire gem in Firus broke up his body and in a split second, Zack was encased in a ball of fire, all tangled up in water, light, ice, and wind. I knew that wouldn't hold for long so I didn't waste any time watching and rushed straight at the electric temple before me.
As soon as I felt the power I was looking for, I pulled out the only other gem I had kept with me besides the onyx: the topaz and focused hard. I was racing a clock that even I wasn't sure when it'd hit zero.
Fortune was with me though; you see, electricity is one of those elements that is technically already energy so I didn't need to generate a clone in the first place. All I needed was the right spirit. And wouldn't you know, it was one of the first that was in-sight.
"You're comin' with me." I breathed, using a mixture of the electric topaz's power blended with my dark power to draw him in. He fought, who wouldn't have? But my attack upon it was unexpected and it didn't manage to put up enough of a fight to stall me.
No sooner had I captured what I wanted, then I felt an earth-jarring *KRACK-BOOOOOOOOM!!*
A wave of sonic force hit me almost immediately after and bits of stone were rocked loose from the temple ceiling.
"Get. Your. Flithy. Hide. Out. of. that. Temple!" Zack's voice was enraged and that in itself is an understatement.
I glanced back and saw the elemental, electricity was pulsing along every centimeter of skin and his eyes were glowing with his power. My smile from collecting my goal faltered... getting out of here might be a littttle hard...
~End Log~

Uh... yeah... Zack's angry... you wouldn't like him when he's angry.

~Ritzoa~

We had moved a long ways... it was probably ideal given the war that was coming. I couldn't ever be sure of where was safe though... unless I wanted to try the Valley of Serenity... I'd heard about there easily enough. But again, never knew what might happen and if the rumors about that valley were true enough, I wanted to at least be able to defend if something could attack there.
As it was, we had moved to the northwest. It was quickly looking like a jungle in the area.
"Hmm... the mist's are heavy here..." my thoughts as I looked over the landscape were disrupted by Shanon who came up behind me, commenting vaguely.
Her disobedient from earilier came back to me.
"Why can't you ever stay where I tell you to?" I hissed at her.
She gave me the same smile she had given me back at the fight. It wasn't such a bad implication in these circumstances but it still irritated me somewhat that she didn't seem to care. Then I had to bring up the other thing that got to me:
"And how many times have I warned you about that pet name?"
Shanon just continued smiling before answering.
"You really should relax sometime Ritzoa... the rest of us are tougher than you seem to take us for. We can defend just as well as you."
I huffed out a breath, realizing she was giving me a gentle and very subtle rebuke... it never does for one to be a hypocrite. That and I was thinking myself higher than everyone else...
"Alright Shanon. I understand." I conceded, my scowl lessening. She nodded her approval.

Runa Log

I had looked around trying to spot something or someone out in the plains but I somehow knew that "my mom" wasn't here. Kurt was definitely something that I hadn't expected in this realm. I was impressed by him and well he was a kitsune too. No, I couldn't really think about that. I knew that my mission would come to an end some day. I couldn't allow myself to form any deep connections with anyone in this dimension. It would only hurt that much more when I had to part with those that I made those deep connections with. I kept these thoughts at the back of my mind as I focused more on acting the role of the child. He hadn't caught on. That's good. I was always childish at heart.

It was the playing the older-than-I-am-role that was hard. No one believes you are that old with that number of tails. It has to be that number of tails or you're a fraud. I wasn't always sure on how many tails a kitsune has for their age. It was confusing at best. I hopped onto a rock and then hopped down from it. I looked around taking in the sights and smelling the air. It was so different and new to me.

I had to look at it. Kurt was following me as he wanted me to lead the way. I whistled a little tune as I walked forward taking each step carefully as we were arriving in more rocky territory. I spotted something off in the distance. It was a pile of bones. I dashed off in a hurry and stopped before them. I sniffed them and shook my head. It wasn't her. I looked around trying to figure out where she was. I couldn't find her scent anywhere and yet there was something else that I could smell. I smelled something wretched and not at all natural. My mind clicked as I remembered what Eronza told me.

"Me smell searched being" I said gleefully.

Kurt asked me something along the lines if it was "my mom" or maybe he didn't. I wasn't really sure.

"Not mom. Smells like belches from non-living things" I replied as I looked around.

I spotted something in the distance again and ran off as fast as my paws could take me. I stopped there. I couldn't feel any heat radiating off of it. I touched it with my paw. It was freezing cold. I pulled my paw back almost immediately. I started to growl in response and backed away from it. I could play the role well. I stopped growling as it wasn't following me and I was being silly. I looked around again as I saw something shiny nearby. My curiosity got the better of me and I ran off again. I stopped before the shiny thing and noticed that it was actually a door, a metallic door of some sort. I looked around the door noticing that this door was built into the side of a rock. I poked it once and then twice. I looked at the door closely before noticing a small opening in the door way. It was probably big enough for Kurt to go through.

"I smell mom" I said brightly before dashing through the small opening at the corner of the door.

Heh...

I was going to get to this part later but I decided to do it now. Runa has gone through some sort of opening in the metal door. I'll reveal more later about what sort of place/building that the two have gotten into if Kurt comes along...

Runa is lying about that part about saying that she smells mom. It's more or less a ploy to get Kurt to go after her.

---

~Kurt~

Based on how my searching traveling companion was acting as we proceeded, it would've surprised me if she had any more than three tails. She acted so young and I could tell she was trying to act more grown up at times. Other times though, Runa just let her childishness loose and went around sniffing and half-playing with various things.
I was only along for the ride here, an observer, a spectator. She had me curious and I still was getting a feeling there was just as much to her as myself.
Both of us were more than we let on outwardly.

She found some metal object at some point apparently and found it was a door to somewhere. She then said she could sense her mom that way and disappeared inside.
Well, I had agreed to come along. Nonetheless, I didn't go in without being ready for anything. I did go in, but I kept alert.
~End Log~

A little note for you Shadow:
Kurt's going to be a bit more on-edge and cautious. Especially if this location is mechnical (like one of Keijo's labs or something like that). Few things unnerve someone like Kurt quite like the unknown. A grass-land area, he's at least seen it from his forest and there's still plant-life. The inside of a mechnical place or somewhere where plants wouldn't normally grow though... yeah, he's going to be uneasy.

I would assume that would be the case, Kirby.

Runa Log

I looked around as I proceeded down what was apparently a hallway. Surprisingly, there was a fine but thin layer of dirt along the floor here. The lights were still on and I could hear a small but constant hum. I looked around quickly with each and every step trying to get a feel for this place as my curiosity was at its peak. I wondered how Eronza was doing and I wondered if she was actually here. I may be her assistant and personal companion but I wasn't useless. I stopped as I passed by a door. I looked at it and leaped at the handle. I pull myself up as I look through the window. I could barely see through as what appeared to be ice coated the window. I let go and landed on all fours. This room wasn't what I was looking for. I could tell just from the blurred image that this one was empty.

The hallway from here leads further downwards. I saw a bit of dirt fall from cracks in the ceiling and yet the ceiling still held. I dashed down and immediately turned the corner to run smack-dab into another door. There was no handle here. I paced back and forth in front of the door. I reached and held out a small vial with a shiny green liquid inside in my paw. I stared at it for a few seconds. I looked back up at the door and then at the vial. I looked away from the door as I noticed that this was the only way that I could go. I was about to toss it when I accidentally tripped. The door opened in that moment. I managed to catch onto the vial and I put it back where I stored the rest of my stuff. The

I blinked in surprise and then hurried through it. I found myself in another hallway. There was a door in front of me and on my right and left were pathways leading further down. I saw that the pathway to my right was blocked off completely by a pile of rocks and dirt up to the ceiling. The other pathway was in state of despair as well. I could see holes in the floor. The ramp looked like it wasn't supported very well.

I had some thoughts on this matter. I know that my footsteps were partially silenced by the dirt on the metal floor. The door in front of me slides over revealing the room within. The room was completely dark unlike the rest of the place so far. I strode into the room and looked around as I started looking at everything in the room from what I could see. I stopped immediately as I bumped into something. The lights flashed on in the room and I found myself staring at the face of some creature.

I swatted at it twice and then backed up to get a better look at it. I saw a body of a gray pikmin with one eye and strange markings across the body. I didn't know what this pikmin was doing here. I saw that the body of the pikmin was hanged up on the ceiling by some contraption. This pikmin wasn't moving and its eye was entirely white. I looked around noticing all the other gray pikmin with one lifeless eye. Numerous bodies hanging by hooks and this room seemed much bigger than I originally had seen it.

I looked up to see even more bodies hanging by hooks. I had this horrible feeling in my gut. I needed to get out of here. I took two steps back from the corpse and then dashed through to the other side of the room and hid underneath a table that was conveniently there. I stayed there for a few minutes, my body shaking, and not wanting to do with anything else in the world. I was only half-convinced to come out when Kurt told me that they were just corpses. It was easy for him to say that. I had seen these corpses before. They weren't friendly creatures and the last time that I saw them was back in our own dimension though in a different sort of body. I had to fight a few back from where I came from. These corpses here weren't those creatures yet and so I was safe. Kurt though seemed much more on edge than before. I looked at the door that was close by.

I looked back at the room that we were in and saw something that I hadn't before. There were clear pipes built into the walls and now I felt the freezing air that I hadn’t been thinking about. It wasn’t exactly coming from this room but more like it was blowing into this room. I spotted a few vents against the nearest perpendicular wall. The freezing air was coming from below this room. There had to be a way down. The voice of reason within my head told me to get out of this place but the urge to explore was far greater.

I wanted to find out what this facility was for. I noticed that the door near to me was already opened and I realized something else that the lights weren't on in what I could barely tell was another hallway. I walked through it and looked before left and right. There weren't any doors nearby and the only ways were either on my left or right. These ramps leading down were in far better condition than the ones on the other side of the room that I had exited. I turned and started heading down the descending ramp on my left.

"Need to see. Need to see. Come."

End Log

Runa is well in a way frightened by those corpses. She won't talk about them at all. The mere sight of any of those corpses is enough for her to bolt for the nearest thing to hide under. This facility is a bit different from the others but it is also not the same. It's not one of his labs though. It's more of a holding facility.

She's trying to hide the fact that she's afraid through being curious about something else.

Yeah, there's a thin layer of dirt in some places within this facility. And yes...

There's freezing air coming from somewhere within the facility. If I wanted to...

I could draw a map but that would take too much time....

I do have a sort of "mental map" of the place.

I may have not described that one room very well but there's an upper floor to that room but the freezing air has caused ice to form over that window from the inside. That's why Runa couldn't see into it.

These doors that are within this facility are somewhat more of the motion-sensitive type before Keijo was all protective and whatnot. There's still a bit of security involved but apparently that's been turned off. I have a few ideas of what I want to happen next but until that point comes...

You'll just have to wait and see.

~Kurt~

I hadn't seen a place like this before...

My fur was trying to stand on end as I walked further in. I tried to calm down a bit but the lack of life of any sort that I could see wasn't helping... there wasn't so much as a plant here or something to indicate nature. This place reeked of death. I found Runa mainly by following her footprints in the layer of dust on the floor. I found it a touch odd when I found Runa cowering from what were clearly corpses... sure they were weird and didn't look like normal pikmin but still... As she insisted on going further down, I decided to try and at least blend in more and transformed into my pikmin disguise. I'd probably still stand out but at least I wouldn't stick out quite as much as a kitsune clearly outside its turf. I then followed Runa downwards. My heart was racing but I did what I could to keep up a charade of calmness. I wasn't panicking mind you, but I certainly wasn't relaxed either. ~End Log~

And that will probably do for now. --- Black Scythe

"Ahahaha!" I cackled maniacally, tearing through a seemingly endless wave of Gearteeth. This place must have been pumping them out by the dozens to keep this many of them in reserve. That or it had been running for a while. Either way, it was keeping me pretty well occupied.

Alas, all good things come to an end, and with one final slice to bisect a Geartooth, I found myself alone amidst a pile of scrap metal. As the battle haze lifted I gazed about the room. This was deeper within the base, a production plant. I could see yet more Gearteeth being pieced together on the assembly line. Right, well, enough of that. I smashed apart the arms using my tails, then sliced the line itself to pieces. Good.

"And yet you are ever the pain in my ass, aren't you," a heavily mechanized voice said over the intercoms. I pegged one with a fireball on instinct. That voice rubbed me the wrong way.

"Oh, did I strike a nerve somewhere? Head down the hallway to your left and take the second door, let's see if I can hit a few more."

I snarled loudly but followed the voice's instructions nonetheless. Mostly followed them. I tore the first door out of its frame and blasted the interior - a series of machines - with a bolt of lightning.

"You really must get that temper under control," the voice mocked. I narrowed my eyes and continued to the second door, and likewise ripped it down. Standing in the room on the other side was-

"Omicron?" I barked. The yellow, mechanized Pikmin, attached to the wall via a series of cords, laughed in return.

"No, of course not you idiot. Though I suppose I have to lend him some props for the idea. Do tell... what was your name, Black Scythe, yes? How exactly DID you kill me, anyway? I'm curious."

I blinked. Killed? In a snap it made sense.

"Gear," I snarled at the machine, advancing menacingly.

"Oh, so you're not as slow as you look, are you? Hah, yes. I can only assume I've died, what with this being activated. I uploaded my memories to a few machines, scattered here and there. Must have been a few years back by now. So, about my death?"

"Like this," I growled, and stabbed through the machine with my claws, in just the same way I'd killed Gear himself.

"Good t-t-t-to knooooow," it replied cheerfully, even as it lost power. I pulled the mechanical doll from the wires connecting it to the wall and tore it to pieces. The base instantly lost all power. My two glowing eyes glared out through the darkness.

"Does anyone know how to STAY dead anymore?"

6.27.11 to 7.3.11[]

~Demetri~

I couldn't remember too many times I'd been in a tight spot like this. Zack generated a tight ball of electricity and hurled at me, hard. I dodged the attack and raised a dark shield as the explosion let off a mass of light. I doubted the explosion itself was what was going to hurt; it was all the light I was worried about. "You. Are. Done!" Zack yelled, throwing more explosions of electricity at me. I deflected some of the attacks, which drained my already-low strength and most, I just avoided as well, shielding myself from the light. Then Zack called up electricity from the building itself and attempted to plug me in, so to speak. That is to say: he started having several streams of electricity from the building start trying to connect to me and fry me alive. I brandished the topaz and generated a shield. Had it been the single concentrated bolt, the gem wouldn't have held long. But these were unfocused individual streams and the gem held considerably longer. A sum tended to be a greater threat than its parts divided. However, Zack wasn't going to tire here and I was rapidly going to run out of options and if it came to that point, I would be making myself vulnerable... I needed to get past electro-boy, recollect the gems around the area (a task that would take mere seconds to do), and then escape with all haste. The first step was the one that was proving hard at the moment. "C'mon Fry! You're not getting past my defenses with those kinds of attacks!" I taunted. Unfortunately, Zack seemed to know past his rage that I was trying to goad him into getting closer and drawing him away from the exit. Rather than trying to grab me and fry me that way, he instead focused the electrical streams so they started becoming one. "Won't they? You're sure about that, Shady!?" Zack said menacingly. Ugh, I hate a smart opponent sometimes... the gem's power-drain quickly sped up. I quickly focused and, hoping the energy would cooperate, I shoved a blast of dark energy at Zack. The relatively short-range of the attack helped with accuracy and though the hit wasn't spot-on, Zack was still blasted backwards by the explosion. I quickly darted outside of the temple after him. Zack attempted to blast me back into the temple but I absorbed the electrical blast that struck and rolled to the side, away from the temple. I swept up one of the gems and moved to collect the others. Zack's furious assault of electrical explosion, lightning bolts, and streams of flowing electricity chased me around the plains. I kept low to the ground and within seconds, had all the gems with me... Now for the part I wasn't sure how I was going to end: escape. ~End Log~

Yeah... running from the elemental of electricity is... hard to say the least.

Well, that didn't end so well... *Cut back to big ball of violence* Anyways, we are searching the Wistful Wild for anything we can find.

"DIE!" Seraph shouted amidst mad cackling. His initial rush consisted of claws, laser blades, and some variety of... blur, too fast to be seen. They whipped out of his body irregularly.

Strosek weathered his assault, parrying and blocking everything he threw while slowly giving ground, before the Book of the Silver Cross abruptly ended the engagement with a burst of energy to Seraph's face. Hissing, the Fallen retreated, releasing a number of insect-like drones from his body. Said drones quickly occupied the air, firing bizarre, black-and-red beams that Strosek suddenly found himself hard pressed to dodge.

Remaining as silent as they possibly could at the edge of Seraph's field of darkness, Sloth and Delta watched the back-and-forth intently, doing everything in their power to NOT catch the notice of the two psychotically powerful mutants. Sloth was pretty strong in his own right, and Delta could probably take care of himself, but hell, why deal with the problem when you can sit back and let the problem deal with itself? Or so Sloth had convinced Delta. He was sure that would be shot to pieces when Omicron got back. Meanwhile he amused himself by counting backwards from infinity using only prime numbers.

Back with the action, Strosek found that any attempt at retreat - say, to get room to unleash Divide Zero - was quickly shut down by the entire environment being prone to stab at him with shadows, excluding any kind of attack requiring setup. That and the homicidal... thing that wasn't exactly keen to cooperate. Finding himself with very little room to so much as think, he uttered a single word of power, to which the Book unleashed a massive wave of light.

Seraph didn't exactly take kindly to this, hissing angrily and melding into the shadows, moving into hiding behind any kind of solid object. When the light died down, his assault was renewed with vigor on the Book itself, and promptly deflected by the Book's rather powerful shielding spells. Seraph himself attacked Strosek from behind, clawing at his back and getting the EC-Divider through his torso for his trouble.

Feeling the blade stick in something solid, Strosek smirked. "Zero Blade," he croaked, punching Seraph into the ground with a blade of energy. Screeching in some ungodly tongue, Seraph split in half... whereupon both sides regrew into whole beings.

"... Oh, cool. I didn't know we could do that," both muttered at once. Both promptly set themselves upon Strosek.

Over at the sides, Delta began praying to any merciful god listening. Sloth continued counting backwards from infinity because he's lazy.

Runa Log

I stopped suddenly as I barely just entered the last room in this facility. I looked around in wonder as I saw icicles everywhere along the ground, the walls, and the ceiling. The ceiling was rather low in this room. I could even see some icicles forming elsewhere in the room from what I could see. The lights were on in this room. It was a tiny bit weird since most of the hallways had lights but they were off. The rooms after the room of corpses had their lights off. I shook my head as it had to be just a coincidence that the lights were off between this room and that room. I noticed that there was some space to move between the icicles and a turn. This room also seemed to be a little small but that couldn't be. It just had to be the way that I couldn't see anything here. I noticed that I was shivering from the intense cold air. I looked back at Kurt before dashing into the midst of the icicles.

I took several turns within this maze and found myself at a dead-end. I wanted to know what was at the center. I turned around and started moving along the paths and taking different paths. I found myself hitting more and more dead-ends. I came into the center of the maze of icicles and looked curiously around. This room was definitely a lot larger than it looked from the entrance. I caught something at the edge of my vision and turned quickly to look. I found myself staring at a red ball lying on the floor. I looked at it closely to see it sparkle. This red ball was made out of ice. I spun around looking at all the icicles and then stopped to look at the ice ball. I crept closer towards it and then poked at it. It didn't move. I poked it again and once again it didn't move. I was about to leave it there when it broke apart and reformed into that of a pikmin. The pikmin turned to look at me. It mumbled something before the ice shifted in its face.

"Someone here?" the ice pikmin asked coldly.

This creature or thing sounded like a female. The pikmin was still staring at me.

"I'm here" I said cheerfully.

"You're here?" she asked deranged as she twisted her head entirely around.

She was making me very uneasy with how the ice that made up her body was constantly moving. I saw the ice shards around her as they popped into appearance. I crawled towards her slowly and smelled something. It was that same blasted odor. I snarled at her. She wasn't worried about me at all.

"Eh, snarling is boring" she said uncaring about my current attitude.

I stopped snarling as she said that. I couldn't faze her. I heard Kurt come in.

"Another kitsune like I haven't seen those by the handful...boring!"

"Who are you?" I asked her as I tried to not be irritated by her behavior.

"Nu."

Nu untwisted her neck around and grinned as she saw my face.

"You probably came in here because it was one of Keijo's places. It's been in a state of disrepair for I don't know how long. It's been a long time since I was stuck in this room. The only things keeping me going were freezing and unfreezing those two white pikmin until they died last year. They were fun while they lasted though. I played with a kitsune that got in here about six months before. The kitsune died after I had frozen it. It was surprised by what I did or something along those lines. I'm bored out of my mind" she said quickly as she continued to look away from us.

She wasn't quite right in the head but being isolated can cause one to go insane if they cannot escape from that isolation. The only recent fun that she had was scaring others and then killing them. If killing someone was defined as fun then she was definitely messed up. I looked to my left to see a kitsune skeleton stuck inside of an icicle.

"Why are you even here in the first place?" I asked her curiously. "Were you created by that being?"

"Not created. Keijo wasn't involved in my creation. I was born elsewhere. Keijo took me in after he promised me that he would revive my kind after he observed me for a year or so. He told me it was for the experiments that would revive my kind. It was after a year that he abandoned this place and I never saw him again. These pikmin were apparently after him. They tried to attack me as they called me one of his horrid experiments" Nu answered as she glared at the two of us.

"You must be lonely. Why don't you come with us?" I replied cheerfully. "Bad for one to be isolated from others, that's what my mom said."

"No!" she cried out as she held one a red ice shard in her hand. "Leave me alone! Leave now!"

I dodged out of the way quickly as she threw the ice shard at me. I felt something nick my cheek. I raised one of my paws and felt something wet forming there. I looked at the ice shard to see that it was stuck deep in the floor with only a tiny part of it sticking out. It was pretty sharp. The temperature of the room took a sudden drop. The air became much colder than before. The giant icicles behind Nu broke apart revealing a straight pathway to a different exit from this room. I looked to see the frame of a door but no actual door there. It was gone. I hurried past Nu as I watched her carefully. I didn't trust her at all. I slowed down after I exited the room and found myself heading up a ramp. I saw Kurt was following right behind me.

"I guess mom’s not here."

End Log

I didn't know what to do next so I decided to finish it up by having the two meet Nu. If you want to interject anything within that whole conversation then feel free to do so. Nu is very antisocial.

--- ~Kurt~

After the encounter with the ice-min, I got decidedly more uneasy. Quite a bit more... When Runa next glanced at me, I had four tails showing; the tendrils of energy were a little cramped in the space but I did what I could in my alert state to keep them at a reasonable size. I swear, anything hostile down here and I might go with seven tails out of sheer stress. I was keeping absolute control though and wouldn't be showing my full power unless the situation definitely called for it. Runa didn't respond to what she saw but simply turned and continued deeper. I wasn't smelling much else down here but death, decay, and what was likely that ice-min back there. I would've liked to suggest we find another way out (one that didn't cross paths with that red ice-min) but Runa was going her own route and judging from her personality, I wouldn't be changing that any time soon. ~End Log~

No sense aggravating Nu anymore than she already is. I suppose Kurt tends to be quiet when it comes to anyone who makes him uneasy or nervous (the evidence of Nu's homicidal tendencies is just one thing about her that made Kurt uneasy, and with good reason). Anyways, that's all I have to add for now there. I trust that Nu just saw through Kurt's little disguise (it is kinda obvious after all).

Clunk.

I looked up from the rather nice bulborb steak I'd pilfered from somewhere in the city.

"Sounds like the Supreme Warboss is back," I noted aloud. Sure enough, he came barging into the room, smelling of motor oil and looking rather aggravated.

"Damn you reek. What'd you get up to?" I asked casually. Somewhat disturbingly, only his left eye turned to look at me; the right eye stared forward like it hadn't noticed.

"Gear," he hissed. He declined to elaborate, instead stalking off into his hidey-hole of a room. The Epsilon pair stared at the door as he slammed it behind him.

"Anyone else get the feeling that our leader is a bit... unhinged?" Trombe piped in, speaking what we were all feeling.

"I think that's putting it lightly," Epsilon sighed. "I'll see if I can talk to him," he continued, walking up to the door and opening it. He received a very enraged roar in response and quickly shut the door.

"Or not."

I gazed back at my steak, shrugged, and dug back in. Take a bit more than our leader's crazy eyes to put me off my appetite.

Oi, Black Scythe had a mind to begin with? That's news... *End Snark*

~Kazul~

The fight started to die down. Everyone was now either too injured to continue or we were getting bored from the increasing lack of challenge in the fight. One last black attempted to assault me (others had massed the armored one and he had lost track of me). I just sent my elbow into the guy's face and walked off as the last remainents of the fight dragged on with the fight. I don't get to kill some more soon I might start multilating just to relieve some of this boredom. ~End Log~

Thought I'd end that really briefly.

7.4.11 to 7.10.11[]

Keijo Log

I stared up at the map of the world. This world was one filled with conflict. It was a world that was changing by the hands of the inhabitants. These changes created war and war created change. I hated how I could barely do anything in my previous years to stop this never-ending cycle. I smiled as I twisted around in the chair and held up a high-tech remote in my hand. It was today that I would find out if I could stop it after countless years of research. I switched on the holographic screen projector and watched as Goggles appeared there. I noticed that he was agitated but didn't say anything about that. I was going by a different approach today.

"It's testing day" I said cheerfully as I twirled the remote in my hand. "I'll let you pick the target."

He reached up with one of his hands and stroked his chin as a small holographic map appeared by his head. He turned to look at it and then after a few seconds he turned back to me.

"I pick this one" he said grinning as he poked one part of the holographic map with his finger.

I turned back to my map and saw glaring red dot on it. It was a city on the northwestern side of the main continent. I remembered this place barely. It was one of those cities stuck up there in the snow lands.

"You want to hit the city of Archen?" I asked as I turned around to face him again and he gave me a thumbs up. "Archen, it is then."

I twirled around in my chair to face the control console. I swiftly typed in the coordinates and pressed enter. I looked up at the computer. I saw on the screen that the commands were relayed to the satellite. It was only a matter of time before the commands reached the actual invention of mine up there.

"Firing in three minutes!" the computer stated monotonously

The red lights flared on in my base and I grinned wider than before. This was what happened the last time that I did it. I watched a display of the energy dome going up and then leaned back in my chair as I silently counted down to myself. I turned around in my chair for the nth time today and looked at Goggles. Goggles was snapping his fingers as he was waiting for the thing to fire. I looked up at the counter after what seemed like forever. There was only ten seconds left and counting. The energy dome was up. The timer hit zero. I relayed one final command through the console. I watched as the platform fired. The red dot on the map flashed three times and it turned purple.

I flipped a switch and my eyes inside the city switched on. I watched live footage of the city folk stumbling about confused and asking why this was happening to them. Some might have been drinking before this but well I wouldn’t really know. They regained their sense of balance and looked around like nothing was wrong.

My weapon had passed its test with flying colors which was surprising to me. This was the first one to do so. There was time to prepare I got up from my seat and turned around to face Goggles. Goggles was laughing his head off. He was certainly happy. I turned off all the screens and walked off.

I walked through the doors as they opened up and then closed behind me after I crossed over. There was much work to be done. I turned the corner and walked off towards the observatory part of this lab. I had little else to do here and so I needed to relocate again. I pressed a single button on the remote that I was carrying. The countdown begins now…

Introduction log...

~Ivan~

Been a while since I was in the area...
I'd been looking out for things for the organization outside the main-land. Now, with the news I had recieved... I was here to collect something that should've belonged to me.
I had found Nero's body... or rather the grave...
I spared a pleased smile for the grave. At least someone had respect for him...
Now... who took the gun?
More news arrived to me on a note...
Local war with the black pikmin... Nero fought them apparently... city leveled...
The news just keeps getting better and better doesn't it?
This new was also apparently very old.
I'd have to hunt down the one who'd taken the property.
I pulled out my shotgun and just held it at my side as I proceeded.
Let it begin.

I'll think of more as things go on.

I walked along at a leisurely pace not really caring that I was in the middle of nowhere after leaving the Thunderous Plateau area. I had hoped that I went in the right direction but unfortunately not. There was just too much interference with my natural sense of direction. It doesn't help any that I have a tiny bird like creature feeding on the electricity stored within my whips and causing lightning storms to happen every so often. It seems that electricity is just drawn to it. I just hoped that this bird creature doesn't find a tremendous source of electricity anytime soon. I heard that same drumbeat go off in my head again. I stopped and listened to the drumbeat. I looked around and noticed that I was in some desert area. Dart was meanwhile darting around trying to get attention for himself. He was certainly fast since most of the time that I saw him it was just an afterimage created by him in his movements.

"Dusty Desert" Dart answered my unspoken question. "Pretty boring!"

"It's definitely boring. I can see why the original didn't come after that point in time" I said commenting on the general appearance of where I was. "It's more like Dull Desert."

I continued on walking in the same direction that I had been going. There was little else to do here. I just felt like I was being drawn somewhere. It could be to one of the other clones. I just hoped that it wasn't the third one. I hated him. I stopped again and looked my left feeling that one of our kind was north of my position. I turned and then stormed off in that direction with Dart following close behind me.

It's interesting, that's for sure.
For some reason, I think of the Berlin Wall when I read those (yanno what the Berlin Wall was right?)
Depending on the differing views the worshippers there have, Rei (Jade) might be in one of the two halves. The operative word here being "Might".
It's not a sure thing yet until I hear more about this.

I arrived at a town and headed for a bar. If anyone knew where he'd been, they would be at a tavern or bar.
No one paid me much mind when I stepped in. They paid more attention when I fired my pistol at the ceiling, the shot making an ear-piercing *bang*.
"Anyone here have a run in with a white pikmin with blue eyes like mine in the past... week?" I asked the entire establishment. I had taken a moment mid-sentence to contemplate about how long Nero had been dead... I had figured perhaps a week... maybe it was shorter...
Someone opened their mouth and I pointed my shotgun at them.
"Yeah?" I said, expecting some manner of answer.
The guy was too unsettled by my gun though to speak and shut up.
"Oi! 'You're going speak, spit it out already! Or don't open your mouth to begin with!" I said, my temper was running hot as it was as I wanted to quickly get on the trail of the new owner of Three Wishes. The guy stood up:
"What gives you the right to just come storming in 'ere like this?"
*Blam!*
"I'm the one asking questions here," I said bluntly as the guy fell dead to the floor "But to answer yours: this gun here does. Now... anyone got an answer for me?" I glanced around the room.
"I don't know where he is now... but I know who has your friend's gun." someone said behind me, outside.
I turned and leaned on the door, my gun still ready to shoot as I turned to face a blue being followed by a yellow pikmin.
"A white by the name of Claude found him dying and apparently impressed him or something like that. The white finished himself after telling the kid he was entrusting the gun to him."
That had me mildly impressed with the "kid" as this blue called him.
"Spyro, I already fought you so will you just get off my case now?" the blue yelled at the yellow next to him and stomped off, limping from a bruise on his leg.
"Thank you very much..." I said calmly with a little wave to the blue who just seemed to ignore me.
I stepped out of the doorway I was in and considered the new facts...
Alright then... I had the identity of my target... now to find the guy...
Perhaps I wouldn't be blowing the guy's head off with my shotgun...

Thought I'd just get a move-on there.

"Enjoying the show?"

Sloth was a lot faster than he looked, and Delta had a wall of sand protecting him when the second Seraph abruptly decided that they'd had enough watching and should join in the festivities by barraging them with a horde of red needles. Delta's sand defense couldn't quite keep up when Seraph appeared behind him and kicked him toward the fray, though, leaving Sloth to sort out the new threat.

"What a pain in the ass," Sloth grumbled, flicking up the goggle over his eye, revealing the uroboros tattoo on the eyeball beneath.

"Hoo, that's something I didn't know about," Seraph wondered idly. "I muquestion how much use it will be to you, th-" he abruptly cut off, suddenly finding himself on the opposite side of the darkness-enclosed area. Sloth had him by the throat and was squeezing hard enough to elicit a creaking noise from Seraph's metal hull. A swipe of his claws didn't shake him off, but several more slashing and stabbing wounds finally made him back off. Sloth was halfway to the other side of the clearing by the time Seraph was back on his feet.

"Interesting. My files have no record of you being that fast," Seraph mused as his wings shifted into something sleeker. Sloth made no reply, instead opting to clench his raise, raise the spikes on the back of his forearm, and hurl a huge bolt of lightning at him.

Shaking off the residual charge, Seraph vented heat and growled, "I also h-h-had no record of you doing that."

"There's a lot you don't know about me," Sloth said shortly, slumping into a brutish posture. Seraph just grinned.

Barricade

Our next stop is Storm Spire, the city of Yellow Pikmin here in the far east theater. Take this down, and the whole world will have to acknowledge our power. That's where the real battle begins.

A red-painted buggy, sent ahead of the rest of the army, zoomed back toward us, hollers and hoots bellowing from the driver and passenger. It skid around next to me and settled into a more sedate pace as one of the passengers climbed atop it.

"Those guys weren't kidding when they said Black Art was back, it looks like he started the party without us."

I nodded slowly. "What is their current status?" I rumbled.

"There's more of 'em than we thought, but even still they can't take a whole city. And it's not just the Yellow Pikmin either, it's everybody that's left that ain't us."

I scoffed. A meager resistance at best. They can't withstand our power. "Send orders to the artillery crews: Begin bombardments of the city. Everyone else," I paused, taking in eager looks from those around me.

"What are ya waiting for, you ugly mugs! Blood and glory await! SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!" I roared, to thunderous cheers. Those closest to me sped off to join the battle, with those further out revving their engines and taking off after them as they noticed. Troops poured from Gunzack as its main battery shifted into place, and the ground shook as it fired.

"THE SIEGE BEGINS!" roared Black Scythe's voice as his huge, dark form launched from the gargant, off toward the city. As one of the larger tanks passed me by, I hooked a hand onto it and hefted myself aboard.

"This is for everything, eh? Time to show the whole world what we're made of," a small voice uttered nearby. I tilted my head down to spot Epsilon. "There's really no more turning back."

"We'd have it no other way," I rumbled. Epsilon chuckled darkly.

~Spyro~

I overheard the town guard cry out that the Black Pikmin army was on the approach... rapidly.
Ryu heard it too and decided, with his injury from our small tussle to leave the town quickly. Hm.
I decided at least the black pikmin would be more willing to fight for longer.
A few minutes later after Ryu had beaten a hasty retreat from town, there was a loud crash and great dealing if screaming and terror as the fellow I guessed was their leader came barreling through a whole lot of the residents.
Then the guy came directly at me. He had a look of momentary look of confusion when I appeared to vanish just as he struck. He located me and attempted to trap me in place. I jumped clean over his head, deflecting his tail when it attempted to intercept my course. Right now, I was just testing his abilities and he was proving entertaining enough so far although I had second thoughts about fighting him for real... might be a bit much even for me.
Then he whirled and attempted to chop me down the middle. I caught the scythe blade in a classic judo clap. I then noticed the condition of the blade.
"Jeez, this blade is duller than a rock..." I grumbled, looking at the heavily chipped scythe. The black was a bit too stunned I had stopped it to immediately attack again.
"Might be a bit more threatening if you actually bothered to sharpen it!" I accenuated the second word by twisting it around. He whirled with the move and landed on his feet again and attempted to punch me. I was small and agile though and evaded the attack. I might've transformed to better match him but with the other pikmin around... well, I didn't feel I needed to show that side to anyone else at present.
I attempted to get past the black leader's defenses and served up a kick at his stomach.
*Crack!*
I ended up hitting his arm, the bone breaking under the strong impact. I whirled and smacked him over the head with a high, swinging kick. He staggered to the side and spat some teeth, before actually getting interested in the fight.
~End Log~

He is fighting Scythe... and yes, he's quite fast. Please keep in mind that under these circumstances, he's going to be reliant on evading attacks. Spyro doesn't absorb that much damage and I'm aware that Scythe and his cronies can all really dish it out.

Leda Log

I had finished up my last fight and well I was not even hurt in the least. I guess I should have used that other power sooner. I was back in the lobby when I noticed some red pikmin. He wasn't all that unusual but what caught my eye was the mechanical part of his body which I could see was his right arm and a little around that area. I stopped as I stared at it. I saw something flash through my mind and then everything was normal. I was afraid of mechanical creations but why. I set aside my fears as I stopped to check for my next match. I was in the match that I would challenge the bottom of one of the upper tiers. The fights before this one were not very challenging. All the other matches were boring except for the few that actually caused me to become somewhat tired. I looked back towards that odd red. I turned around and walked towards him. He was doing something else at the moment. I stopped in front of him and coughed to get his attention.

"You're my next opponent. I guess you look like something more than the last bunch I killed" I said coolly. "Better use whatever aces that you got. I need a match that won't bore me."

I turned around and walked off. I didn't know if he talked to me or not but I had said what I wanted to say and so I was going to get prepared. There was little time for anything else. I sat down against the wall. I crossed my arms against my chest as I closed my eyes. I cleared my mind as I mentally prepared myself for the upcoming match.

End Log
I decided to get on with this but I never really thought about how this could go. So, yeah...

I decided that Leda was going to fight Digit.

~Digit~

The "Blood Queen" as they were calling her actually spoke to me before the fight was set to happen.
Her words didn't exactly comfort my nerves and I couldn't get myself to say anything. I was nervous... and that's an understatement.
I ended up spending the extra time until the fight checking my mechnical arm. I pulled out a tool or two and made a few adjustments, loosening bits that felt tight. Doing this also seemed to loosen up my organic components... meaning to say: it helped me to relax a bit.
I suppose I'm always most comfortable working with a machine of any sort.

My nerves tensed up again when we were called for our fight.
I headed out and got into my mech...
"Okay... here we go... here's to the big time... let's make it count!" I murmured, trying to hype myself up for this fight.
I then walked into the arena.
I zoomed in on the Blood Queen with the computer and scanned her...
She was as toned as any of the others... and my machine was picking something else but I wasn't sure what it was... it might've been machinery... or maybe just a glitch in the system. I really needed to make sure those weren't present before a fight...
To my surprised, I noticed she actually looked nervous when I looked at her vitals. It was barely there but the readings from the system indicated her pulse quickening too soon to be readying an attack. She was nervous, even if she wasn't showing it.
I guess that makes two of us...
I opened up the mech to show that I was there and wasn't using a remote or anything like that.
"I can't promise a fight that will entertain you..." I called over to her, as nervous as ever "but I'll give you my best. Hope I satisfy." I then closed up and set things in gear to fight.
She took a moment to prepare herself and then darted at me. I reacted by opening fire with the machine guns. She darted around the gun-fire and came at me. I fired a laser at her and it hit, knocking her back. The computer registered no damage to her. It seemed she was very resistant to damage... at least physical damage.
She then came at me again and I swung with the suit's fist. She evaded the attack and punched the suit. Fortunately, her fist actually glanced off and I slapped the suit's hand over her before she could get away. I squeezed to make sure she was secure before pitching her back across the arena, where she slammed into the wall.
"Electrical generator, on!" I told the computer and it started humming as it started generating electricity. It would take a few minutes but once it was charged, any physical contact by her would be met with an electric current. Probably wouldn't do that much damage to her but it was better than nothing when she landed a hit.
~End Log~

That good enough for now?
Unless she's got some insane hearing (like Superman-grade), she shouldn't be able to hear any commands Digit gives to his computer.
Oh yeah, and I'm not sure how easy or hard it is to pick up any adjustments Keijo made to Leda so I just it so that Digit picked up something but it's unclear. I hope that's okay.

Black Scythe

The Black Leader felt around his mouth with his tongue, feeling new, sharper teeth grow in almost immediately. Sizing the much smaller yellow Pikmin up, he decided the runt wasn't going to be making any first strikes.

Small. Agile. Lithe. Frail. flickered through his mind as a hundred thousand voices scrutinized the yellow. Black Scythe quieted them, flicking his tails about in annoyance.

Looking up, past the yellow, he eyed the building that gave Storm Spire its name. One massive spike of a building, not quite measuring as tall as Gear's own Spire. The thing was a giant lightning rod, with smaller spires branching off of it. Taking that down would be no small task...

His brooding was momentarily interrupted as the first artillery barrage finally caught up to him, smashing buildings to splinters, one shell even forcing the yellow runt to dodge away. Black Scythe did not bother to move as one shell struck a measly few feet to his right and planted itself harmlessly in the ground, not even having the good grace to explode.

Glancing over the dud explosive, his gaze swept down to his right arm and the blade attached to it. Sure enough, it was ragged, chipped, worn. It had seen quite a few battles. Perhaps it was time to replace it.

His left eye swiveled around to glare at the yellow, who was now stalking around him, as his right eye turned to the bulk of his right arm, his left tail swinging around and stabbing through it. One... two... three, and the tail jerked down with a sickening crack. He grabbed the blade of bone and yanked it free from the stump in a shower of gore, throwing it well enough to decapitate a civilian in the distance rather messily. From the stump grew new bone, marrow, shell, and finally a new, perfectly sharp blade. As a first test, he swung it carelessly toward the yellow Pikmin.

A blade of pressure carved the air between them as the yellow dodged, the pressure wave slicing through the building behind him. It made a creaking noise, then the upper half slid off and crumbled to the ground, just in time for another artillery shell to blast it to pieces.

"Sharp enough now?" Black Scythe finally snarled, both eyes locking directly onto the yellow runt. Slaughtering time.

~Spyro~

"Wow... and I thought you blacks were too thick-headed to take advice..." I muttered.
"I stand corrected."
I then slammed the ground with a fast, hard axe-kick. This did more than cause an explosion of dirt to fly into the air. It sent a wave across the ground, similar to the black's wind blade.
The black absorbed the blow, getting shoved back only slightly by the impact.
He rushed at me at incredible speed and struck with the new blade. I dodged it again and ducked another attack that came from him almost immediately after with the same blade. I blocked his tail that came around to strike, and I was pressed on speed to jump over his blade, avoiding it again.
*Whoosh!*
He swung it hard and a cutting whirlwind rose around him. I twirled with the wind, unable to avoid it and my injuries were minimized as I spun in air. He attempted to bi-sect me then in mid-air but that proved an un-wise move on his part.
My foot came out at high-speed and slammed into the side of the blade, shattering it from its base and sending what was left of the blade flying elsewhere.
I landed in front of the black and rushed him. I slammed him in the gut first, then went into a set of flowing attacks that hit all over his chest area.
I jumped back in a large back-flip when his blade regrew again in that time and he swiped with it. I landed several feet from him and he took a moment to let his various ribs heal.
I also took the moment to glance at the wounds I had (they weren't terribly deep) and flex my fingers a bit to loosen up my hands. If he didn't start now, he would start fighting me even more seriously soon, so I needed to find a chance to lose him soon. In the meantime though, I was enjoying the challenge of the fight.
~End Log~

Scythe ain't the only one who can make pressure-blades.

~Matthew~

I'd lost Demetri, much to my annoyance.
I wasn't sure where he was and the sun was proving uncomfortably bright so I went into a cave and found it was rather deep.
I was actually near Volatile Volcano so it wasn't actually a surprise to find lava a short way down.
What was surprising was to find a very massive, open-air cave... and what appeared to be a set of ruins therein.
I looked around, exploring. The ruins were rock buildings that were torn down...
Looking closely at many of the buildings... they appeared to have been smashed to pieces. Time didn't do this to these buildings.
"Oi... who's there?" someone said behind me. I glanced back to see a very wisened red leaning against a rock wall of the interior of one of the houses. The house in question, was amazingly enough, more or less in one piece.
"Hmm? A shade is it? Come scavenging for souls, have you?" he said "Mine is far too old to satisfy something like like yourself." he said with a small laugh.
"What is this place?" I asked, approaching him.
He got defensive when I approached.
"You don't know of the Blood-seed, do you young shade?"
I'd heard of them from Red once... but I didn't mention that I'd heard it from him.
"Well, you might know of Hybras then, yes?" he said, still with a dagger in hand, ready to try and fend me off.
"Relax old min... I'm just here out of curiosity. What happened here?"
The red decided apparently I was being honest and put his weapon away though he was still on-guard.
"This is an older Hybras... one of our abandoned cities. This was our favorite location... until a particular blood-seeder decided he wanted to destory everyone."
I was wondering if he spoke of Red... but I had my doubts, so I asked about a name.
He snorted.
"Hah! I guess you don't know that much then... his name was Miles... at any rate that was his first name. His full name didn't really work together... sounded odd... so everyone always referred to him by his first or his last name... never both. He personally perferred his last... I always liked to call him by his first just to annoy him."
I sat down some distance from the red and continued to ask questions... I'd found this place and I was getting more and more curious.
~End Log~

~Matthew (Continued)~

"Y' see... the thing about Miles... was that he was frequently called titled the Madness of the Blood-seed. He was one of us... but he had all the tenacity and bloodlust of a black pikmin... the worst sort at that..." the old min explained
"The blood-seed are violent themselves though, right?" I asked.
"Not to the same extent as the black pikmin though...not usually anyways. We look for battle and to fight to prove ourselves and satisfy our desire for battle, yes... however, unlike the black pikmin, we do not necessarily go so far as for taking life like the Black pikmin are wont to do. Miles though..." the red shook his head "he was a nasty one... I managed to beat him many a-time though. He was intrigued by our common ability: Blood Flare and did much research on it. I imagine by this point in time, he probably knows it in and out though he probably can't do any more with it than the rest of us. He never had the skill to back that power and that's why he lost to some of the more skilled."
"So what happened with him?" I asked.
"He was banished of course. Blood-thirst like that? Yeesh..." the red shook his head again, looking at me like this was obvious.
"Do you remember his last name?"
"Miles? No... I liked to use his first so much I never bothered to remember his last... you can be sure though that if you encountered him, he'd be using his last name. If you survived..." he grinned at me and I realized he was poking fun at how I was dead.
"Eh..." he finally muttered "By this point in time, it wouldn't surprise me if he's dead by now... dunno where he is but y' see the condition of this city here? This is his doin'."
"Do many of the blood-seed know about him?"
"Probably not... unless they're around my age... he's an old one. A few decades in age last I knew 'im. If you can find Hybras and survive there, you might try asking ol' Ein over there..." he shrugged.
I stood up and he tensed.
"Well, I'm searching for someone else and I don't think they're here so I'm off."
~End Log~

That was quicker than I thought I'd be...

Hmm...

The adjustments that Keijo has made to Leda have pretty much integrated fully with her (by this time which is a very long time). They're much a part of her as she is a part of them. There's basically no way of detecting them correctly unless they have the right equipment to find it. Basically, to everything that might scan Leda will basically register everything as normal. Digit's mech might detect them but it would probably lead to a different conclusion of what it might be then what is actually there. Everyone that sees her will think she's pretty much like normal.

Leda Log

I felt my back slam into the wall and grin. This one was definitely going to put that much more of a fight. It was about time for a little more. I took off again knowing that I had somewhat of a worthy fight on my hands despite the one that I was fighting was not fighting with his own strength but borrowed strength from a machine. Only a coward would fight using a machine. I guess I would just have to step this up a notch. I crossed my arms together as I activated my first gift. No machine could see the sickly blue aura surrounding my body. Machines were incapable of doing that. I charged straight at him again as he tried to slow me down with his barrage of ranged weapons from lasers to whatever else that he had on store. I got close and well I was almost blasted by some sort of beam of ice coming right at me.

I crouched, avoiding his punch, and then sprung upwards punching the mech. I twirled around and then kicked it sending it back a few feet. I seemed to make two small dents in it but well I wasn't expect much from those two attacks. I tried it again only to get shocked on the third try and so I quickly backed off. So, he was trying to stop me from attacking close-up. It wouldn't matter. He tried to grab me but I flew upwards before he could even reach me. I watched him and then dodged out of the way as he attacked me again with his machine gun. I had to avoid a couple of lasers shooting at me. I jabbed outwards with my tail fast piercing through the arm of the mech before retracting it too quickly for him to respond to.

I did get the same shocking feeling from before and so I would just have to resort to other methods. I guess he would be wary now to keep an eye out for my tail. I flew out of the way of his next attack but he just barely nicked one of my wings with a few bullets from his gun. I flew down and landed on the ground. It wasn’t a pleasant feeling having electricity run through you.

"Natural Divergence Wave, activate!"

I raised my right hand as lava shot out of the ground at several points. This was followed by a high earthen wall surrounding the arena to protect the onlookers. Several floating platforms rise up as the lava starts filling up the arena. They would be enough to hold the mech's weight. I stood there on a separate platform from the mech. He seemed a little curious by what I was doing or was he watching me carefully. I couldn’t really tell.

"Bothersome but you're tougher than some of the other weaklings that I faced" I stated coldly as I stared at the mech that he was in. "But without that mech, I'm betting that you're weaker than those weaklings. Point being, you're a total coward."

I held out my left arm as I gripped it with my right hand. Three rings of light appeared around it as I pulled on my left arm. My left arm was drawn out as it turned into a sword much longer than my body and wider. I twirled it around with relative ease with one hand. I pointed it at him.

“Meet the last remaining shard of the legendary blade, Excalibur. Your defeat is nigh.”

End Log

I decided to try this but well I didn’t try anything too out of character so I sort of piggybacked from what you did in your log and then tried something from what I understood from Digit’s page. Just to note…

Kentala’s fang is activated which is the only reason why she was able to make those dents but due to what she’s wearing (they limit the power behind her attacks). The lava that filled the smaller arena (due to the earthen (earth, hardened rock, and whatnot) walls that were raised up by Leda’s power) is affected by that power. This means that the mech cannot just ignore any damage done by the lava to it. Leda is into this fight but well she’s irritated by Digit fighting with a mech. She still acts pretty calm despite the fact that she’s irritated.

Yep, if you want to think about what the sword looks like then go look up Allen Walker’s innocence. It looks like that sword but not quite like that sword. The proportions are a little off but the shape is pretty much the same. She is going to use that blade’s abilities. She does have a few ranged attacks that she can do with her sword and she will be using them. She ain't gonna try attacking him with any melee attacks again unless it benefits her in way of doing way more damage than being shocked.

Any problems?

If any of the blood-seed have been outside then they would know about the blade that she's wielding...

---

~Digit~

Upon her calling me a coward, I opened up the armor.
"You got a lot of nerve, no matter who you are, calling anyone in this arena a coward."
She sneered at this as she generated a very large blade indeed. It was mostly square in shape and she introduced it as a piece of Excalibur if I heard right.
"If you're going to claim me a coward for using this mech-armor of mine, you might as well also proclaim yourself one for using that sword of yours! Even more so if you didn't make it yourself!" I argued "I made this mech myself; regardless of what you think, it is my strength and I have honed it much the way you have honed your own organic muscles! If you wanna call me a coward, come over here and show me how easily you can beat my 'cowardice'!"
I generated a shield when she swung the blade and sent an energy blade at me from the sword. I had dealt with that stuff before and it had damaged me before. My shield wouldn't last forever but it absorbed the attack.
I put it away afterwards, closing up the armor again, and told the computer "Wave Cannon, Activate."
I aimed the arm cannon at her and the computer read her muscle reactions and directed my aim to better hit her. The attack I was about to fire had an area effect so I didn't need to hit spot-on, but the closer she was to the middle, the better the damage would be. I clamped the armor down onto the hunk of rock it was on and fired.
A wide electrical blast shot across the arena and the Blood Queen couldn't move nearly fast enough to get completely away.
The hunk of rock I was on was propelled back from the firing of the electrical beam.
When my electrical stores for the wave cannon were finally drained, the wave cannon ceased function and I put it away. She was on the ground, recovering from the massive shock. She soon got up though. Impressive stamina.
She launched some sort of energy attack different from the last one at me and I used the air jets to launch the armor over the incoming attack. I focused the armor's weight and came down on the rock-hunk hard. It generated a large lava-wave. I pulled out the ice beam and quickly froze a section of the wave, effectively creating a defensive barrier for a moment as she attempted to get through the wave to get at me. Her attack broke the rock and lost power in doing so.
Let's see if she's got the skill to back up that lip of hers.
~End Log~

If she was hoping to provoke Digit with those words... she only half-succeeded at best.
As Digit sees it, a person's strength is in their weapon that they forge and their muscles. A coward to him, is someone who uses someone else's weapon (any weapon they themselves didn't make). Someone who nevers fights out of fear is a gutless cur/dog. While he doesn't have much in his organic muscles, he is proud of his armor as he sees it as his own strength.
Anyone (like Leda) who calls him a coward for using it, he basically sees as trying to get him to drop his weapon (like someone dropping their sword or shield).

Anyway, that work for you? Digit can't use the Wave Cannon at that level of power again for several hours (though he can use it at lesser levels within one hour). It's electric damage FYI. Oh yeah, and the electric barrier is down now until he recharges again.

7.18.11 to 7.24.11[]

Black Scythe

Squishy little pest. I can hear the roaring of engines behind me; the main bulk will be here soon and I'm wasting time on one measly yellow Pikmin.

"Enough of this," I hissed, raking my claws across my chest. The wounds sealed themselves shut quickly, but the blood was what I was after. Oh how long since I have done this!

"Blades of Blood!" I snarled, slashing my claws at the yellow and flinging large arcs of black blood at him. He had the common sense to move, and keep moving as I launched more. As he rebounded from a wall, I saw my shot, kicking off from the ground and moving with a speed he'd likely not been expecting. He had enough time to raise his arms to block as I swung my right tail around, clobbering him with the clubbed end and sending him skidding away. I snapped my wing open and flew after him, bringing my scythe around to impale him, but he rolled out of the way at the last second and delivered a solid kick to my chin, then several more to my chest as I pulled my arm free, only just managing to roll out of the way as my tails came around to strike.

The yellow spun to his feet and deflected my right tail, then ducked my left one, grabbed it just behind the blade, and pulled. To my immense surprise, he actually managed to pull me from the ground, swing me overhead, and slam me back down into the earth in one fluid motion. All that, just in time for my right tail to come about and brain him, smashing him through the wall of a nearby building. As I pulled myself to my feet, I reached into my side and yanked out a shattered rib... or two. Couldn't exactly be sure.

The Yellow Pikmin, proving himself surprisingly tenacious, pulled himself out of the hole I'd slammed him through and adopted a defensive stance again.

Not normal, not normal flickered through my head. He is more than he seems, he is not normal. Kill him quickly, quickly. I chucked the bone aside as a trukk full of my brethren zoomed past, belching smoke and gunfire as the crew opened fire at anything in the general direction of "not them". On the grounds that they weren't aiming at him, I'll forgive them for missing the Yellow. He was yabbering something-or-other at me, I wasn't bothering to actually listen this time, instead focusing on the pink crystals jutting from my right arm.

"Dance, gnat," I barked at him, firing a barrage of the homing needles.
-End

For reference, if someone else hops in to fight Spyro and Black Scythe just up and leaves (feeling he shouldn't be wasting his time on a single dude), will Spyro stick around to fight it out? It'd have to be more interesting to fight someone who doesn't instantly regenerate from all damage.

---

Provided they give Spryo a good enough challenge of a fight, he'll certainly stick around. Just about any named melee-combatant in the Black pikmin army probably can get him to keep on fighting. Although even Spryo has his limits but still... he'll take on anyone you want him to (though if Epsion starts setting cross-hairs on him, he'll get the heck out of there). He'll run either when the city is virtually finished (the black pikmin have practically taken it already) or when he feels he's in bad condition and it wouldn't be wise to continue. The latter is likely to happen first, obviously.

~Spyro~

I attempted to avoid the pink crystals he fired but they curved to follow me. I outran them a short distance and lifted a relatively small hunk of rubble and quickly used it as a make-shift shield. Perhaps one or two crystal hit me regardless.
I hurled the rubble aside, and knowing this army's liking to make things explode in various ways (the war around us was enough to know that), I grabbed what crystals had hit me and yanked them out, throwing them away.
I rolled out of the way as the black leader attempted to finish me again in a swift blow and I decided to get out of the streets, jumping up into the air.
The black below was about to follow when I was tackled by another black. He had been aiming to behead me with the massive axe in his hand. I'd managed to avoid the weapon but his flying mass was unavoidable in my position.
We landed on the roofs, the leader in the streets yelling something about "kill-stealing" but waved it off, muttering something along the lines of "screw it".
I now had a different opponent.
~End Log~

I was thinking Ark but if you want to use someone else, go ahead and alter events have him confront a different black.
If Ark can sense qualities about someone's blood, he's going to know right away that Spyro ain't just another yellow.

---

Well I was thinking more...

Black Scythe

As the yellow pikmin leaps away, the black leader, rapidly losing patience with such a fruitless fight so far from the main action, scratches at his side until he can pull out an organ that looks... vaguely like a kidney. Was a kidney once upon a time. He throws it at the yellow Pikmin and then turns to walk away, toward the main battle.

The yellow dodges the vile, pulsating organ as it slowly begins growing little tendrils, gives a shout and begins to chase... only to be blocked when a polearm comes down in his path.

///Putricide\\\

"Oh, sorry about that. Clumsy old me, must have lost my grip," Putricide muttered absently, reaching down to pick up the black-and-red organ. "But the good news is, this is possibly the most interesting specimen I've ever laid eyes on! Wouldn't you agree?"

The yellow gave him a look. "I'd call it possibly the most disgusting thing I've ever seen," he said bluntly.

"Ah well, not all can see the beauty in such things, I suppose," the scientist lamented, pocketing the organ. He then takes several steps backward at the yellow rushes him, frantically swinging his arms "Hang on, hang on, I'm not a front-line fighter! I am a scientist!" he shouts, backing away from the yellow's attack. "If you want to fight SOMEONE, might I suggest-" he never finished the sentence, as the yellow 'min was forced to step aside to avoid having the top half of his head separated from the lower half as Koltira intervened.

"That works," Putricide shrugged, running over and retrieving his polearm. "Toodle-loo!"

///Koltira\\\

Koltira watched as the yellow picked himself up, wiping the small scratch his blade had left on the yellow's cheek. More than enough. Koltira rose one hand and motioned at the wound, causing a splash of blood to spray out of it. The yellow clapped a hand over the wound, but the freed blood snaked its way over to Koltira, rising up along grooves in his armor and circulating about it in a twisted mockery of the body's own arteries.

"An intriguing tang to your blood," he noted idly, watching as it span around the grooves in his armor. "Very different from other yellow Pikmin. I think this'll be more fun than I'd anticipated," he decided, hefting his blade, the runes along it blazing to life.

"Gotta be more fun than the guy who throws his organs at people," the yellow replied, rushing him. Koltira rushed in return, swinging his blade high as the yellow went low and threw a punch... which was blocked as his own blood leapt from the black 'min's armor to muffle his blow, forcing him to roll away from Koltira's kick in reply. More blood gathered around the death knight's gauntlet, coalescing into a sickly red ball in his hand.

"Bloodbolt," he muttered, firing the orb of blood just past the yellow's head and through the ceiling of the building. The yellow swept him off his feet and kicked him across the roof in return, dodging another bloodbolt as he rolled. As the death knight rose to his feet, more blood flooded through his armor, this time his own.

"Oh yes, this WILL be fun indeed. I suppose it rude of me not to introduce myself," Koltira said, bowing. "I am Koltira Deathweaver, Prime Disciple of Blood. And who are you?"

---

~Spyro~

The leader had decided to leave me. It was disappointing and when the "scientist" came along, I wanted to punch a hole in the guy being where he shouldn't be. Then came the bloody freak. He apparently could control blood and could sense the draconic aspect of my blood. He introduced himself as Kolitra, being rather honorable in action as he gave a bow. "Well, one of you black pikmin has manners. First your leader isn't so thick-headed as I thought and now proper introductions. Will wonders never cease?" I couldn't hold back a smirk. I clasped my fist in my hand and returned the bow like I was about to fight a karate match. "The name's Spyro. Perhaps I'll have to rethink the general image of a black pikmin. Just a little less dumb." I said, getting set to fight again. It seemed my opponent was noticing my talkativeness. I decided for the time being though to just be quiet and fight. This Kolitra-guy had given me a nice impression and I felt I had to respect that, if only for a little while. I evaded another "bloodbolt" and charged. He generated a blood-sword and lashed it at me. I avoided the attack and hit him with a swift jab combo. One-two-three. Two punches with my right then a hard straight with my left. He blocked the last hit with a blood-wall and skidded back from the impact. He looked a little stunned at my sheer power but he continued to defend and try to counter-attack as I continued my assault. I swept low with my foot and he hopped over it, trying to bring his weapon down on me. I backed off and he hurled yet another blood-bolt at me, which I twisted only a little to avoid. Then he generated a lot of little needles with blood. He made to launch it all at me and I quickly jumped at the ceiling of the building we were in. I dug my fingers into the material and clung there, lifting the rest of my body to press against the ceiling. The storm of needles went under me an instant later. "What are you? A ninja?" he said as I dropped from the ceiling. "A ninja would leave no trace of their presence." I pointed out the little holes I'd left in the ceiling. "I'm much more than that but if you can't give me a better fight than this, I don't see any reason to waste my time showing you that." ~End Log~

I'm not entirely sure what Kolitra is capable of with blood but I'm imagining just about anything that Serris would be able to do with water? I'm not positive though.

<Sloth>

Two Seraphs. Such a pain in my ass. The one I was fighting dove straight at me, claws flashing and tiny tendrils whipping every-which way. I took the first swipe of his claws with my arm and responded by backhanding the hell out of him, knocking him for a loop long enough for me to pounce on him and commence pounding his face into the dirt. This was interrupted when something jabbed my right arm and yanked back, pulling me off and toward the second Seraph. Some kind of barbed tendril. A line of sand flicked up and sliced it off as Strosek rushed in at him, blade flying, and I know even Seraph wouldn't live through a direct shot from EC-Divider.

Rolling to my feet I caught a punch from the first Seraph with my face, responding by grabbing his own face and unloading a high-voltage shock. Several of his blaster bits flew around from behind to pepper me with lasers, but I was very suddenly across the field. And also very suddenly between Strosek and the second Seraph. A thick shell of sand formed around me before the two could strike, though the Divider and Seraph's claws punched almost through. The sand contracted around the offending bits; the Divider was swiftly removed, but I heard Seraph's arm crack before he blasted himself free. Unfortunately the sand wall dissolving in the face of this meant taking a barrage from the Book of the Silver Cross clean to the face, which floored me pretty well.

"What a pain," I growled as Strosek advanced, only to be buffeted by a wave of sand, washing over him and pressing down. Delta, as far as I could see, was amidst a sea of quicksand, little dust tornadoes swirling about him as he brought the nearby dirt under his control. Ignoring me, both Seraphs attacked him at once, swooping between the sands to deliver lightning-quick slashes to him, tearing up his coat and sending little lines of blood flying through the sand. Both were stopped dead in their tracks as Delta grabbed both with huge hands of sand, then slapped them together with all the force of an earthquake. When the sand receded, there was a single, dazed Seraph.

Strosek chose this moment to burst free of the sand that had smothered him, the Book firing a barrage of magical blasts in all directions. I simply dodged between the blasts; Delta submerged beneath his sand, and Seraph took it full on. A large beam of energy lanced out and scored Strosek across his side, Seraph emerging from the smoke cloud with his old buster cannon.

"Why don't you gnats ever know how to DIE!" he roared, firing another beam in my direction. I zipped out of its path, then covered the distance in half a second to dropkick him in the face. We here sure dispense a lot of facial trauma don't we?

///Koltira\\\

Koltira hummed to himself. More challenge? Oh he could do that. A set of specially made spikes on the inside of his armor pierced his skin and withdrew more blood, the armor itself thrumming with its power. He could feel it pulsing as his own heart once had.

"Very well, then," was the only warning he gave, firing three bloodbolts at Spyro before running at him. Spyro merely dodged the three orbs of blood, then jumped over Koltira's swipe and scissored a foot down on his shoulder, pushing him to the ground. That was okay with him, it let him easily press a hand to the rooftop and flood it with vile energy, searing the entire building with a dark red aura. Spyro landed... and then quickly leapt to another building as the floor beneath him gave way, a hole widening slowly as bits of it fell out like... flesh.

"Necrotic Strike," Koltira intoned, jumping up the building as well, whiffing his swipe with his sword but managing to scratch at the yellow with his left hand, scoring four dark lines across his right arm. He got a hard kick to the chest for his trouble, but that was perfectly okay now. He planted his sword in the rooftop, rose one hand, and sprayed blood like a fountain into the air, the crimson liquid coming back down like little razors, splattering across the rooftop. Spyro merely stood out of range, then advanced once Koltira stopped.

"This is really kinda boring. I'm sure you have some neat tricks somewhere, right?"

Koltira hummed again, then cut the yellow off as a line of blood shot through his left knee from behind and crystallized, giving him enough time to charge forth and deliver three hard blows, Spyro blocking them with his arms and hands until a second crimson spear punctured his right forearm. The death knight took the chance to deliver one hard kick to the yellow's stomach, shattering both bloody spears and pushing the yellow across the rooftop. He cradled his stomach, but chuckled nonetheless.

"Come on, is that really all you got? I barely felt that!" Spyro taunted.

"Oh you'll be feeling it, alright," Koltira warned, pointing at his arms. The three spots he'd hit with his initial blows sported angry welts and rapidly-spreading bruises, a similar large bruise covering his stomach. "It is rather unwise to let me hit you. Ever. And you have not even seen the half of it yet," he continued, backing up and retrieving his sword. "It's also not a good idea to let me do THIS!" he punctuated the last sentence with another fountain of blood, this one larger than the previous. Spyro stomped a hole through the rooftop and jumped into the building, prompting a scowl from Koltira. Spoilsport. He hopped down into the hole as well and promptly received a roundhouse to the head.

A roundhouse strong enough to pop the stitches around his neck and send his head rolling into a corner of the room. His body dropped to the floor with a clunky thud, and Spyro sighed.

--- "Well that was a tad unnecessary."

"WAGAHRAGLEBLARG WHAT," Spyro demanded as Koltira's head pushed itself back up via its stalk. His body slowly got to its feet and retrieved the severed head. "WHAT," Spyro demanded again.

"Hmm, you completely popped the stitches. That's annoying, I don't know how to set those myself," Koltira replied, examining his neck by pointing his head at it. Turning the head around and cradling it underarm, he gave Spyro a sarcastic glance. "Really now, I'm undead kid. Not the first time I've had my head taken off."

Koltira's body placed his head atop a nearby table, then retrieved his sword and took its place before the yellow 'min again. "Oh yeah, small rooms with me in them aren't very safe," he called over as spikes of crystallized blood shot out from his armor in all directions. Spyro punched through a line of them and rushed into a different room, Koltira's body following.

"Won't help!" Koltira called after him helpfully. "I don't need eyes to see ya!" This was true; he could simply sense the yellow's rapidly pumping blood. Yes, run, endorphins add flavor.

---

Let me redo Spyro's reaction slightly, he's not the type to blabber nonsense and will take even surprises calmly (though he might get aggravated):

~Spyro~

When I managed to kick the guy's head clean off, I wasn't amused when he continued talking. "Excuse me?" I raised an eyebrow "You're a zombie, are you?" "Bingo. But a whole lot more threatening." Kolitra said, his head on the table. "Swell..." I grumbled "No wonder you're all looks and bite." Sure the pain from the wound was bad but I'd dealt with poisons of all sorts before so even if it was a disease in the wound, my body was resisting it and the pain wasn't as bad as it might've been otherwise. I evaded more swings from the headless body and then as I backed into another room, I heard a thud on the roof over our heads... too light to be a black pikmin... only one pikmin I could think of... "Oh criminy..." I muttered, glancing up. I barely evaded another attack in my distraction. I kicked the headless body back into previous room and decided to go handle the guy about to try and spoil my entertainment. I stomped off. "I thought he was getting out of here for his own bloody safety..." I growled. I jumped through a hole in the roof and there was Ryu. "C'mon Spyro, I'm not leaving you here in this carnage." "Who asked?" I roared and we started to argue. Then Kolitra jumped out of the hole in the roof, his head under one arm. He blinked and made to attack us. We both interrupted him. "We're arguing! Butt out!" we both yelled and socked him simultaniously in the chest. The black's body was knocked back into the hole and his head landed on the roof. "I didn't ask for your help with anything, Ryu!" I yelled and made to punch him but he sidestepped me and attempted to subdue me. Unwise. I pulled a reversal on him and hurled him away. Kolitra's body was getting back out again. "Alright... you wanna play hardball...?" I said, turning toward him. "I'm in a bad mood so I'm through playing around." ~End Log~

Spyro's going to get a bit more aggressive, though he's not going to transform. As for Ryu, I brought him back on a whim. He's out of the way though for the time being.

Mimoza Log

The atmosphere here had become tense as the feral ones continued to watch us. I know that we couldn't see exactly what they looked like as they stayed there in the darkness. I carefully looked around until I spotted Zaliss as he was being almost too careful. It was almost if he expected the feral ones to attack. The sound of numerous talons scratching into the dirt and rock drifted across to us.

Zaliss had decided to get the tribe moving again and of course he had a few of our tribe's ripmin watching all sides to make sure that all of us weren't ambushed but so far the feral ones weren't going to do very much. I looked up at the sky noticing that the sky was becoming darker. The feral ones were waiting for it to be dark out. I came up to Zaliss's side quickly. He turned his head slightly as he noticed me.

"What is it?" he asked sternly.

"The feral ones aren't attacking yet but they will once it's dark out here. I suggest that we move faster" I answered quickly.

He turned his head to look at me fully before turning away.

"We're going to make a break for it. Spread the word and then wait for my signal."

I swiftly moved away from him and moved to one of the other tribe members. I told this ripmin what I was told by Zaliss and then I told that ripmin to spread the word. I left after that as I continued to watch the sky. I just hoped that we could get through here before it got dark. I looked back towards some of the tribe members talking quietly and I knew that the word was being passed along. All that was needed was the signal.

We continued to move through the lands for the next few minutes in total silence. Everyone was still uneasy about this whole situation. I knew that the integrated tribe members were questioning Zaliss's position as the leader. They wouldn't speak of it when he was around. I served whoever was the leader of the tribe. Zaliss was doing as well as the last leader so far. The rebel element within the tribe was minimal.

“Let’s go!”

I went into an all out sprint as I heard our leader fiercely scream those words aloud. All of the tribe started sprinting as well including those that had anything on their back which would be anything from the young to the tents that we use as shelter. I looked up at the sky as it was getting darker by the second now. I couldn't see the sun anymore.

The badlands were vast and I could see all of those holes around here. The feral ones had a substantially large colony underground. The last rays of daylight were swallowed by the encroaching darkness of night. The sound of several shrill wails pierced through the silent night air and they came. I found myself suddenly pushed to the ground by a sudden weight.

I looked up to see a feral one staring down at me. It bit down on my arm in the next moment and pulled. I wasn't about to let that happen. I kicked the feral one with my feet sending it flying off of me.

I got up quickly and defended myself from another attack. I looked over at where Zaliss was to find him fighting off even more of them. We had completely stopped to fight off these savages. I protected myself as best as I could as I backed away as more came in. I stopped one of the feral ones from rushing by me to get at the young. I wouldn't allow for that to happen. I swiped at another one trying to get past me. I stopped that one plus another one. I grinned as a pale white shield formed in my hand.

I slammed this shield directly into the two feral ones and they ran away from me, screaming. I was beset by several more of them. I had to defend myself against all the attacks and I couldn't really kill anything here. I was merely the seer of this tribe. My main purpose was to advise our leader. I was pushed backwards by the constant attacks. I couldn't hold out for much longer if this kept up.

---

I looked down at the ground waiting for my shield to break. I saw something flashing by at the top of my vision and the sound of a bunch of blood-curdling screams came later. I looked up to see Zaliss standing there with his arms entirely covered in blood. He had a few bleeding wounds himself but he was still doing fine. I looked around to see several bloody and dead ripmin on the ground. I looked back up at him.

"Are you okay?" he asked with a concerned look in his eye.

"I'm fine" I answered him.

"Good. There are more of them that our tribe can actually take care of. We will need to get out of here quickly!"

I nodded and he rushed off to a different part of the hilly landscape. I would defend the back of the tribe for now. Several of the magic users joined up with me and a few of the warriors of our tribe came to back us up.

Waves of flames, electricity, and ice pushed the enemy back while the warriors kept us protected. I was protecting the magic users with what little magic that I had currently which wasn’t much.

I hoped that Zaliss could get us out of here soon because I felt like the enemy had an unlimited amount of forces on their side. I blocked an attack that would have killed one of the magic users but just barely. I earned a bloody cut across my arm just by doing so. I wasn't going to let them get past me. I stuck out at one of the feral ones rushing at me, it dodged out of the way and slashed me across the cheek, and I jumped back while the magic users continued their assault to push the savages back.

End Log

The feral ones are attacking. Mimoza is currently at the back while Zaliss is helping out but he's making plans to hopefully get out of there before the entire tribe is overwhelmed. There's way too many feral ones attacking. Ferals (or feral ones) are much stronger than their tribal brethren but they ain't as smart as their tribal brethren. They are cannibals if you didn't catch that part.

---

Well, if Zaliss is involved, then so is Rahu. Though judging from the the nature of ferals... well, I'll just try to show it in a reaction log:

~Rahu~

Okay, I was offically freaked out. I never knew there were ripmin that were this wild and not only that, but the few unlucky individuals in the tribe that fell behind as we retreated were caught and dragged back by the swarm of these insane ripmin. We wouldn't be seeing them alive again... I tried to help but when I tried taking on one of these ripmin, two others ganged up along side him on me. I had to beat a hasty retreat, covered by other tribe members. I contributed however I could but that turned out to not be much. The one time I got a one-on-one fight with one of these ripmin (who I was hearing were called "Ferals"... most suitable), I found myself quite outmatched even though we were roughly the same size. I slammed the ripmin as the magic users behind us cast repelling magics. The feral wouldn't back off though and I had to back up even faster as it tried snapping at me to grab hold of me. I had no time to speak to anyone, I saw someone coming to back me up and I retreated while they took my place. I was rather severely injured from the skimishing but I made sure to keep up with the tribe. I don't think I want to fight "Ferals" again, thank you very much. ~End Log~

Yeah... I don't think there's any problems but Rahu is going to be defended more than defend. --- Kanaedolph log

We spotted the white from before picking up herbs and other ingredients. "Hey!" I said to him, he turned towards us. "You bozos again? Yawn. Remember what happened last time?" He said. I made a angry face at him. "You might have beat me, but can you defeat my apprentice?" I said, as I looked at Sandy.

End log.

Blue log

I sighed. I really don't want to have to do this, but I have no choice. I skipped forwards. "Hi, cutie." I said to him, as hearts showed up in his and all of the male Rakuen Maigo members eyes and floated around their heads. "Sorry I have to do this, but boss says I have to, so..." I said, as I pulled out my heart wand.

End log, a boss fight with her. She doesn't want to fight Claude (She actually really likes him), but Kanaedolph is forcing her to. --- ~Claude~

What a pest... I judged from the wand that this "Blue" girl was going to be using some form of magic. So, I used "Reflect". Her first attack, which interestingly involved lots of hearts, rebounded off of my alchemic shield and flew back at her. I charged and then she tossed out a bomb! "Whoa!" I yelped and dove out of the way of the bomb.

  • BOOOM!*

Lots of hearts again. More bombs came flying at me and in a desperate move to get out of the way, I pulled out the bazooka and fired a shot off to the side, launching myself several meters in the opposite direction from the recoil. I could see from her face that she wasn't really into this fight. So I decided to target the true source of my grief: Kane. Didn't want to fight someone who didn't really want to fight me. I pulled out the Neutron Blade and lashed out at Kane, who jumped out of the way and then Blue, sighing as she didn't want to do this, attacked me again. I decided for her, I'd go easy. I'd defend myself but not be hard on her unless she really insisted upon it. ~End Log~

I'm not really sure where to go with the battle so, I'll just see what you do and respond. When I've had enough of the fight, I think I'll have Ivan interrupt the proceedings. ---

Kane log

Uh oh. I dodged another attack from the white, and I ran behind the rest of my min for cover.

End log.

Blue log

I dodged another attack from the white. "Can you break this illusion?" I said, as I teleported away and reappeared with 3 mirages of myself, and we threw hearts darts at him.

End log, the mirages can also attack too. --- ~Claude~

Bah... coward... I dodged more attacks from Blue and pulled some oil and wax. I then hurled three small fireballs ("Flash") at her and her mirages. They hit with a loud popping noise as the flames exploded on her and her illusions. The two fakes were cleared away and all that was left was the real deal. "Yipe!" she cried out, trying to put out the blaze hurriedly. "Whoops..." I said, embarrassed "I didn't mean to do that much damage. Sorry." She got huffy nonetheless and she hurled a swarm of bombs my way. "Oh crap..." I quickly cast Defend on myself and braced for impact.

  • Sha-BOOM!*

Ow... ow... pain... That... had hurt... "Ow... I said sorry..." I groaned, getting up as the field of explosions had unavoidably knocked me on my face. ~End Log~

One more...

--- Blue log

"Its alright, sweetie. Come here." I said, as I spun my hand around, sucking him towards me, he tried to run away, but to no avail. "How about a hug?" I said, as I gave him the hug of a lifetime. His eyes bugged out and he struggled desperately before going flying out of my arms. "Cutie, you shouldn't break a girl's heart." I said, as I spun my wand around in a heart shaped pattern. "Heartbreaker!" I yelled, as I fired a large heart of pink energy at him, which split in half and exploded when it hit him.

End log, her Heartbreaker special is taken from Polly from Samurai Pizza Cats, it can be seen here in 1:55 to 2:03: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro-r2W49rAM

~Claude~

Ouch, ouch, and ouch. The beatdown might have continued if it weren't for someone suddenly firing what I quickly realized was a shotgun into the fight. Several bits of dirt flew into the air as a spray of bullets went into the ground. "Hey! What's all the noise?" someone yelled. Blue turned on the yellow speaking and hurled a heart ray at him in reaction. The guy side-stepped the attack. "Sorry girlie, I don't do 'lovey-dovey'." He brandished a pistol and fired it at her. The shot ricocheted off the metal. She attempted another heart-attack on him and he stepped out of the way again. "Robot, hm?" He brandished that shotgun again. "Electro-net." He fired a very fast net made of electricity from the shotgun. It was clearly made of electricity flowing between all the bits that were fired.

  • ZzzzzTT*

Blue went down under it. "Now, I ask again, what's all the noise?" ~End Log~

Ivan's bullets tend to be made of conductive metals so he can electrically infuse them.

Kanaedolph log

Wait, she was a robot? "You are not sandy, we have an impostor!" I said, as I unsheathed my sword. "Stay out of this, samurai hack." The Russian said. "What did you just call me??!!!!" I said, as I did a jump slice at him... only for him to fire another electric net at me. "Aaaaiiieeee!" I screamed, as I got caught and shocked in it.

End log.

Ivan doesn't normally sound Russian. He doesn't have an accent unless he's under such stress that it slips out. This situation isn't even close to that stressful for him.

~Ivan~

"Watch your mouth, blackie." I said sharply. "They attacked me... I'm defending myself." The white said simply. "Finally! A honest-to-goodness straight-up answer!" I said as though praising a deity. Then I looked over the white... "You wouldn't happen to be Claude would you?" I asked. Everyone else present seemed unsure what to do while our conversation carried on. "Uh, yeah. That's my name. Why?" I gave him a more thorough once-over, judging out his abilities. When I finished, I snapped my fingers. Two or three members of the group came out, wielding fully automatic weapons. "Alright... you, Claude, come with me... and you don't get hurt. The rest of you: stay in place, and we'll leave you in one piece as you are. Believe me, we're not the only ones present and ready to act so don't think you can overwhelm me and my... associates. Capise?" ~End Log~

--- Blue log

...Argh... I slowly got back up as Claude and the gunmin walked away. "Ahem!" I heard, as I turned around to see all of the members of my former group pointing weapons at me. "What?" I said. I realized what was up, and put my hands up. "Ooh, its just not my day!" I said in a sad tone, as I was escorted away by the goons.

~Ivan~

Once we were away from the area and had a bit of privacy, I turned to Claude and leaned against a nearby tree. "Alright, so you're Claude?" I said, just to be sure. He nodded somewhat impatiently. "Did you meet a fellow white by the name of Nero by any chance?" I asked. He raised an eyebrow. "That guy? The one who shot himself dead?" Nero shot himself? I also raised an eyebrow. "I would guess it was because he was blind but I dunno... but he shot himself." Claude said, shrugging. Someone blinded Nero, huh? He was such a marksmin, that's one of only few reasons Nero would kill himself for. "I hope for you sake you're not the one that made him blind..." I said calmly. "Heck no!" Claude yelled, hands up "That was the only time I'd ever met him!" I decided to trust this kid was being truthful. He didn't seem like the type to lie anyhow. I was about to continue my questions when he raised one himself. "Why do you care about Nero anyways? I hardly knew him!" "Because, someone took my brother's gun and I know he'd trust no one else with it save myself." I responded almost immediately Claude was stunned, needless to say. "You didn't happen to loot that body did you?" I asked, now getting serious. "I didn't loot it! He entrusted that gun of his to me!" That I wouldn't believe. Not for an instant! "That's a lie if I ever heard one." I said gravely, placing a hand on my pistol. "I wish I had some way to prove it to you, but he did entrust it to me. I'm not lying!" "I get you out of the frying pan, and you just made yourself a fire to be roasted in." I said. Fortunately for him, I underestemated him. I took my time pulling out my gun while he didn't have a weapon out. Or what I thought was a weapon. He pulled some random junk and figured he was going to pitch it at me and try to make a break for it. He... pitched it alright... but not in the way I expected. I suddenly couldn't move and he got away. ~End Log~

Claude used "Stop". In case you forgot, Claude's "Stop" spell basically puts a target in "stasis". They can't move or attack, nor be attacked until it wears off.

BTW: I'm going to have put the Demetri Storyline on-hold until I've got more data on Keijo's continent. Particularly the areas adjacent to Cascading Plains. I'm not about to have either Demetri or Zack fly over any area without knowledge about the area's effects. Unfortunately, I don't want to try flying over the Ceremonial Grounds and Sorli won't do. Anywhere else: Shadow has yet to put up anything.

///Koltira\\\

Koltira regarded the angry-looking not-a-yellow-pikmin for a moment before sighing.

"Oh fine, fine," he grunted, issuing a sharp whistle at his body. "I never get to have any actual fun, ya know? None of the creeping dread of fighting an enemy who you simply can't win against, the horror of what, exactly I can do," he muttered as his body lifted his head over the severed stump of his neck, strands of blood reaching up into his head and pulling it tight into its proper placement.

"Ah well, I guess I can live out my power fantasy some other time, right?"

"Are you going to get to the point sometime soon?" Spyro snapped irritably.

"Now a good time?" he replied, as all of the blood he'd sprayed about the building coalesced into a clawed arm behind him and took a swipe. He evaded it... directly into a blow to the face that knocked him right back into it, the claw catching him before erupting into a shredding hail of blood shards. Koltira didn't give him time to land before punting him across the roof, shards of blood snapping off his back and skittering about before abruptly bursting into a fine red mist, swirling about around the death knight.

"Do you know exactly what I could do to you? What blood control lets one do to another?" Koltira asked, the echo of his voice becoming more pronounced, as Spyro hopped back to his feet and rushed him. "You never really think about just how much blood is in a person. For instance," he cut himself off, making a scissoring motion with his fingers. Spyro's left leg made a horrible splutch noise and he went down, clutching it. The leg rapidly bruised.

"Yes, I'd imagine having half the tendons in your lower leg severed would hurt pretty badly," Koltira mocked him, raising one hand toward the prone yellow not-a-pikmin. "Now, let's see how you react to all of the blood in your body boiling."

How Spyro would react was never found out, as the Blue not-a-pikmin abruptly decided enough was enough and delivered a pretty hefty kick to his head. His head which was currently held on with strands of blood. Those strands popped without much of a fight, and his head went flying into the distance, shouting expletives.

His body, for its part, folded its arms and made it quite clear that if it had a face it'd be glaring at the blue 'min. It threw its hands up, walked over to its blade, and fired a bloodbolt into the sky. A chill wind rushed in around it, and very suddenly Karrak was standing before it, facing away.

"You call?" Karrak asked. Koltira's body tapped him on the shoulder and pointed to the stump of its neck when he turned around. "Ah. You might want to see Putricide about that." The body waved him away, then stomped off in the direction of its head. Karrak turned around to face the - he assumed - incapacitated yellow and not-so-incapacitated blue Pikmin.

"Was there something you were doing there, or...?" he asked. End Log

Telling a guy that controls blood to get serious isn't the grandest of ideas. I have abruptly realized that Koltira has two settings: "dick around" and "murder horribly".

~Ryu~

"I did that to your comrade to try and prevent Spyro from finally taking him seriously!" I explained. I noticed Spyro standing up and he had an aura forming. I drew my borrowed sword and pointed it directly at my distant cousin. "Spyro... don't you dare use it. You do that and I swear I will beheaded you before you've finished!" The black that had arrived at the scene was giving us the weirdest look. He obviously didn't have any clue about our abilities. I looked the blue-armored black in the eyes. "Last time my friend here got serious like that, he was an absolute pain to take down. I had to work alone and it took me all my own energy to do it." I turned my head back to Spyro, who just gave me a bored look and the aura faded. He remained standing though despite the leg. I relaxed in that department for the time being. "Seriously, if you always do what Spyro asks of you, you're looking for trouble, no matter who you are." I said simply "You mind telling your friend that next time? It'll save us all a whole lot of trouble." Then Spyro looked like he wanted to tangle some more with someone. He was smirking, flexing his fingers around and giving the black pikmin a leering looking. If he didn't catch what Spyro wanted that time, he wasn't a normal black pikmin. Naturally, he knew just what Spyro wanted. "C'mon Ryu..." Spyro said almost greedily "Can't I have some fun at least?" Oh great... he's actually asking me for permission... that's not a good sign. "Ugh..." I groaned "Fight if you want. But I'm not involved if I can help it." I told both of them, hands up. ~End Log~

Ryu stopped his companion from using his third form. Yeah, Spyro can be a little demented about fighting and when he's actually being like a little kid in some way (like asking Ryu for permission for example), it's not good. He's simply balancing on one leg by the way. Though if he transforms either way, the leg won't be a problem. It will either be reinforced or... well, not needed. You can involve Ryu if you want but I assure you, the two of them together are not easy.

---

~Spyro~

My leg hurt, that couldn't be denied. I had wanted to use my... rarer form but with his sword and all that, Ryu's threat had some weight to it. I could never be sure if he was serious about something or not, or rather in this case, whether he'd actually pull it off or not. I decided to not risk it there. I really would've liked to go a little wild on these blacks though. It'd have been interesting. I was on my feet, or at any rate, I was standing on one leg. I jumped at the black and he generated a wall of ice covered in spikes at once for me to fall on. I brought my fist forward and smashed the wall. The spikes weren't long enough for me to fall on first and the ice shattered. "Good power." the black commented, now else where, watching my attacks. I was quickly getting fed up with the injury in my leg slowing me down though. Ryu was glowering at me though and I guessed that he wouldn't be pleased with me transforming. Then again, he wasn't happy with me to begin with so maybe I can do some transformation and he won't try beheading me. Still, I was hesitant to do it so soon. I wanted to see what this new black pikmin who could apparently use ice could do. At least a little bit. Then I'd try it if he was interesting enough. ~End Log~

To be honest, I'm not sure how Karrak goes about his fights so I'm going to try and get an idea from your next log from him Ultra. I really ought to put in that Spyro is a bit of a Blood Knight.

---

I was going to put up a log for today for Leda but I decided against it. I'm going to do a rewrite of the entire log. Until then...

Runa Log

I came out into the open and looked behind me to see that we had entered from the same place. I was still freaked out a little by Nu, aka that red ice-min, and so I wanted to get far away from this place as possible. I looked around before darting away, heading for who knows where, but anywhere was better than here. I stopped finally as I jumped on top of a rock after a few miles of going like this. I wanted to help Eronza in any way that I could but I couldn't help her if I couldn't find her. Kurt was apparently very capable of following me since he was there right behind me. I looked up at the sky for a moment. It was still light out. I looked around again. I spotted some meadow off in the distance and took off once again. I was getting tired of crossing a rocky landscape. I needed a change in scenery. I wondered if Eronza was okay.

End Log

Eronza Log

I couldn't tell exactly what was happening within Marble's head. I hoped that I wasn't making any sort of mistake by trusting one who was once a follower of Keijo. I bet that it would blow up in my face somehow. I walked along as Marble lead the way. He was awfully quiet. I didn't mind though as I was quiet as well. The day was quite beautiful so far. I hoped that Runa was safe. I could easily just check on her. I had the appropriate power to do just that. I stopped at one point in the midst of the tundra and closed my eyes. I cleared my mind as I stood there. I ignored everything else and focused. I saw an image form within my mind and grinned. This image was a little distorted, probably due to the distance involved, but it showed what I wanted to observe. I opened my eyes and looked back at Marble.

"Runa is doing all right."

The only thing that disturbed me was that she was with a strange pikmin. If I had to guess then it had to be a kitsune. I had a knack for finding such beings. I think I could trust him to take care of her for the meanwhile. Runa was leading him and that meant the other kitsune was only familiar with one area. Yet, he shouldn't really trust Runa for leading him somewhere. She had a tendency to go into dangerous places. Especially, since she has been with me. I got a general sense of the feelings that Runa and possibly her current company had but I wasn't sure of that entirely.

I walked off with Marble following me in this blasted tundra. I didn't know exactly where I was going and Marble wasn't much help in this regard since he primarily stayed within the warmer regions of the world. Keijo didn't trust his experiments very much and I could see why. I looked around again and then changed directions. I would keep looking around until I found a pikmin or something else that would give me directions to the nearest settlement. I continued on my way and Marble followed.

---

"Why are you so determined to hunt down, Keijo?" Marble asked me suddenly.

I continued walking as I thought about this. I should tell my companion but he's one of Keijo's experiments. I had to trust someone here but should I really trust him. I turned my head to look at him from the corner of my eye and then faced forward again.

"I was banished from my own dimension until I either kill or capture Keijo" I told him finally and then sighed. "All you need to know is that he's a dangerous criminal from my home dimension that escaped and that I was banished because I allowed him to escape. That's why I'm hunting him down!"

I heard Marble completely stop. I stopped and turned around to face him.

"What is it?"

Marble shook his head a few times as I noticed his eyes had that lifeless look to them. He looked at me as his eyes changed back to normal.

"It's nothing."

I turned around and started moving again.

End Log

Okay...

Runa's log....

She's currently heading towards a meadow with all the usual stuff in it (like flowers and whatnot)...

Eronza's Log...

Hmm...

Eronza has some training as a psychic and one of these allows her to gain insight to see whether or not someone is fine or not. It doesn't include their location or anything. It does give a general sense of the feelings within or around the being that she's looking up. It also allows her to see who is around "said" being.

She grinned only because she recognized Runa's feelings for Kurt. Yep, love (obviously)....

Though the conflict is not noted....

Runa stays in her child/kit form because she's dedicated to the cause but she also doesn't want to do that. The conflict isn't really seen outside as she keeps it hidden. Eronza does care for Runa though as Runa is her companion after all. If she finds Kurt and Runa is not with him then well Kurt is going to be in really big trouble.

She knows that Kurt is a kitsune. She doesn't know Kurt though.

Marble is being affected by something. The thing (or whatever it is) that is affecting him is unknown at this point.

--- \\\Karrak///

I shifted my glance over the blue 'min and the yellow 'min. The blue was perfectly fresh, hadn't been fighting. The yellow?

Clearly favoring his left leg, miniscule holes all over him, and one hunk of crystallized blood in his back that hadn't fallen out. That and the numerous bruises. Koltira had given this guy the works. A little warning wouldn't hurt too much.

"Get your blood checked," I said seriously. The yellow raised an eyebrow. "Parasites. Koltira likes them," I elaborate, and the yellow paled somewhat. Whether Koltira had employed parasites or not wasn't my concern, just figured I may as well warn him. Though how he's still standing, I have no idea.

"Honestly you should already be dead," I continued, scuffing the floor with my left foot, "but knowing him I don't fancy your life expectancy." I rolled my shoulders and drew my swords, igniting the runes lining them, and said coldly, "I don't think you'll live that long anyway."

Most people don't think I'm that fast. Might have something to do with the ice. Glaciers are slow, sure, but I'm no glacier. Still, the yellow has remarkable reaction time for someone's who left leg is nigh useless, though me dragging my blades along the rooftop could have something to do with that. He backed away from my initial swipe, then kept backing up as I continued a quick series of slashes, utilizing both weapons to give him no time to strike back. When I kicked out at his right leg, he was forced to put weight on his left, and it didn't have the strength to hold him up. Rather than give me the perfect opening to take his head off, though, he rolled with the fall, taking only an inch-deep cut along his back as he rolled away and popped back to his feet.

The yellow rushed toward me, seeking to give me no time to counter. I subtly scuffed my foot along the rooftop in front of me, took one step back, and raised my swords in a defensive position, which was entirely unnecessary as he stepped directly on rune I'd left, freezing his feet to the floor. Again, what should have been a perfect opportunity to end the fight was foiled when he caught both my blades with his hands, stopping them short of impaling him. I clicked my tongue in irritation, then froze both blades, the air around them steaming as the air hit old metal. Remarkably, he held on until little bits of frost began forming over his fingers, at which point he broke his right foot out of the ice and kicked me in the chest.

This had almost no effect besides a small bruise that I'll not care about soon, as a thick sheet of ice formed over my armor, holding me firm against his strike. You know that thing I said about not being a glacier? I lied. I pressed forward against his grip with doubled strength, the tips breaking skin.

"Die with some dignity. You lost the second I arrived," I stated, in my eyes as much a fact as the sky being blue. I was fresh. He was coming of his second fight against a superior opponent in half an hour. No contest.

--- ~Ryu~

Spyro glanced at me as they struggled. To anyone else, it looked like he might've been looking to me for assistance. In reality, he was seeing if I had any problems with him transforming. I groaned and, with some resignation, I folded my arms and just turned my head away, still scowling. My answer was clear enough for Spyro. I could still see the fight going on: Spyro suddenly parted the weapons away from himself and lunged forward in a sudden head-butt. The black stumbled back, a bit dazed by the attack momentarily. Had it been anyone else, it would've been a tactic that bought only a few additional seconds to live. In Spyro's case though, it bought him time to focus. The black recovered quickly enough and stabbed at him again. There was a flash of light and his blade was stopped.

  • Wham!*

The black went skidding back and then stared in disbelief at what he was seeing. Spyro had taken his Myrmidon form. The black then glanced uneasily at me, obviously suspecting the same ability of me. He was correct of course. "He's young, brash, arrogant, and doesn't know when the heck to give up." I commented "Like I said: he's a pain in the ass." The black's stare was interrupted by Spyro's clawed foot suddenly attempting to slam into the side of his head. "Oh yeah!" I called as the fight carried on "The parasite warning is appreciated, but dragon blood tends to boil those kinds of things! Any impurity in dragon blood gets eviscerated... to put it lightly!" "Shut up already Ryu. I want to have some fun." Spyro said, rather demented. "You get out of hand, boy and I will drag you kicking and screaming, if not dead, from here." I retorted as they continued to fight. Spyro didn't seem to be paying attention though as he was launching a flaming fist at the black. ~End Log~

Yeah... parasites won't survive in dragon blood. Why do you think if someone drinks dragon blood, they get so much stronger? Just using Spyro's blood would make Kolitra's attacks more effective than usual.

Alright... let'see here...

~Demetri~

I took off for the east. I knew there was just more continent to the west and I was getting a bad feeling about the north. I wanted to get to the ocean as quickly as possible. I started towards the north-east but a fierce wind picked up as I got out of Cascading Plains and I ended going more south

  • Krack!*

I rolled through the air to avoid another intense bolt of lightning from the enraged electric elemental on my tail. I was soon flying into a heavy rain-storm Then Zack shot into the clouds as an electrical stream. Oh boy... I dove for the ground immediately! None too soon either. Lightning sparked and burst in an explosion of electricity out of the clouds and shot through the rain, going everywhere! Had I been air-borne still, that would've been unavoidable and the topaz was still recovering from blocking more electrical attacks. It would've hurt... a lot. A few creatures had watched me dive into the ground but seemed to be too intimidated by the lightning to come out and try approaching me. Some braved it though and I dealt with them quickly and harshly. It was so dark around here with the clouds that I decided to slip into the shadows and get away that way. Again, it wasn't my style... but given the circumstances, I felt it was justified. ~Log Paused~

Half-way. He's in Zellea Hills obviously. Trying to eat a shade like Demetri by the way, it pointless and easily lethal. Unless you live off of pure energy, a shade typically has no meat to offer for a predator. Not only that, but the dark energy they're made of tends to corrupt and kill most things that attempt to devour it. Only a very few living creatures can eat a shade and draw any benefits from it.

Malice Log

I wonder how all of my lucky few followers were doing in carrying out their tasks. I was currently engaged in a fight with one of the weak pikmin who was bold enough to attack me. I held back most of my power as to not crush him yet. My shell was taking care of the rest of the pikmin here. All of them would soon be dead. I was about fed up with this pikmin. I raised my right hand and my axe returned to my grip. I twirled it around with ease and then took a swing at the pikmin with Imorin. One might expect from such a heavy axe that it would be difficult to change its direction once you begin the swing or that you would be able to move it quickly after it misses its target. He jumped away from the axe as it crashed into the ground, cleaving deep into the ground. He ran straight at me. This wasn't the case. I swung the axe as it tore through the ground and hit him in the leg, causing him to stumble about, and cursing my name aloud.

I grinned as I pulled the axe back out and he tried to stop the leg from bleeding but it wouldn't stop. I watched as a healer of some sort came over to cast some sort of healing spell but that didn't work either. I laughed at their feeble attempts at trying to heal this pikmin's injuries. I laughed even louder as I saw the healer was struggling to pull a bunch of cords from his chest. The idiot was going to die and my shell had the proper way to kill him. I kicked the wounded pikmin out of the way.

I turned back to watch the healer continue to struggle and the shell just staring at him. The shell pulled out what appeared to be a heart made out of demonic energy and there was a bunch of energy strings attached to it. Their hearts were connected. I continued to laugh as I knew what the shell did.

My shell crushed the heart-shaped demonic energy in the next instance and the healer clutched his chest before falling over. The healer was quite dead. The shell collapsed with what might have been equal to a grin on its featureless body. I sent some of my demonic energy into the shell. The shell glowed for a second or two and then it reformed itself within an instant. I turned around to look at the pikmin with the still bleeding leg. He was screaming for any help possible but it would be too late for him. I held up the axe and turned it to show the eyeball moving around at the center of the blade.

"Save your breath, scum. Imorin is quite the bloody weapon. If this blade wounds you and as long as you're within a certain distance of this axe, then you will bleed to death---" I said malevolently as I pointed the axe at him.

"What are you saying?" he asked interrupting me when I was talking.

I opened up a wound in his arm with my axe for speaking when I was speaking. These pikmin lacked honor but I lacked honor as well. I'm a demon and demons have no honor.

"You will bleed to death and nothing that you or someone else does will save you from that fate. The simple explanation is that any wound caused by this axe cannot be healed. So, if I open up a wound like I did twice and you cannot get away from me, then you'll die."

It was with this that I split him in half with my axe, blood flying everywhere, the pikmin was dead. I looked around to see the village had been leveled by the currently regenerated shell. It seemed to be pleased about something but what do I know. It merely follows orders and it also protects me. It wasn't even alive. It just had demonic energy controlling it.

End Log

...One of Imorin's abilities is now known and it comes with a condition or two.

The shell did something that was straight out of Naruto Episode 141....

Look it up...

Of course, the shell cannot do this all the time. One can break the cords/strings but only if they have holy or sacred energy empowering a cutting weapon of some sort...

Since Malice is wondering how his followers are proceeding, I might as well address his little inquiry (at least with one).

~Drake~

The fight in the town... check that, more like just a massacre was proceeding quite nicely. In fact, I was hardly doing any fighting and it felt good turning all these pikmin. I was targeting the stronger ones though and just letting the smaller ones get disembowled by the new demons. One warrior-pikmin seemed to think he could kill the invasion at its source. I'm tougher than that now though. I side-stepped his sword and grabbed him by the shoulder, firmly. He knocked my arm away though before I could infuse him. Decent strength. I got up in his face and clawed his chest open. I then knocked him to the ground, standing over him. "Two choices scumling: I turn you into a demon to serve me. I promise it's painful but rewarding in the end. Or two, I tear out your heart and dine on it. I'll make sure it's just as painful if not more so." I gave him a wide grin and he attempted to attack even though he was down. "Never!" "Option two it is!" I cackled and slammed his chest with one hand, smashing ribs. He coughed up blood and I grabbed his neck, pinning him to the ground and letting him bleed out a bit. "Sweet pain, yes?" I was having too much fun but what did that matter. I just love being evil sometimes. I reached into the bloody, open chest and gripped the heart.

  • Censored*

I walked away... feeling quite fine and leaving a nice bloody mess behind me. ~End Log~

I can be soooo demented at times. >=D

8.1.11 to 8.7.11[]

\\\Karrak///

A quick look told Karrak everything he needed to know. Golden sheen to his skin, wings, tail. Dragon flitted through his head. Would have been nice of Koltira to give him a warning. Suddenly it was he who was slowly giving ground, parrying to the best of his ability against a hail of blows and taking what he couldn't ward off with his arms. His arms hurt after a bit of that. Not that he needed to keep it up for long.

Karrak scuffed his foot along the ground, and this time the not-yellow took notice, grabbing him by the arm and tossing him overhead. Karrak extended one finger to tap Spyro upon the wrist before hitting the rooftop hard and rolling to a stop. When the not-yellow charged him and leveled a punch, Karrak seamlessly rose, pulled his own fist, and executed a picture-perfect cross counter. As one, the two spun around with a roundhouse kick, stopping the others blow, before whirling around and exchanging three perfectly symmetrical punches. It was as their fists made contact that Spyro finally noticed the glowing rune on his left wrist.

"Twisted Reflection," Karrak intoned, stepping back in a perfect mirror of his opponent.

"That seems awfully useless," Spyro mocked. "I can't hit you, but you can't hit me either. What's the point?" he asked, before something red clobbered him off the roof.

"Stalling," Karrak noted absently, hopping off the rooftop. The not-blue followed to the edge.

///Koltira\\\

BLOOD.

Koltira had indeed been the one to tackle the dragon-min off the rooftop, with a very specific purpose in mind. Landing in the street and pinning the not-yellow on his stomach, Koltira reared back, opening his mouth, and took one large bite out of Spyro's right shoulder.

"Ah, what the- GERROFFAME!" Spyro shouted, grabbing Koltira by his shoulders and bodily flinging him off. The death knight came away with a not-inconsiderable strip of flesh in his mouth, which he quickly chomped down and swallowed.

"Your blood is... exquisite! More!" he snarled, ripping his sword from his back and charging. Spyro stood and caught the blade between his hands, then hopped into the air as Karrak attempted to scissor him from behind with his own blades, instead hitting Koltira around the middle and receiving a kick to the face for his trouble. When the dragon-min landed he twisted Koltira's blade in his grip and was only mildly surprised to have the Death Knight simply let go and sock him in the face. He returned with his own blow to Koltira's face, and was rewarded not with his head snapping off but with a sickening crunch as a layer of dried blood cracked and flaked away from his face, a new layer instantly rising over it.

"Not this time," Koltira chided, delivering an open-hand slap to Spyro's face. Four thin cuts opened along his cheek, which immediately swelled and bruised as he kicked Koltira in the chest, pushing him off. Karrak once again attacked from behind, sweeping low then rolling out of the way of his retaliatory strike, swinging high only for Spyro to simply fly out of range. This flight was cut short when the wound on his shoulder spurted blood that instantly crystallized and shot through his wing membranes, driving him to the ground where Koltira was waiting, greatsword flying. He turned the blade aside and booted Koltira away.

And then the ground rotted and skeletal hands grabbed at his legs.

"Really? What now?" Spyro growled, breaking the flimsy arms and jumping away from the corrupted ground right into a slime bomb, coating him in a thick green goo.

"Dragon blood is in such short supply, you know. I can ALWAYS use more of rare materials!" Putricide cackled gleefully, advancing with a menacing twinkle in his glowing green eyes. "How about I strap you down and siphon it out, just a bit at a time?"

"No! Take all of it!" Koltira shouted across to him, stomping forward and licking his blade. "You can just reanimate him when he dies and stimulate blood production anyway!"

"Oh, good point! Much more painful that way. I wonder what your pain threshold is?" the psychotic professor wondered idly.

"I'll hold him in place. Frozen dragons can't say no," Karrak tossed in, the trio moving into a slowly tightening triangle, Koltira with blood on his mind, Putricide with experiments on the brain, and Karrak just along for the ride at this point.

~Ryu~

They thought they had him but Spyro generated a huge aura that took on his shape... only it was massive in size. The aura then punched down on them.

  • Wham!*

He sent them scattering. He was breathing hard. "That's enough Spyro, we're getting out of here!" I yelled at him. "No... they're going to pay!" Spyro said defiantly. "And I said: we're getting out of here." I growled, an aura forming around me. Spyro was suddenly focused on me and the blacks all looked in my direction as they sensed the power building. "You all had better back! Off!" I snarled as I concentrated. I then yelled as I unleashed the power. I was gold with blue wings: Kaiser. I jumped into the air as the blacks started at me, eager to take down such a powerful dragon. I spat a ball of purest energy straight down at their destination. They barely managed to stop and go the other way to avoid the explosion of power. I swooped and grabbed Spyro. I didn't get far into the air before my golden companion tried forcibly escaping my grip. I tossed him into the air and smacked him with my tail, launching him higher. The blacks also jumped to try and bring me down I fired another blast of aura-energy at the blood-controller and swiped at the rest. I then turned and flew at full-speed at Spyro. I smacked another black pikmin trying to pick him out of the sky and snatched Spyro again. He still was fighting my attempt to keep him from getting killed though. "Alright..." I snarled in draconic "If you're not going to come quietly, you force me to clobber you first!" I threw him at the tower in the center of the city and knocked him towards the top! Once I had him on the top of the tower, I landed there and proceeded to deal with him from there. ~End Log~

Yeah, they're at the top of the tower in the city. Once he gets Spyro KOed or something, he'll fly off with him. And let me make this much clear: Even among black pikmin, only an absolutely suicidal idiot will try getting involved with a fight between two dragons.

Oh yeah, and before you mention it: no, I haven't forgotten that tower is a lightning rod. They certainly can survive lightning strikes, especially in those forms.

---

Black Scythe

If that isn't the hugest door I've ever seen. And I've seen the door to the Tattered Spire. Although I suppose this is also a Spire in its own right.

"So, how do we get through this thing?" Ark'thugal asked dryly from atop a small pile of corpses. He appeared to be fiddling with a skull in lieu of anything else to do. Barricade was currently leaning against the door, not really pushing. I gave him a look.

"Already tried, Warboss."

"So we're stuck outside? We're just gonna let a door stop the Fist of Zeromus?" I growled. I am not in the mood for this.

Without warning there was a meaty splat as some unfortunate yellow Pikmin hit the ground, apparently having fallen from above. He was shortly followed by a wet splat, as a black glob hit the ground and reshaped itself into a Black Pikmin, who glared upward.

"Dammit."

"How the hell'd you get up there?" Ark asked disbelievingly. The pikmin shade looked over at him and shrugged. "Black Art teleported us. I don't have a way up otherwise."

"Flight?" I muttered. A round of heads shaking.

"Whole thing's a lightning rod, remember? Anyone flying up this thing is gonna get blasted. A lot. Especially with that huge storm coming this way," Barricade replied, pointing to the sky. Sure enough, there was a fairly substantial thunderstorm headed in this direction. Apparently that wasn't dissuading the pair of tiny dots I saw ascending to the top. I debated whether just flying up would be worth all the electric burns and decided against it.

"So, the door."

"Somebody need a door smashed?" a voice called. A trio of the huge mincers I'd seen after the battle with the Infinites rolled up, full of body parts and with a team of death knights aboard each one.

"Stand back, Supreme Warboss! Ya don't want to get in the way of these nasties," one with a pair of mechanical eyes shouted, pulling a lever on the thing. The three trukks unloaded their macabre cargo, and the death knights immediately hopped to work, shaping their unholy energies into the piles. Slowly they formed up, took shape, molding into a horrid abomination of body parts and bones, blood and gore. Twisted monstrosities that should never have existed.

It was kind of beautiful, really.

The horrid abominations uttered an unholy cacophony of roars and charged the door just as Barricade scooted aside, tearing into it with claws and fists and bodies that knew no pain. Still progress was slow. The trukk drivers balked, revved up their engines, and charged at the door, grinding at it with their mincers. A load roar came from behind as someone fired a large cannon, at last denting the thing. I growled. This'll take hours! Even with more showing up by the second to batter at the door, having cleared out much of the lower city, this is taking too long.

Zeromus is not patient.

"Oh will you just GET OUT OF MY WAY!" I roared at last, brushing my brethern out of my path. All assault upon the door ceased as I stomped toward it, flexing my left arm. Veins bulged and throbbed. Black blood pumped with anticipation. Raising my claws, I wrenched them into the door and pulled.

Nothing.

I snarled, braced myself, and pulled again. There was a high-pitched whine, a creaking. I pulled again. More creaking. Summoning all of my strength, I planted my feet and friggin' pulled.

There was a high-pitched wail of metal-on-metal as the door came loose, hinges shattering, frame popping out like plasticine, the edges spewing sparks as a thing that was never meant to be moved was dragged from its proper place. I took another large step back and pulled, bolts pinging out of their sockets, rivets imploding under the pressure, the door's infrastructure failing utterly as the giant thing finally came loose and fell over. I rose my right arm and caught the falling door on the blade, and with one herculean show of force, threw the thing a few blocks away, flattening an entire neighborhood. There was silence.

I drew a deep breath and let loose a roar that shook the earth. An even louder roar followed from my gathered brethren as they charged forth into the utterly terrified defenders on the other side of the door. As I finished exhaling, I dropped to one knee behind the crowd to breath. Epsilon was at my side almost at once.

"Get a good workout?" he asked. I snorted at him, sucked in a deep breath, then reached into my ribcage and yanked out what may have once been a lung. Suddenly I could breath better.

"... I'd appreciate if you didn't do that right in front of me. Or at least gave some warning," the spymaster noted dryly. I snorted again and chucked the organ into the fray. It exploded.

... Wait, what?

Epsilon stared for a moment. "Your organs are potent explosives," he said flatly. I blinked. And then my face split with a too-large grin of serrated teeth.

8.1.11 to 8.7.11[]

~Ryu~

I transformed back as I landed at the top. I'd seen a bolt of electricity come at the tower peak. "Give up already Spyro, you're in no condition any more for a fight." "No." he growled obstinantly and struck at me. His movement was sluggish though from fatigue. I side-stepped the attack and manuevered Spyro back towards the middle of the tower. "If you're going to fight me, you should at least do it when you're closer to peak condition." I then transformed again, this time, taking advantage of the environment. I'd taken Kaiser form the first time just for its sheer power to compete with those blacks below. I'd suffered perhaps a half-dozen bolts of lightning on the way up. Spyro hadn't been hit yet... apparently I was drawing more of the electricity than him. Well, now rather than getting hurt, I was a sky blue now. I was using electricity. Any further lightning in my direction would be absorbed and help me heal. "You're not beating me under these conditions Spyro... you should be able to figure that much out." Spyro seemed to calm down and he closed his eyes. Lightning struck, hitting me and my body absorbed it without issue. "Maybe not in this form... but while you're stuck like that... perhaps another..." I glowered... he was pushing himself... that was for sure. ~End Log~

I'm contemplating using Spyro's third form... just to show what it is. Yeah, the yellow dragon-min is a Determinator I think... he doesn't give up until he's out like a light or dead. The only reason earlier he stopped fighting Ryu was because Ryu refused to continue fighting. This time, Ryu can't back down or Spyro will go challenging the black army again. Funny thing about his personality: I didn't intend him this way originally... he's just developed in my mind into this.

Runa Log

I stopped completely as Kurt vanished again. He was in his fox-form. I had seen him shift forms from the corner of my eye. I quickly spotted him and so he vanished again. I started to move again keeping myself aware of any signs of him. I stopped and then vanished from his sight. I quietly moved along the ground like if I was stalking some small prey that I found. Each step that I took I did my best to keep silent which I did. He still seemed bewildered and I crouched. I noticed that his ear twitched as he seemed to be listening for something. I pounced, aiming to land right on top of him, and then he moved. He didn't move fast enough and so I found myself tumbling across the ground with him. Our tumble came to a stop and I was on top of him. I batted his nose and grinned.

"Got you!"

I jumped off of him and chuckled at the look on his face. The ground shook as I heard something or someone crash nearby. I turn immediately to see what caused the noise. I couldn't see anything until one pikmin popped up, then another, and then finally one more. There were three standing about thirty feet away from Kurt and I. I recognized that two of them were males while the third one was a female. The first pikmin was tough to look at because of how bright he was. I couldn't really tell what he actually looked like except for just the shape. the black eyes, black stem, and black flower. The second one seemed to be a mix of creatures but was mostly pikmin in shape and that she was on some sort of cylinder shaped thing. She had scaly wings as well but they were way longer than her body. The third was the most normal one out of the bunch as he was a colorless pikmin except for the eyes that constantly changed in color and the leaf which was currently turning into a bud. These three made me uneasy and well down-right frightened. All three looked around until they spotted the two of us. They didn't move from their position or anything.

The colorless one disappeared as I continued to look at them. The other two went on their way after what appeared to be of them observing where they were exactly. I wasn't about to interrupt them at all. The thing that disturbed me the most was how the plants were shriveling up and dying around the shining pikmin as they went on their own way. I looked at Kurt and then back at the retreating figures. I started to play with Kurt again as soon as they were far enough away.

End Log

Okay...

I was going to make this a short log but oh well....

Yep...

Quasi, Xericia, and Cobalt crashed down in the meadow and then left. The reason for why they left is pretty simple as they pretty much had their minds on something else. I might have planned for a fight with them but I decided against it.

Runa is willing to play some more with Kurt.

~Kurt~

Once the three pikmin that kind of appeared out of nowhere walked off, Runa went looking for me again. I had already decided at this point, to step up the challenge a bit. I was not only using more skill in my hiding but Runa tried pouncing on me at one point and got a surprise when what was actually an illusury clone exploded on her in a burst of fox-fire. Being a kitsune herself, the fire didn't harm her but it did startle her the first time it happened. I couldn't stifle a chuckle of amusement at her surprise. She quickly understood what was going on and glanced around with an amused smirk on her face. I quickly moved and much of the grass around Runa shifted as myself and two clones all were hiding around her. An average pikmin would quickly be aggravated by this tactic of mine. ~End Log~

So yeah... anytime she tries tackling a clone (which are nigh-indistinguishable from the real-deal... well, when he's putting in full effort anyway), it will explode into fox-fire. The explosion isn't that big either... just a burst. As stated in the log, it won't hurt but it certainly will give someone a shock if they're not expecting it.

The smirk by the way, you can just say didn't happen if it doesn't suit you. I figured Runa would be willing show that sort of amusement in the situation though.

~Demetri~

Zack was apparently still following me somehow and the light from his lightning strikes was blasting me out of the shadows. It hurt mildly in comparison to previous attacks but it was still irritating. Then I saw the ocean... it was miles ahead but it was there. If I could get there... I had a good chance of escape and I could proceed with my plans (after a good rest). But Zack complicated matters with a power he hadn't used before: He unleashed a blast of electricity that resembled an EMP wave. Quite suddenly, everything that was on the ground, started floating. "What the-!" I yelled in surprise. Other creatures of the landscape found they couldn't properly walk either as they lifted off into the air. Zack's eyes were glowing with electrical power and water was stopped in mid-air. "How the hell are you doing this?" I roared, thoroughly confused. "Electricity, when used right... has some capability to cause an anti-gravity effect. It's a small area compared to what I could do on Cascading Plains but..." he shrugged, making it clear it didn't matter to him. I made an explosion of dark energy in front of me, launching myself backwards. Zack fired a bolt of electricity at me but I shielded myself from it and just tried to absorb the damage. With how much power he'd already unleashed on me, I was certain he wouldn't be able to hold the anti-gravity for long. I caught the ground and yanked myself forward, shooting across the ground in the no-grav environment. Zack huffed and pulled in electricity. Promptly, gravity returned and I tumbled across the ground. Several other creatures crashed back to earth. I got to my feet quickly and hurried forward toward the ocean: my escape. I finally jumped out towards the ocean and dived into the water! ~Log Paused~

Zack's anti-grav ability is based, of course, off of an Orange (or rather the Sky-) Elebit abilities. Orange ones could manipulate gravity to fly. The sky one could kill gravity in a large area. Zack has similar abilities. However, giving an area a lack of gravity is hard to hold for him and he can only hold it for more than an hour at Cascading Plains. Anywhere else, even at full power, he can only hold it for half an hour in an area of maximum size.

Black Scythe

Tromping across blood-soaked floors, I eyed the large spiral staircase slowly winding its way up the interior of the Storm Spire. It cut off at parts, swapping to the outside. No straight shot to the top here. I can hear sounds of fighting much, much higher up; Black Art's group, then. They must have been on the exterior, from the guys that fell earlier.

What's REALLY proving to be a pain in the ass is the fact that for once, the enemy is coordinated. Those hulking undead behemoths had died under a withering hail of gunfire and lightning, and everyone else wasn't having much better luck, the staircase proving an annoyingly effective chokepoint. Every so often a bolt of lightning would streak from the walls and fry someone, so now most of my troops were in the unfamiliar position of hiding behind anything that would provide protection from the lightning. Naturally this did not include me, gunfire and lightning proving a minor annoyance. Just as I was about to storm up and maul the chokepoint on the stairs, however, along came Arkthugal's three prime disciples, Koltira leading a frenzied charge and bowling straight through, yelling incomprehensibly about blood. His small hole quickly became a large one as their defensive line broke, and I followed leisurely behind the main mass.

The next two defensive chokepoints had been similarly bashed through by Koltira, but the fourth one (On just this one staircase, god damn), was actually holding him off. Or perhaps that was the other way around, considering the corridor ahead was firmly blocked by a wall of blood. Koltira, Karrak, and Putricide were leaning against it.

"They have a suppression cannon," Karrak explained.I didn't bother asking what that was, instead opting to barge through the blood wall, straight into a solid wall of bullets. I shrugged it off and sliced the entire chokepoint in half with one swing, then continued marching implacably forward. The fifth, and thankfully final, chokepoint fell the same way. At last I reached a plateau which lead outside.

The exterior was some other kind of carnage. Here was much more open, with pockets of resistance all about, with two sets of stairs on either side of the plateau leading up again, both with equally formidable chokepoints. This place was designed from the ground up to take a siege, wasn't it? Oh, did I mention the constant lightning? That was getting annoying.

~Ryu~

"Enough Spyro." I growled and exhaled a spray of electricity at him. He attempted to tough his way though that but the natural lightning was also adding to his pain as it also struck. I gauged myself a bit... I didn't want to kill him if I could avoid it. I lunged at him and snapped at his small, pikmin form. He gasped as my jaws ripped into him but I could sense his usual doggedness keeping him alive. I dropped him into one fore-leg and flew off, his unconscious body in one clawed foot. My body absorbed any lightning coming at either of us so he went undisturbed as I flew, into the electrical storm. I really needed to drop some of my affection for fellow dragons... if I didn't, another dragon would probably get the upper hand on me and kill me. ~End Log~

Yah... so now, unless you can absorb electricity and fly in some chaotic winds, flying after Ryu is suicidal.

Obviously, I decided not to bother at present with Spyro's third form. Also, I think I ought to put down Ryu's affection for dragons as being a weakness. He'd be hard-pressed to get himself to kill another dragon.

===8.8.11 to 8.14.11

Black Scythe

Now, I'm sure someone else may have noticed, but this plateau is shaking somewhat... whatever. Eying the two stairways, the left one seems to be more lightly defended. That way, then. I reached up to my upper right arm, where several glowing green pustules began to grow. Plucking a few off, I threw them at the yellows defending the stairs. I'd like to imagine their surprise when those little green blobs exploded, little biological bombs. Cooked it up in about the last ten minutes. I directed the troops in that direction... then turned my gaze to the edge of the plateau in time for, of all people, Barricade to heave himself up. Those near the edge were quickly reduced to a pulp.

"Stairs too flimsy," was his only explanation... and also the only thing he managed to say before a fast purple something landed before him and blew him straight off the edge with a shockwave.

"Ah crap," I heard someone yell. "The purple leader's here!"

Gura turned his gaze immediately upon me, then slammed a fist into the floor, a thin crack shooting straight under my feet... and to the left stairway.

"Clear the stairs!" I shouted, far too late. The entire stairway crumbled, taking everyone with them. That's why it was lightly defended, it was a trap! I had no time to reflect on that before Gura was upon me, his first blow devastatingly powerful; Trombe had somewhat undersold his strength.he blasted me across the to same edge he'd knocked Barricade from, then set about unloading the goddamn fury. The plateau actually began to buckle under the barrage.

That lasted right up until I whipped my tail around and scored a deep cut across his chest, at which point he grabbed the tail, pulled me around, and punched he up a few stories, through a wall.

Growling, I rolled to my feet and spat out a few shattered teeth. If he thought he could-

"Hydra," was all I heard before a torrent of acid washed me right back out to the plateau, boiling off the protective cover of those explosive pustules I'd grown and full-on blowing my right arm off. I stood up, acid weeping through holes in my skin as flesh and bone re-knit themselves. The purple leader didn't even give me time to recover before viciously hammering me back into the floor, the imprint plowing all the way through to the ground floor. Magellan, the white leader, stuck a hand out of the hole in the upper floor and sprayed venom all along the plateau, separating me from the troops. Divide and conquer...

"Haha. Hahaha. HAHAHAHA!" I cackled madly, pulling myself from the floor. Gura slammed me right back down, then backed off as my tails whipped around at him.

"Find something funny? Like your impending demise?" he prodded, slamming a fist into the floor. The plateau tilted, throwing me off balance and into a wicked haymaker. I laughed through it all, clawing at the purple leader through a bloody haze as yet more poison washed over me. I swung my right arm at the upper floor, forcing the white leader to back off, and got another body blow for it. Now I got my first real hit, digging my claws into the purple leader's arm and raking them along it, tearing flesh and muscle. He threw his left arm about to pulverize my skull.

"What's funny! Hahaha! Someone that actually fights me with everything! COME AT ME THEN, SEE IF YOU CAN KILL ME!" I roared as my face reconstructed itself, digging my tailblade into Gura's right leg. He slugged me in the face, then yanked my tail out and pulled until it tore, flinging the offending blade away, then ducking - barely, as my right arm swung over him, unloading several blows to my torso. I felt bones crack and shatter, bending in ways they weren't meant to. Ignoring that, I flicked my right tail at the purple leader, throwing needler crystals at him and at last forcing him away.

Alright, I think it's about time I just moved on with my story here a bit. I'm going to skip a bit here though as I've already spent plenty of time running through this and well, I'm doing simply too much with a character who's doing little in the way of interaction with someone else's characters.

~Demetri~

Alright... done with that castle up in the clouds. No one home so I helped myself to a bit of extra power to the jade. All eight gems are now powered up and recharged. I reinforced my dark grip on them with a bit more dark power on all of them. There was incalculable power in these now. I wonder if what I'm planning to do first might get the attention of those dim-witted black pikmin? I headed for the crater where Gear's Spire had been. ~Log Paused~

I think I'll continue once Scythe and all them have reached the top of the tower they're in or at any rate, once they're high up. If the remains of Gear's Spire is visible from there... they're going to see something of... interest.

Leda Log

I stood there as I wagged my finger at him.

"Definitely, not a bright move,” commented I, smoothly. "You're interesting and I may have agreed with you if I was still that ignorant red. See this sword." I held up the blade to draw his attention to it. A smile appeared on my face as I stared at my opponent. I laughed as I stood there. I had taken the brunt of that attack but in reality, the full power of that attack didn't even get a chance to reach me before my blade acted, and so I was hit with only a fraction of its power by the time that it hit.

"My blade and I are parts of the same being. One doesn't fight with anything but from what comes from within their soul. I wasn't sure who said that to me or at what time but I finally get it. The soul resonates with the body and the opposite is true."

I backed up as he fired a beam of ice from one of his devices. It didn't even hit me as the shard blade absorbed the power. The force behind it, sent me directly into the lava, but I was right at home in the lava. He tried to force me back up by causing the lava to splash upwards with whatever that he did but it was of no use. This lava had my back but now it was time to change things up.

"Release 2...Release 3!"

I wouldn't normally go to the third level of my "Kentala's Fang" ability but this was different. My aura turned from blue to red and then it darkened to black. My senses were enhanced significantly and this lava wouldn't slow me down in the slightest. I landed on the smooth surface that was untouched by the lava generated by my ability. I shoved my foot against the floor and sped through the lava as I was completely within my element. I spiraled around until I focused on the exact platform that my opponent was standing on. I could see him clearly from here.

The second level increased my ability but my third ability added something new to the mix that completed it. I made several hand-movements and I closed my eyes within a few seconds after that. I felt my sense of sight return to me immediately as I could see from what came up from the lava. I stared down at the back of his mech, he seemed to notice that something had rose up from behind him, but he wouldn't be able to get out of the way. The lava snake sprang forward with its mouth open. He tried to dive out of the way but quite clearly couldn't do that.

The mouth clamped down on a different target due to his quick thinking but I hoped that he would do that. The part that was clamped down on by the snake melted completed. One part of his mech's limb fell down onto the ground while the other part stayed on as it was still connected. I opened my eyes as I shot through the other side of the platform. I grinned as the lava shot up behind me. I saw the lava snake fall apart before returning back to the lava.

The lava hardened up and filled in the holes between the platforms. I landed onto the ground in front of the two stone pillars behind me. I returned my sword to its side and very carefully removed all the heavy metal bands around my body. The final thing that I removed was the headband. I was going to hit him with everything that I got. He attacked me with another ice beam but it was cut in half before it could reach me. One part of the beam hit one stone pillar while the other hit the second stone pillar. My opponent was definitely surprised by what happened.

"I hope that you still got some fight left in you, worm. Don't think that I'm fighting against you seriously as I'm not. I unlocked my full power now but that only means I see you as not a worthy opponent" The mech that you use keeps me from calling you as such" said I, calmly.

I rushed towards him as I aimed to hit him once again with my full power behind

"I won't kill you but everything that you worked for on that mech will be destroyed!"

End Log

Yep, this sounds better. If you have any problems Kirby, then say so or make changes. I'm pretty sure that if something happened fast enough then the mech wouldn't be able to dodge.

Leda can easily move around in lava due to NDV's passive ability. It allows her to move around in any substance freely as if she was using the air itself to move around in. More powers under the NDV (Natural Divergence Wave) have emerged. She can shape the lava as well under her command to shape certain creatures of which she can see out of.

Leda's third level of her ability (Kentala's Fang) seems to be useless but she hasn't even used it to its full potential yet (which she will only do so against a worthy opponent).

She has unlocked all of her power. She has boosted much of her speed, agility, and power by a very significant amount. The power (that she was using with the power inhibitors on) was not even half of her power. This ain't yet the full power that she can use but it is the full limit of what his physical state can obtain without Blood Flare. The lava has hardened completely and so Digit in his mech can move around freely across everywhere. One of the mech's arms has fallen off due to a part of that arm was completely melted away. The mech has a stump for an arm now (if you want to know then the stump starts at the shoulder). I'm pretty sure that the mech wouldn't be too crippled from just having one arm being removed.

Digit won't be killed. Leda aims to completely destroy the mech and then end the match by merely knocking Digit unconscious after she says something to him (what that something is, will be revealed later).

~Digit~

I opened up again and shut down the armor. I then jumped out. She looked stunned when I did this. I told the spare moment to speak. "If you're wondering if I have a death-wish, then let me ask you something:" I pointed at her blade. "How would you like it if someone shattered that blade of yours? Or removed your ability to fight somehow? Or both for that matter?" She scoffed at the idea. "I'm not saying I can do that. I didn't think I'd be a match for you from the start. But there are plenty here more powerful than me and they possess far more formidable abilities than me. Some can remove the ability to fight any more permanently. I've seen it." She looked mildly intrigued now. "Kill me if you will. I never claimed to be your equal, Blood Queen. But what you promise to do is something I'd rather take death than suffer. I will guard my weapon to the death; whether it be a sword or a machine." I then placed myself so that any strike at my armor wouldn't be able to avoid me. ~End Log~

I'd rather not go the "humilation" route, Shadow. Kill Digit, or leave his armor alone. Digit's speech was an attempt to put things in perspective for her. If she was permanently (and incurably) rendered unable to fight, then what would she do? (Note: I am not claiming it is possible for someone to do this) I doubt she'd appreciate life for long. Yeah... doing something like this to Digit would be a "Fate Worse than Death". The trope word-for-word. That armor is his pride and if he's going to lose it, he'd rather die with it.

<Omicron>

Target sighted. The large dome of dark energy wasn't exactly hard to miss. I'll have one shot to make this count.

Running a scan over the energy dome, I picked out several feasible entry points. The surface fluctuated, ebbed and flowed, and the energy thinned at certain points. All I had to do was pick a thin spot and blow through it.

"SPIGOT VX, prepare full barrage," I said, more to myself than the actual SPIGOT system. Four large, metallic rings floated up behind me in clear defiance of gravity, energy building into the opening in their centers. Disengaging an energy pistol from the mech's hip, I took aim at the energy dome, picked out a weak point, and opened fire.

My own shots merely pecked at the dome. SPIGOT, however, focused four powerful, repeated beams of energy upon that point, quickly blowing a hole through the dome. I rushed into the breach immediately, on-board computer picking out the four combatants. Sloth fighting Seraph, and Delta in the middle of losing very badly to Strosek. The SPIGOT VX system flew in behind me and took aim at Strosek, unleashing a hellish barrage of beams that quickly got his attention. As he swung the Divider around, I rushed in, clenching my left fist.

"Vibration Shatter," I intoned, slamming my fist into the EC-Divider. Dividers were tough. It couldn't take one of these, though. The blade shattered with a high-pitched crack, and I unloaded a round into Strosek's face before he could right himself.

"Divider damaged. Initiating recovery m-" was as far as the Book of the Silver Cross got before Sloth closed the distance, grabbed the book by the spine, and unloaded a powerful electric shock. Before it could move, I slapped a hand down on the cover.

"Tech: Spell Lock," I called, lacing the book with a powerful seal. Skipping past it, I rushed at Strosek again, who raised his shield to defend... and suddenly found his arm pulled away by a thin line of sand. I socked him in the neck, released a taser, and electrocuted the hell out of him. Strosek dropped like a sack of bricks, his tattoos and outfit receding as EC-Divider and the Book vanished, replaced only with a cuff around his wrist. I laid a hand over his face.

"Tech: Stasis," I muttered, temporally locking him. That's him down. Seraph made himself known with a bout of sarcastic clapping.

"Oh bravo, Omicron. Good job taking down the only guy that could have hoped to beat me," he said, giving me a thumbs up.

"Are you crazy, he just took Strosek out like nothing!" Delta shouted.

"Element of surprise. Seraph knows I'm here now," I replied as SPIGOT lined up behind me.

"And here I'd been under the impression that you were the smart one, Omicron," he chuckled darkly to himself.

The temperature dropped a few degrees. I glared for all I was worth as the four SPIGOT rings released edged rings of energy around themselves.

"Do not. Insult. My intelligence," I snarled.

Her blade has become a part of her again if you missed that little detail. One of her arms is gone when she uses the blade and when she returns it, the arm returns...

Leda Log

I stopped and pondered what he asked me after he got out of the mech.

"You're asking me that?" I asked him.

I looked at my arm.

"My blade is always restored but if someone removed my ability to fight, that's a different matter. I was never sure until now about the answer to that question. I would find a new way to fight as I always have. If I have learned anything from my years is that no ending is definite. There is always a new beginning for someone if they only search for it. If something that I use to fight is destroyed beyond use then I'll find a way to go without it. If someone takes away my ability to fight then I shall a find a way! I shall never look back and go forth into the horizon!" I answered with a determined look in my eye. "There are endless possibilities if one just searches for them"

I strode towards him slowly.

"If you just give up because you're rendered completely unable to fight then you're not trying hard enough! Don't rely so much on something. The pride ain't worth it!"

I stopped in front of him as I looked straight at him. I punched him too quickly for him to respond and he was sent flying back into his mech with a metallic thud. The mech was sent back a few inches.

"My pride wasn't worth it!"

I saw him standing up to defend his mech. The stone walls surrounding the smaller fight area broke down revealing the larger arena that we were fighting in. My anger was at its peak as I saw him standing there defending what I saw now was his pride.

"I had my humiliation when I was defeated by a past leader of the bloodseed. I was asked the same question that you asked of me. I had no answer but he didn't kill me, I found myself knocked out and I was left me to contemplate my life. He could have taken my ability away to fight and I knew that he could have. I was close to killing myself but I saw that as a coward's way out. I made a promise to myself that I would always find my ability to fight again if it was taken away. I would never choose the easy route!!!"

I closed the short distance between me and him. I would have killed him but instead I would speak my last words to him in this match.

"I'm prepared for the worst. No one can remove my ability to fight for long" I said solemnly as I pointed my finger at him. "I'll just push through it!"

I would give him the same chance.

"Are you going to stand by your pride? Or will you leave it and forge a new path?" I asked him with a deadly serious tone in my voice.

I waited as I was ready to finish him off.

"Decide!"

End Log

Leda will kill him as she hates those that keep to their pride. She may be seen as bloodthirsty but she acts under her own beliefs. She gave up on her pride in the past and forged a new path. Leda is giving her speech though if Digit listens or not...

It's his business.

Leda doesn't see someone taking away her ability to fight for too long because she has always found a way around that possibility even if it takes awhile to figure that one out.

Leda has been through a "And I Must Scream" (basically an extreme fate worse than death) quite word for word with one of those time-freezing devices that Keijo deployed. Basically, time is stopped entirely...

The body does not age. The body cannot move. You can still feel pain. The only thing that you can do is think and after awhile that gets boring. Your mind still ages. Now spread that to an almost limitless amount of time...

It makes one feel completely helpless.

~Digit~

I listened to her response. It would've been idiotic of me to ask the question and not listen to the answer. When she finished, I couldn't help a small smile.

"Huh... and here I thought you were like all the others: too proud to care about someone so obviously beneath them." I chuckled. I took one last fond look at the mech I'd been working with. "This has stood by me for a long time now... I suppose it's about time I took a stand for myself." She posed herself to attack but I held up a hand. "Hold it... I didn't say you could destroy it." I said, standing up in the cockpit. She got irritated but didn't react fast enough to what I did next: "Let's see if I've got what it takes to get started." I then raised both hands (bracing myself) and pounded the twin buttons on opposite sides of the cockpit with each fist.

  • Booooooomm!*

~Log Interrupted~

He triggered the self-destruct on purpose (both buttons must be pressed within a half-second of each other). He had been planning in case it looked like his suit was going down to take the attacker down with him (dying in the explosion). In this case though, Digit is testing his own endurance. As far as he's concerned, if he can't survive this explosion, he doesn't have the endurance to get started training his own body and he's a lost cause. Stupid, yes... but if he's going to lose his suit, the tech-head's going to insist on losing it under his own terms. If it pleases you, you may choose whether he lives or not. Or you can let it remain in my descretion. Either way, things could go one way or the other.

Hi, guys. I totally forgot what I was doing with my characters, so I'm going to restart from roughly five character logs before where I left off.

-~=L'ran=~- Sedacia and I arrived at the blacksmith's shop, she trying to conceal her scorpion tail beneath her traveler's cloak, and I still wondering why this piece of starstone was so iron-rich.

The bell above the door rang upon our entrance, Sedacia mildly startled by the unexpected noise and trying to keep her composure.

"Jumpy friend you got there, kid. What can I do for you?" The blacksmith asked, then squinted a bit as he cocked his head to the side. "What's with her flower, anyway?"

"Hm? Oh, I dunno. Anyway, I was wondering if you could forge this into something." I handed him the large lump of starstone, and he just stared at it for a second.

"Wow. This rock is almost completely iron. That is beyond unusual."

Sedacia spoke up, "Well, is it that unusual for rocks that fall from the sky?"

The blacksmith shook his head and continued, "Not at all. That actually explains a lot. So, what do you want me to forge this stuff into, anyway?"

Hm... I hadn't thought of that.

"Well," Sedacia started, "A steak knife, for one thing."

"What happened to the old one?"

"I, uh..." Sedacia's voice started to slowly quiet down. "...kinda-sorta broke it. On accident. With pudding."

The blacksmith and I just gave her blank stares, as we wondered how it was possible to break anything with pudding.

"Anywho... so, a knife, and then...?"

"Um, Austin could use a weapon... as could I... Hm... See if you can get a battle ax and a halberd out of that."

"Alright, one knife and two ax-type weapons, coming up." The blacksmith dropped the startsone into a crucible, and began his work.

I sat down next to Sedacia to watch. I'm not sure which is weirder, the fact that she hasn't talked in a week (aside from two minutes ago), or the fact that she broke a solid steel knife with PUDDING. ~End Log~

The pudding thing was a last-minute add-in, mostly because I remembered the time I broke a braces bracket on mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Black Scythe

The ledge the Black and Purple leaders were poised upon creaked slightly, shifting downward. The crack widened ever so slightly. The Yellow Pikmin had built Storm Spire to be sturdy.

They just hadn't quite built it sturdy enough for this.

Gura warded off a stab from Black Scythe's right arm by simply punching the blade at the point, shattering it completely at the cost of a little bone shard wedging itself in his knuckles. He yanked the bone out as the Black Leader's arm simply regenerated the lost blade as he grabbed a few of the bulbs from his right arm, chucking them at the purple. Gura swatted them away with a quake and punched the floor, shifting the entire thing down about a foot and breaking the floor underneath Black Scythe. He hopped away as the section of floor broke and fell, swinging his tails around in a huge arc. Gura caught both tails and pulled, yanking Black Scythe up and slamming him back down on the other side, the impact pushing the ledge down even further.

This went on for a few minutes. It seemed almost one-sided, with Gura dishing out most of the damage, Black Scythe moving slowly and deliberately around him and making fleeting attacks, easily warded off. It was only when Black Scythe tapped at the floor and the entire ledge splintered did Gura realize what he'd been doing and hastily leapt toward the safety of the unbroken ledge. Black Scythe himself merely drifted back toward the ledge, snagging Gura's right arm with his tailblade and yanking him onto flat ground. The broken part finally gave up the ghost and shattered entirely, falling away to the city below.

Gura hardly had a chance to pull himself to his feet before he was holding off Black Scythe's blade at his throat. The black leader pressed in, cutting into his hand but making no actual progress. Before he could swing his right tail around to finish it, there was suddenly a hail of gunfire in his direction, distracting him just long enough for Gura to pull free and kick him away, nursing his cut hand.

Black Scythe, on the other hand, rolled to his feet, growling. Enough distractions. Flexing his left hand, he slammed it into the floor, burying it to the wrist. And then there were spikes. Erupting all over the platform, impaling anyone unfortunate enough to still be standing in their way. When he withdrew his hands, the spikes came with it, dropping corpses to the floor.

Gura had managed to evade the spike that had erupted beneath him, however, and had taken the moment of reprieve to close the distance and land one heavy blow, knocking the black leader clean through the wall and back into the spire. He rolled to his feet again and spat out a shattered tooth, feeling at his gums with his tongue. The tooth didn't grow back. He grinned a lopsided grin. Oh this WAS fun.

Leda Log

I was back in the lobby. It was empty unlike the other times. I guess there might be another match somewhere else in the coliseum that everyone went to watch. I was officially in the higher brackets. This was obvious to me. I would have to wait eight hours. That would be enough time for me to prepare for my next match. My opponent from that last match survived that suicidal explosion of his, but just barely, he would be fine. He could hopefully pull through the process and find his path. It wasn't something that I wanted on anyone. I looked around as I noticed the guy behind the desk. I remembered that I saw someone up on the stands, just staring at me. I could see a grin on his face. It hit me that guy up at the stands had seen everything unlike the others in the stand. It was obvious since the others were quite irritated. I should continue on in the coliseum and get to the top. It would only be then that I would fight against the current leader of the Bloodseed. I want to see what that guy was capable of. It would be a hard road ahead for me.

I was about to walk off when someone harshly called out to me. "You cannot escape me once I have my hand upon you, my obedient little pet." I looked widely around for the one that spoke but soon realized that I knew who it was. It was that blasted pikmin, Keijo. I don't know what he was planning but I hope that it would involve something else other than my kin. "Don't worry about your fellow bloodseeders, Leda. I gathered all my research on your worthless kind after I captured you, the second of two. I've determined that your kind poses no threat to me. All I ever will do is sit and wait until any threat to me dies off."

I frowned as I was filled with dread as the voice of Keijo died away. I couldn't escape from him or hide. No matter what I did, he would always find me and take me back.

End Log

Keijo has upgraded his equipment again. His voice is only heard by Leda. No one else can hear it. Keijo ain't worried about the bloodseed at all or maybe he is. He wouldn't be attacking the place that the bloodseed call home since he ain't someone who would do that. He is more of that guy who has stuff to cause destruction with but won't ever use it unless someone attacks him first. Goggles ain't that guy. Goggles, if he was out from under the foot of Keijo, would cause major problems for the world in general. Keijo's presence is pretty much the only thing that holds him back. Goggles is a dastardly warlord. One of Keijo's multiple faults is that he doesn't know entirely about the forces that he messes with for his projects. The other one is that he's too lenient in some cases.

Digit survived.

Runa Log

I played with Kurt for a few more times with his whole illusion tricks, after eventually getting him several times, and him trying to up the difficulty on me. He seemed pretty impressed and asked where I, a young kitsune, could have known about which ones were the illusions and which one he was. I ignored him for the most part and he seemed to chalk it up to luck. I didn't really care. I finally stopped as I looked suddenly to my left. I darted off through the meadow. It was when that I found myself at the edge of the meadow and craned my neck upwards to see and gasped in surprise. I hadn't seen anything like that back in my world. There was a floating isle and upon which was some sort of observatory. The observatory was built up out of some black material and seemed to cover the entire island. I saw something shining at the bottom of the island but couldn't tell what it was. I blinked as I shook my head a couple of times and then looked at it again. It was still there. Yet, I got this feeling that there was something up there that I had to see.

How did one get up to something high up in the sky?

I looked around before spotting a structure that was made out of the same black material.

Could that structure be the key to getting up there?

End Log

I plan for much more to happen with this. Two parties will be converge on the same spot after all.

~Digit~ (Hours Later)

I woke up feeling quite sore. Not surprising and I only had myself to blame of course. You try surviving an explosion and, provided you pull it off, see if you don't end up sore in places. My mechnical arm was gone. There was a few metal bits left of it but the explosion had pretty much destroyed it. "Suppose I'm a bit tougher than I expected of myself..." I grunted, sitting up. "Oi... what did you think you were doing? Suicide?" someone asked. "I think she made a good point." I said with a shrug (my shoulders cracking) "So I'm going to try and climb again under my own power." "Feh... whatever." I looked at the speaker and I swallowed... I'd seen him around and I had always made sure I knew his name. "Ha ha..." I chuckled nervously "Um... hi Green." "I've been watching that 'Blood Queen' for some time now. She looks like an interesting opponent... I'll give her that." Green said, a rare smirk gracing his face. "You plannin' on fighting her?" Green snorted. "Not 'til she comes to me."

  • Crash!!!*

A red abruptly came flying through the wall (made of rock so it had to hurt) and Green evaded the red, who smacked into the other wall, leaving an indent in it. "What the hell?" Green muttered and peered out of the new hole. There was an arena that way and the platium visitor was in there apparently as Green grumbled: "Bloody visitors... can't keep the fight in the arena..." "Ow... isn't a doc gonna help me...?" the red stuck in the wall groaned in barely a whisper. Green ignored him and marched out to the arena. ~End Log~

Might as well get a move on.

~Green~

  • Mutter, grumble, mutter, grumble*

I stomped into the arena, confronting the platium, visiting fighter. "You think you could keep the fight in the arena?" I said testily. The platium shrugged, not looking at me. "He was annoying me so I dealt with him." I rolled my eyes at this. "Kill him if that's the case. But I don't appreciate combatants flying into the infirmary when I'm visiting it." When the platium just started to head out, I cracked my knuckles to get a bit of attention. "Mind not ignoring me? It's impolite." I said tightly. ~End Log~

I'm not really sure how Sigma will react to someone who looks much like Red (without the darkness) so I'm kinda leaving it to you Ultra. Sigma probably won't mistake him but still, I wouldn't know.

I just thought I'd get a move-on with this.

Blue log

I found myself tied up to a electric chair. "So, you thought you could fool us?" Kanaedolph said, as he glared at me. "What is your name?" He asked. "Sandy." I said. "Wrong." He said, as he ordered one of his goons to turn on the electric chair. PAIN. The goon then turned the chair back off. "What is your name?!!" He asked. "W-w-waleria!!!" I responded. "Who do you work for?" He asked. "I don't work for anybody." I told him. "Wrong answer." He said, as he ordered one of his goons to turn on the electric chair. PAIN. LOTS OF PAIN. The goon then turned the chair back off again. "Now tell me, WHO DO YOU WORK FOR???!!!!!!" He asked. "St-st-stone!" I responded. "Who?" He asked. "A scientist, like Gear!" I said. "Ahh, I see..." He said, as he made the goons turn the electric chair back on. My poor everything!!! The goon then turned the chair back off once more. "Take her to her cell, we'll see what master Scythe wants to do with her." He ordered his goons, as they untied me and dragged me away.

End log, Kanaedolph does not take kindly to spies.

Aura Log

Our group arrived in the village on the island after using a raft that was on the shore. We had to avoid mostly numerous whirlpools and even the largest ones that were about five miles in diameter. We still made it there. Nothing had changed about the village in general except for new faces and the general lack of old faces. I didn't know anyone here. A youngster brushed by me as he dashed off followed by two others. They were playing some sort of game. The village that was always peaceful. War never touched the island's shore or this quaint village. The guardian made sure of that. The guardian itself was akin to a god for many on the island.

It was the one that created all the whirlpools. That's what I knew all those days ago. I stood there as I looked back towards the mainland which I couldn't see anymore. I turned back as I noticed the others had gone on without me. I sped up my pace until I caught up with them. I glared at them as I slowed my pace again. I was walking at the same pace as them in a few moments and yet they seemed uneasy. They knew what I was like.

I continued glaring as I was walking by their side. "Ya don't just leave a young and pretty girl behind, guys! It's rude."

They stared at me as they walked. "Aura, you're old as we are."

"I don't think about that."

I didn't hear Timballisto's footsteps anymore and so I stopped and turned around. Tim had stopped in his tracks and looking upwards in the air as if scanning for something. He gave the question that we were all thinking, "Do you two feel that?"

Isaac answered, "Yeah, it feels strange. Something is warped around here. Have you noticed the sun?"

I looked up at the sun.

"What do you---? Holy...the sun hasn't moved since we arrived." I said completely surprised

"Time doesn't just stop on its own."

I noticed that the other two were looking around and one of them waved a hand in front of one of the villagers to see that villager passed right through his hand.

"Freaky..."

I looked around and almost shouted in surprise as I saw the air flicker. The village was becoming distorted, waving about, and then everything was gone. I looked around to see that we were still on the same island but what was that. I heard a low vibrating noise coming from up above me just as I was turning to leave. I looked up.

"Keijo?" I asked in complete surprised. He almost never came out from his place of residence if at all to visit us. No, he did in the early days but grew paranoid when the war began.

The other two turned around and looked up at the descending figure. Isaac glared at him and took out his blade.

"What the hell are you doing around here, two-face?" he asked with a growl.

I noticed a strange device on his back and he seemed a bit irritated but as soon as he landed on the ground, his whole attitude changed. He looked past us as he apologized though he ignored Isaac's question entirely. He broke out into an explanation as soon as Timbal asked him about the village, "Ah that was one of the earlier versions of my virtual reality software. I determined that it was too dangerous to be used. Sorry about the village and all. It was wiped completely off the face of the map. Everyone was killed off." He looked over at me directly. A tear fell from his left eye as he looked around. "This is quite the beautiful little island. I hate it when war All three of you were born here. Is that right?"

"That's right."

Isaac was right there with his blade just an inch away from Keijo's neck.

Isaac screamed angrily at Keijo, "Don't ignore my question!"

"I wish that we could have more of a nice chit-chat before I got down to business" Keijo replied. "I see now that ain't gonna happen. I'm sorry that I drove you through this whole mess, Aura and Isaac. I know that saying sorry won't fix everything but I had my reasons for doing it. This world will soon be in great danger from a threat that this world hasn't seen in a long time. I acted quickly in that notion and got you two to separate and go your separate ways, hating each other. Aura and Isaac, you two have become the heroes that this world will need in its darkest hour."

Isaac took his blade away but he kept watching Keijo. I knew that Isaac had bad relations with Keijo but he seemingly changed his mind at that instant.

"Let's save the world, then---"

Keijo held up a hand, a signal for him to stop speaking, and he continued to speak in a calm tone, "The demon's plans are already afoot but you cannot face him yet. He's far too powerful for you two to compete against. That's why I have come to take you to "Starr", the pride and joy of my defense fleet. All three of you can come. I need to get all of you stronger for what's to come."

I thought about it for a moment as I looked up at the sky. I faced Keijo and readily agreed. Isaac was shocked by this and grumbled something or other about how this guy did nothing good for us. I ignored that and he agreed reluctantly and Tim chose to go along since the two of us were going. Keijo reached behind his back and pressed something. We were all enveloped in a bubble of sorts.

"Quickest way to travel. My technology is the best in that regard."

End Log

The entire story about what Keijo did to them will be explained at a later point. Keijo is actually sorry for much of what he has done to others though he won't say this to anyone but Aura or Isaac. This starts the beginning of the Virtual Reality arc of mine. The reason why he said that version of the virtual reality software that he has was dangerous is something that won't be explained until later when it is fully in use by the enemy.

Alright, that's enough stalling from me...

~Demetri~

I called up Kratos, wherever he had wandered off to. I just simply contacted the dark energy infesting the emerald gem and called it to me. Kratos showed up after a few minutes. "Took you long enough..." I muttered and sat myself down on Krato's back. He remained still for me as his dull brain couldn't do anything to resist me. Not as he was. I took a moment to ready myself, sitting there at the top of this earthen stump. Once I had gathered the stored energy from seven of the gems, I lifted off of Kratos and yanked the emerald out of him. The earth he was made of dried up and Kratos effectively ceased to live any longer. "Shame you couldn't find your 'partner'... might've been handy for me to have at least one elemental out of the way. Ah well, let's get this party started..." I forcibly extracted the earth-energy and focused all that power I had. "First... to introduce myself to the world again." I chuckled and rocketed up. The gems lined up with behind me in a tall, evenly distanced, stacked-up line. "Showtime." I formed several levels. Within a minute, I had a nice big tower built... out of the elements. "Perfect. Time for next step." ~End Log~

Bios of the location coming up on the wiki.

No one? Ah well, I'm patient enough. And I'll get to Kurt in my own time. Don't feel like it at the moment (I don't have to respond anyhow so if Shadow decides to move on first, that's fine).

~Matthew~

Great... he built himself a nice little tower. Well, actually it wasn't "little", far from it. The tower was quite large and I couldn't see the top for the black cloud shrouding it. Geez, he's gotten powerful if even a fellow shade can't see through. I arrived at the tower and approached it. Nothing happened so it was evident that Demetri either didn't care I was there or was too busy to notice. Either way, I could easily walk right up to the colorful portion of the tower that wasn't obscured by black fog. One floor seemed to be made of fire... another of a cyclone of air, and the other floors I could see were clearly made of an element. Dark wasn't visible but I could easily guess it was at the top. "Guess I'll see what he's up to then..." I muttered and searched for a way in. I only needed set a hand on the wall and the tower sucked me in! ~Log Paused~

I'm not nearing any finales yet so don't get too excited.

~Matthew~

It was odd, seeing walls made of electricity, yet nothing was electrocuting me. It was as if I were just standing in a room. "Hmmm... so you've already come for a visit have you?" Demetri spoke from directly over head. I looked up at the ceiling of the room, seeing a rock ceiling past the sparks and electrical ceiling. It was... weird to say the least. "Puzzled by my tower, yes? Don't worry about it... I think I'll give you a special little VIP seat and allow you directly up here." A multi-colored bubble encased me quite suddenly and I was yanked straight up! Rather than getting crushed against the rock, I was dragged right through it like I was ghost and I rushed past a blur of elemental colors. I was soon a very large, pitch-black room. It was made of darkness. I could see the main attaction of the room: a very large ball of dark energy... which I could see was growing in size, very slowly. "Okay, what's the deal Demetri? You're being awful easy on someone who's clearly trying to kill you." "I think I've found someone of interest, that's why." Demetri responded, appearing. I got ready to fight but an intense force from Demetri attempted to hold me in place. "Curious... so very curious..." Demetri murmured as I started to break his hold. "What's... so... curious?" I growled, my jaw tight as I struggled against his hold. "Tell me... why is this reacting to you?" ~Log Paused~

<Sigma>

Well now. THAT was actually pretty relaxing. Note to self, schedule more fights with Broxigar. That's fun.

You know what's not so fun? People bugging me when I'm minding my own business. So really, when I chucked that red Pikmin clean through a wall into the infirmary, he had nobody to blame but himself. Hell, at least he was in the infirmary, any broken bones should be easy enough to set, right? I stalked back to the arena to watch the latest fight, ignoring the protests of someone in the room.

Getting to the arena showed two guys already duking it out, both apparently running on that Bloodseed berserk... thing, whatever. The crowd was certainly loving it. The same dude who called out in the infirmary stomped up to me after a few minutes and blathered something, wasn't listening.

"Mind not ignoring me? It's impolite," the red said. I raised a hand and extended a blade at his face. You know that good feeling I had earlier? That's gone now.

"I'm not particularly in the mood to talk to anyone. Get lost if you know what's good for you."

~Green~

I darted around his sprouting blade and aimed a kick at his head. He blocked it and made to counter-attack. I deflected the blade and swung to break his arm, which he reacted to moving his arm out of the way and then swiping with one long energy blade. I dropped low and made to knock his legs out from under him. He hopped over the attack and swung his own leg out at me, a blade sprouting from there as well. I flipped back, repelled. "Don't feel like talking, you say? Well then, how 'bout I beat some respect into you instead?" He made to respond but I shot forward and he barely avoided my fist slamming into his face. He reacted too slow to counter-attack and I pressed my offensive. "Make up your mind whether you're gonna talk or fight!" I yelled and swung hard with my foot, slamming him straight in the gut and sending him skidding back a foot or so. "Either way, I've been keeping an eye on you: I'm your next opponent anyways." I said testily. "So which is gonna be?" ~End Log~

Yeah, I figure we ought to get Sigma out of the arena. I don't think Shadow wants to bother with fight between Leda and either Sigma or Green.

Fallen Seraph

"Come now, you can't honestly expect to- GUH," the corrupted seraphim was cut off - rather literally - as Omicron's SPIGOT system quartered him. His sliced body pulled itself together with dark tendrils, and he melded into the shadows to avoid the other two rings. Even as his shadow raced cross the ground, the four rings grouped up to focus all four beams to one point and follow him, carving a burning path across the ground in his wake. The rings were fast, but Seraph was faster, moving behind Sloth before popping out from the ground and taking a swing.

The large yellow grunted at the attack, and discharged a large bolt of electricity in return, which Seraph merely laughed off, dancing away from him and the incoming rings, which broke formation to chase him individually. Seraph lead them on a merry chase about the clearing before his foot rather suddenly sunk several inches into the ground.

"Oh you little...!" he hissed as SPIGOT lit him up like a Christmas tree, before shielding himself from the beams and reforming his wings, pulling himself free and into the air to let loose a volley of missiles at the SPIGOT rings. None made it, as Omicron sniped each neatly out of the sky with a small array of point-defense lasers.

"This has become rather boring. I've had enough of playing with you," Seraph suddenly declared, several tentacles wrapping around from behind him and gathering a worryingly large amount of dark energy. As Omicron interposed his machine before Sloth and Delta, though, Seraph suddenly paused, the energy dispersing harmlessly, and his gaze turned, distracted. It was soon replaced with a look of utter rage, the dark dome he'd projected over the clearing fading away.

"DESECRATOR! I'LL RIP YOU APART AND HANG YOUR ENTRAILS FROM MY WINGS!" he snarled, viciously and in numerous voices. His wings snapped open and he was suddenly gone, rocketing off to the southwest.

The three remaining blinked.

"Huh. What do you think set him off?" Delta wondered aloud.

"Judging by the satellite image, I'm going to hazard a guess that it has something to do with Gear's Spire. Or whatever just replaced it." Omicron remarked. "I'll send a team to retrieve Strosek. This... bears investigating."

"Aw hell no. I'm not going near that tower OR that crazy seraphim again. Leave me out of it," Delta declared. Sloth rolled his shoulders, but looked like he agreed.

"Never said either of you needed to come. You're free to do whatever you like," he said, shrugging his own shoulders, before taking off after Seraph. Delta and Sloth stood in silence for a moment, before Sloth laid on the ground.

"You're falling asleep HERE?"

"He said he was sending a team," Sloth muttered, and promptly fell asleep.

~Demetri~ (An hour or so later)

Hm...

That annoyance was out of the way for now. But I could sense yet another force approaching. It attempted to fly directly to me but three elements got in the way. First, was electricity flying at it. This barely annoyed it. Second, was ice forming very swiftly on its wings. Those wings solidified and couldn't move effectively. And last, was a whirlwind that kicked up around the tower. More like a hurricane-force gale. With its wings frozen stiff, it couldn't fly in that. The wind and the ice sent it plummeting to the ground with an almighty crash. "And that people... is why you do not fly in an icestorm. Thank you much." I commented to no one in particular. Of course, it attempted to fly up again... was again stiffen by ice despite attempts to stay defrosted and was sent crashing to the ground yet again by the tornado guarding my tower. Electricity frying it all the way. I just sat back, waiting for him to take the ground-route like everyone else with half a brain. I'd deal with it when it got here. ~End Log~

Don't expect to defeat Demetri, even with Seraph. Seraph cannot defeat Demetri. I'll make that much clear. Still, Seraph isn't going to be deterred so yeah... once he figures out flying directly there won't work, I think the floors shouldn't be too much trouble for him. Demetri will even save him the trouble of fighting the gems and just allow him up when he finds the way up.

===9.12.11 to 9.18.11

Fallen Seraph

I will NOT be denied! If the exterior is too tough, I'll just go through the middle!

"Chaos Cannon!!" I growled, anchoring myself with several tendrils. My body folded in on itself, transforming entirely into a cannon. Dark tendrils wrapped around it, gathering energy with a sickening glow. Upon reaching full charge I let loose with a massive beam of chaotic energies, puncturing a hole clean through the first floor. Even from here I could see the hole closing itself, flooding over with elemental energies. No time to just shift back, then! I pulled myself free of the cannon, and rushed forth, clearing the breach just as it closed. ______________________________ <Omicron>

Rather interesting, indeed. This new tower seems to be made entirely of elemental energy. Shame I've lost track of Seraph already, my signal can't penetrate at all. In that case, that just means I need to have a look inside as well.

The four SPIGOT rings lined up in a row before me, and I tapped into the battle droid's reactor, a mighty glow gathering about its chest. Taking aim at the second floor (a lead on Seraph can't hurt)...

"Reactor Cannon, fire," I ordered, firing a tremendous energy beam forth. It hit the first ring, which focused it down into a thinner beam, then the second, focusing again, once more at the third, and finally into a very fine, hyper-focused single ray at the fourth ring. The resultant beam punched through the tower's outer shell like rice paper. I kicked on the afterburners to make it through before the hole sealed behind me, and was somewhat disappointed to immediately get four errors as the SPIGOT system's comm link was cut off. Seems my direct signal to the droid is strong enough to make it through the walls, though. Now then...

"Commence scan... FOR SCIENCE!" -End

PS doors are for chumps :crossarms:

Well, there's no door anyways. To get into the first floor, all Seraph had to really do was touch the wall of the first floor and it would suck him inside. But given his state of mind, it makes sense he wouldn't bother doing that. As for Omicron, well, since it's only the second floor, that all makes sense.

~Demetri~

"Nice knock..." I commented sarcastically. If science-geek wants to look at my tower, well... I guess I can let him. I'm not hiding much. I continued to sit back and let them try to navigate their way up. ~End Log~

Omicron is going to be detecting an absurd amount of energy gathered at the top (if his scanners can reach that far through the interference).

If Demetri wants, he can turn the entire tower into one nightmarish maze, effectively making a vertical labyrinth. He even make it so it changes on explorers. If he were to do this, it wouldn't be ideal to try smashing your way forward or the tower is going to wear you down fast. Anyways, the way forward in this case is fairly straight, they just need to avoid the room attacking them on occassion and find the gem; the moment they directly attack or attempt to grab the gem, they'll be teleported up one floor. The topaz will be found on the Electric element's floor and the emerald on the Earth's and so on and so forth. Just to refresh memory about the gem colors: Ice: Diamond Fire: Ruby Water: Sapphire Wind: Jade The opal and onyx are with Demetri.

Lilith Log

I smiled as I watched the newbie do his work but for now with me being on the edge of the town in question, didn't need to worry about being interrupted, and so had all the time in the world. I focused my attention on the work at hand as I scoured the city for the exact linking point. It wasn't until I searched the entire town twice that it seemed that the best linking point between this realm and hell was at the two statues at the center of town. I swapped places with the shadow clone closest to the statue. I looked around and grinned at the pikmin surrounding me. They were probably wondering what I was doing here but it was time to act. I turned around to see that I was close to the statue in question and I looked back at them. I recalled the four shadows to my position and it was then that the pikmin rushed me. It was no big deal. My personal army of shadow pikmin came out of my four shadows.

The two sides clashed as I turned around again to face the statues. The exact point seemed to come from the statue to the left, the first one. I placed my hand on it and shadowy energy started moving across the statue in waves, never collecting at one spot, and always disappearing into the statue. I heard someone trying to run up to me but they were quickly knocked to the side as out of my back came one of those trees that I absorbed in the last assault. I didn't turn around as I was too focused on finding the right point. It was only a few seconds later when I finally did and I laughed in delight. I pulled my hand back and punched the statue. The statue still stood there but a small crack had formed. It wasn't just a crack in the statue but a crack between dimensions. I could see red between the cracks.

I allowed energy to flow through my right arm. I touched the statue and drew first a pentagram. On the inside of that pentagram, I drew a reverse one. And then for the final touch, I drew a star around the outer-most pentagram. I touched the statue in question and let out a tremendous surge of energy. Crack! The statue fell apart as the dimensional wall fell apart in bits and pieces like glass. A black-lined bubble surrounded me and the statues. I could feel the energy gathering up at the center. All sound was drowned out for that brief instance before the energy bubble blasted outwards destroying everything within and anything that it touched. I heard scream upon scream of pikmin and the sounds of buildings collapsing in the nearby vicinity. I looked back at the center point as a portal had formed there. A hand with an eye on its back thrust its way out, followed by another hand. Both gripped the edge of the portal and pulled.

One leg stepped out, and then another. I couldn't tell what being was stepping out as they were covered in the shadows. A head emerged and then finally the rest of the body stepped out with chains across its body. The chains disintegrated within a second or two and the shadows disappeared from the being's body, revealing it to be a rather strange pikmin. Three eyes formed on its head, a flower burst out of its head, and a mouth formed there. It looked around for several seconds before looking back at me. Its morph formed into a big psychotic grin. It stood there before it spoke in a thousand voices dripping with malevolence, "Thanksssss for freeing usss, Lilith. We are Nazar, loyal servants to Lord Malice." I shuddered as a cold wind blew by me as this thing spoke. It didn't open its mouth at all and that made it freaky.

I wondered how this could get any creepier. I followed its gaze as it turned around to look before it focused on a single pikmin climbing out of the rubble. It shot forward as it shifted its body around. I watched as one second, the head of the pikmin was still there, and then the head was simply gone. The blood gushed upwards from the neck, forming a fountain for a few seconds, before the last of the blood came out. Nazar was standing behind the pikmin, licking its lips, and then turning back to me. It was back at its previous position before I could say a word. "That was delicioussss." Its head was now malformed and its three eyes were grinning. Its arm quickly extended out of its body and I found myself staring at the rubble of the right statue. I hated this servant of Malice.

"Eh...um....welcome to the fold, Nazar" I said calmly as I was freaking out on the inside.

End Log

Um...

Yeah.

Lilith has freed Nazar. They speak like they were snakes. They also all speak at once, no matter what. They can shape their body in any way that they like. It doesn't matter about the proportions, the size, or the weight. They can take any form. Don't try thinking of a strategy against one form since it can shift between powers. Nazar is officially creepy.

Black Scythe

Black Scythe rolled right right shoulder, eliciting a series of popping noises from tensed tendons. Gura stepped through through the hole he'd knocked the black leader through and was immediately assaulted with needler crystals, which he responded to by hefting a chunk of the shattered wall and blocking the shots, then chucking the debris aside before it exploded in a fine pink mist. The black pikmin had closed the gap in that time, though, and took a wide swing with his right arm, following with his claws as the purple pikmin ducked the first blow. His claws found purchase, though, and he raked them along the purple 'min's face, leaving five ragged gashes. Gura cried out as a claw went through his right eye, ruining it utterly, and unloaded a massive blow to Black Scythe's chest in return, blasting him to the middle of the room with a heavy boom.

"Nice shot..." Gura muttered, holding a hand over the ruined side of his face. Black Scythe slowly got to his feet, breathing labored and dark blood seeping from his mouth. Nevertheless he wore a manic grin.

"Finally slowing down, huh?" Gura taunted, launching a shockwave at the black leader. He allowed it to wash over him, feeling his bones creak, and hocked up a wad of blood that promptly bubbled its way through the floor. His left eye narrowed.

"Slowing down?" he cackled, flicking his tails. Now his right eye narrowed, and the left opened. "The dawning of a new age is hence! One cannot be slowed now!" The right eye widened again. "No, now is when I speed up!" he sneered, rushing forth.

And then the ceiling fell on him.

"Hah! Spot on!" Magellan shouted from the floor above. He yelped as he was forced to jump back, avoiding a hunk pof debris Black Scythe threw at him.

"Annoying rodent..." the black leader snarled, taking a mighty swipe with his right arm and cleaving the above floor with the pressure wave. Gura leapt out of the way as a ton of rock and Pikmin fell to the floor below, Magellan among them. The purple leader jumped forth to assist them.

Black Scythe beat him there.

"Now you see the darkness come! Kehehehe!" he cackled, lifting the white leader by the neck. Well, mostly by his entire body, big hands and all.

"Magellan! Damn you, put him down!"

"Blood for the master!" was Black Scythe's only response as he neatly scissored the white pikmin's head from his shoulders. His right eye gaped wide as he cackled, tossing the corpse aside. "Come on, let's see what'cha got!"

What he got was a hammer blow to the face, slamming him into the floor. He wasn't able to get up before Gura jumped on his chest and unloaded blow after blow into him. He felt bones crack and give way, organs rupturing and repairing themselves, the healing slowing down.

"Die, god damn you! JUST DIE! DIE AND TAKE ALL YOUR EVIL WITH YOU TO HELL!" Gura roared, the floor spiderwebbing under his assault. Black Scythe coughed up a small fountain of dark blood.

"Finish it!" Black Scythe hissed, left eye maddeningly wide. Gura raised his fist to oblige... but his farm came back down limp as he gazed at the little horn of metal protruding from his chest.

"Sorry, did I interrupt something there?" Ark'thugal drawled. In one fluid motion he pulled Shadow's Edge from the purple leader's chest and swung it back around, slicing him in half at the waist. He then kicked the severed legs aside, knocked the purple's upper torso to the ground, and slammed the axe's horn through the purple's head.

"And that makes nine hundred. You okay there, warboss?"

Black Scythe gurgled up some blood in response, but his chest rose and fell to show he was, in fact, still alive.

"Good enough for me," Ark shrugged and departed, shortly replaced by Epsilon. The sniper kneeled by Black Scythe.

"Still with us boss?"

"Almost... died..." he chuckled darkly, as if the mere concept was amusing to him. "Not yet. Not yet."

Epsilon raised an eyebrow, but nonetheless sat down beside the warboss, rifle at the ready.
